@HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemyi have been using the Natural Cycles app which I was successful with first time round on my DD who is 4 now. It relies on BBT which I did find helped me lots last time. Because I’ve just started again, I don’t have a full months worth of data so it’s been difficult to pinpoint. I do think I have had my ease in temp after ovulation but NC says that it’s still to come?! So I could either be ovulating tomorrow or 4DPO 😂. I have also been putting my temps into CHAT GPT which sad that I have ovulated so am 4DPO. I have had irregular cycles since having my first. But not hugely irregular, between 26-31 days!

I’ve heard BBT can work really well! Will be funny to see which predicts more accurately, Chat GPT or NC app 😂 5 days difference is a huge amount! It is annoying having irregular cycles, isn’t it? Definitely makes ttc more difficult!

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 30/12/2025 10:02

@Glittertint Disrupted sleep is the worst!! Hope your toddler goes back to sleeping soon.
I don’t think it does impact though, my first was the worst sleeper and still managed to get pregnant first time of trying with my second.

Ahh absolutely. With my first I was 30 days on the dot. This last 12 months alone I have ranged from 22-33 days 🤯.

i know, im keen to see which one is right 😂.

I have had lots of ovulation pain from the 26th, so thinking that Chat GPT might be right but too scared to miss it so going to carry on doing the BD tonight and tomorrow too. Not that DH is complaining! At least that way I should have covered all bases 😂

tiutinkerbell · 30/12/2025 14:19

Well after all the weird sleep last night, I think I might have actually got a positive OPK this month! I seem to miss mine every month, so this is a unusual surprise!

I think that’s about as positive as you can get @tiutinkerbell😂

I can never seem to catch a positive

Glittertint · 30/12/2025 16:12

@tiutinkerbell thats a great positive! Wonder if your dreams were trying to tell you!

Not sure if I’m between 5-7dpo but getting proper on/off twingey cramps and I’ve got lower back pain! It’s making me feel hopeful but also not hopeful as the lower back pain was there last month too. I deffo find since having my toddler my lower back pain is worse during luteal phase

8DPO…

Hey everyone, I am in my first cycle post MMC. I think I ovulated on 21/22 Dec as I got a peak static smile on CB on 20th. (After a negative and then a few flashing smileys). DTD on these days as was keen to try again if possible, and bleeding had stopped at this point.

Miscarriage was confirmed as complete and my pregnancy tests were all negative.

Since around 26/12 I’ve been having a lower pelvic/abdominal sensation/cramp. No pain at all but I feel something and don’t know what it is….

Implantation can’t last that long…. Not period yet as it’s too early. Wondering if it’s something to do with the recent MC? Has anyone had anything similar? I’ve had no spotting.

When I conceived the last cycle which ended in miscarriage, I remember I had a tiny bit of spotting around 8DPO. Nothing this time.
Any advice appreciated!

Who knows! With my MMC, I had this weird feeling for like a week, after I already started having positive tests.. Fingers crossed it means something! I'd test tomorrow🤞

What’s the sensation feel like? And how long for? With my first I remember getting a stratchy sensation like 8dpo but I never had any bleeding if that helps!

Yes it’s so hard to tell! Especially as it’s nothing like anything I’ve had on previous cycles. Did you ever have implantation bleeding/spotting?

Last time with my MC, I had the TINIEST amount at 8DPO but I’d have missed it if I hadn’t been looking 😂.

I would test tomorrow but I know I’ll be disappointed before the year is out! Lol.

Anya23 · 30/12/2025 21:18

@EmeraldPieI had pink spotting around five weeks with both pregnancies, which they said was still coming from implantation, I never had it earlier than that! I understand not wanting to test, but hopefully you can start next year with good news!

Kind of stretchy/localised sensation but not painful or uncomfortable if that makes sense. Just feels there’s something going on. It’s never been normal for me to get any feeling prior to period. I keep thinking my womb lining is recovering or something but I miscarried naturally, no intervention, and it was blighted ovum so not even any embryo. Who knows :(

Oh interesting, at which point did the pink spotting start?
Aw yes, would be amazing to get a positive but I have this feeling that it would be too good to be true on the first cycle after MC. I’d be in shock! 🫣

It was one evening around five weeks with both of them! But with the MMC it was actually around the time the pregnancy stopped developing, so who knows if it was signaling that.. With my dd it never meant anything, but with this pregnancy, the spotting came back a week later

Also you can never know 🤣there are many stories about getting pregnant so soon, or immediately after an MC!

Ah it’s just so variable isn’t it!
Yeah I was getting these awful late night cramps around 5 weeks along on the last pregnancy. That was also when the pregnancy stopped developing. I never followed it up as didn’t have any blood in the slightest…
The EPU mentioned about giving progesterone if spotting happens early on?

They gave me progesterone a week later, but unfortunately it was too late, they just didn't confirm it on the scan yet..

@EmeraldPie for a couple of months after my MMC (also passed naturally) I had a similar sensation, mine was more towards the left side where the baby had implanted. Im guessing it must have been irritated tissues and things recovering

that was just me though and hopefully yours is a good sign! 🙏

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 31/12/2025 08:06

I am around 9dpo and have woken up feeling exhausted! Might just be the 2 year old but maybe a symptom?

@Utardelis I think you’re right! Feels kind of like irritated tissues. Probably MC recovery. I’m 9 DPO today approx so I’ll see if period comes in a few days, lol

90yomakeuproom · 31/12/2025 09:17

13dpo and still BFN but no signs of a period at all. I came off the coil a few months ago so can anyone help with which dpo does