I’m the same, my temp spiked yesterday morning, but it’s back down this morning (although I had a terrible nights sleep. OPK’s said I surged yesterday afternoon though

It’s so hard to pinpoint it isn’t it. I suppose though as long as you’re covering all the days around it hopefully you’ve got a good chance. I got my ‘peak’ this morning and then had terrible pain today so I think I can safely say I’ve ovulated today.

Tor88 · 28/01/2026 12:09

First test is an hour old, second test is 10 mins old..first is an evap isn't it 🥺🥺
These tests claim to be 96% accurate 5 days before your period is due (which is today for me), so I must be out this month...

It completely depends on how long your luteal phase is, mines only 10-11days so if I tested 5 days before my period was due I’d only be 5DPO

Babyno21990 · 28/01/2026 19:38

@Tor88 are you able to share your tests?xx

Tor88 · 28/01/2026 21:53

@Babyno21990 I tried uploading the photo like a thousand times and it won't add... Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm 8dpo, 5 days before AF. I've done 3 tests today and two have had evaps but both wayyyy after the time limit. After trawling threads it looks like this happens all the time with clear blue ultra early and it cannot be trusted at all 🥺 brutal... Let's see what FMU brings tomorrow.

Babyno21990 · 28/01/2026 21:56

@Tor88 oh no, it’s a pity you can’t upload it. I had several positive that ended up looking like Evaps too but they were positive. Also 8dpo I had no positive tests but 9dpo it started showing so don’t lose hope as it’s so early 🥰 fingers crossed for tomorrow morning 🫶

Tor88 · 28/01/2026 22:12

@Babyno21990 ahh you're giving me hope!! I just found a whole thread about evaps from that brand (clear blue ultra early) and they are really common so I really think it must be that, they do look like evaps..yeah the photo thing is so annoying, when I click add image - upload it just goes round in a circle for ages... Bizarre. Anyway let us see what tomorrow brings!! I have all the cramps and sore boobs but that's very common luteal phase stuff for me...

Babyno21990 · 28/01/2026 18:30

@Jill4578 aw yay!!! Delighted for you 🥰
@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy oh absolutely!! Just a scary time lol

@Shellbells4427 aw I’m sorry to hear that. Most of my sisters tried for over a year and they finally got their babies, but one of my sisters had lots of issues with her thyroid and they told her it was at normal levels whereas a private doctor told her it wasn’t optimal to conceive. As soon as she got medication she got pregnant straight away. Have you had all bloods etc checked for anything going on?xx

Hiya! Thanks for responding. I did back on 2024 have tests done. Both me and my partner. Showed some low motility and count on his side. We managed to fall pregnant after 18 months. Lost little one at 19 weeks. Had a break and been trying since. Got a 4 year old who would love a baby bro/sis ❤️ being patient sucks though doesn’t it 😅

overwork · 29/01/2026 12:19

@tiutinkerbell @Pololol @Glittertint I had my first acupuncture session today! Not sure what I was expecting. It was very holistic, she suggested that I need to change my diet ideal to get the most out of it. Comfortingly, she said seeing as I’d had a baby before, I might not be infertile as such, but so depleted from pregnancy / birth / blood loss / breast feeding and heavy periods etc, that was what she wanted to help with

tiutinkerbell · 29/01/2026 13:34

@overwork - glad you had your first session! I have my second session this afternoon to line up with potential ovulation this weekend. Mine is also very holistic and mentioned the huge blood loss I had during my miscarriage as a factor, so that's interesting!

overwork · 29/01/2026 14:26

Oooh that’s exciting! Hopefully it helps to make that uterus of yours nice and welcoming!

overwork · 29/01/2026 14:27

Yes she said Chinese medicine puts a lot more emphasis on replacing blood, and as women, we’re constantly depleted.

lepoissonM · 30/01/2026 07:52

Of course I tested today and didn’t wait until tomorrow. Does this look ok for 10DPO? I had a chemical last month so not getting excited yet.

Hello all! Im in the tww currently 8dpo! Ive stayed away and kept busy so I dot go mad. Trying to catch up on this busy thread!
Massive congratulations to those with positives, so many added since last being here!
@Coco9910 how you getting on?

@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy any updates from you ive missed?

@Glittertint I know you were in the o window when I last posted!!

As well as everyone else in the tww sending all the luck and positivity ✨️

8dpo I haven't noticed any symptoms wise - I do have pms but last two cycles I kept thinking they were pregnancy related and got excited as it hasn't been - its just been pms so i am going with having the usual pms and not getting hopes up if I am honest.... my AF is Due the 8th. However that is 28 days cycle. Last cycle was 26days but have been known for 30-31 days. So I seriously am contemplating holding testing until Sunday the 11th!!! Am I mad?!?!🙃🙃🙃

Anya23 · 30/01/2026 09:17

Hi guys, I think I had my peak this morning, so again when hubby is away for work 🙄we managed to dtd yesterday and Wednesday, and probably can again tomorrow morning, hopefully that'll be enough. I created a new thread as I think most of us will be in the tww in February as well, although hopefully we won't be needing it too long! https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/conception/5483573-ttc-tww-feb-march-2026?utm_campaign=thread&utm_medium=app_share

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 30/01/2026 10:18

@lepoissonM That looks good to me! Congratulations and fingers crossed for a sticky baby!

@Orangeroses243 Not really 😂 on day 28 of my cycle and still no EWCM! Think my app is going to right about ovulation around the 14th Feb, so another month until I’m testing 😩

@Anya23 Aarrrgghh! That’s so annoying about husband away! But sounds like you’ve managed to cover it fairly well, even if you missed today. Fingers crossed for long lasting sperm 😂! And thanks for the new thread 😊

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 30/01/2026 10:27

@Orangeroses243 If you definitely know when you ovulated then your period should be 11-14 days from then, normally people’s luteal phases don’t change that much, it’s normally the folliclular phase that lengthens/ shortens cycle lengths I think. So I’d think you’d be fairly safe to test in 4-6 days time, on day 12-14 post ovulation and get an accurate result?

But if you can hold out longer, good for you!! Definitely the cheaper way of doing it, unlike me! I’m dreadful, poas at every opportunity 😂

Coco9910 · 30/01/2026 11:56

@Orangeroses243 I’m 9dpo today and feel like I’m symptom spotting but not sure if everything I’m feeling is what I normally feel after ovulation, and I just haven’t noticed 😂 AF is due on Wednesday for me! Feels like a long way away yet 😰

Glittertint · 30/01/2026 13:31

Heyyy! I’ve been quiet trying to not think about the TWW!

6dpo! Trying to just wait and see and also hope for no pms as in my head it means my hormones are balanced!

@overwork Yay! It’s relaxing isn’t it and I really buy into the TCM ideas! I’ve actually booked a session for next Wednesday and weekly going forwards, but tried to emphasise just focusing on wellbeing and creating a state of safety in my body for a baby! Will let you know how I get on! In my head too, I’m trying to think that acupuncture is my element of “control” with TTC and everything else is what it is!

@Orangeroses243 2 days behind you! Fingers crossed! The TWW for the first week I always finds goes fast but it’s 7-14dpo it’s slow!!

TTCNumber2in2025 · 31/01/2026 10:17

I’m on 7dpo today, and so far the TWW has flown in, but this is when I normally start to get the urge to test 😬 trying not to symptom spot too much, but it’s hard not to!

Coco9910 · 31/01/2026 12:22

@TTCNumber2in2025 i keep getting the urge to test but keep telling myself I need to wait until at least 12dpo 😅 im
10dpo today so just sitting tight 😰

TTCNumber2in2025 · 31/01/2026 12:33

@Coco9910 my problem is that with both of my previous pregnancies (1successful, 1 chemical) I had positive tests at 9dpo, so it makes me want to test as early as realistically possible to get a positive 😂 I need to try and find some self control and even getting to 10dpo without testing would be a miracle!

Coco9910 · 31/01/2026 13:04

@TTCNumber2in2025 ahh can see why you are tempted!! I think it would stress me out if I tested too early and couldn’t see clearly the result 😅 where as currently I can still live in hope 🤞🏼

Orangeroses243 · 31/01/2026 20:43

I am 9dpo today and despite me saying I wasn't testing until day after potential latest AF day...I tested today 😅😅🤣🤣🤣
I dont want to get my hopes up but I think I have a squinter of a shadow!!!!
Going to miss tomorrow and re test Monday morning now. If today's was a squinter by monday should of progressed to a clearer line 🤞🤞🤞

Glittertint · 01/02/2026 08:51

Does anyone else get really bad insomnia in their TWW? If my DH wakes me up at 3am for the toilet etc or my toddler does I’ll be wide awake until at least 4.30/5!! And then I get really stressed it’ll impact my hormones 🤣
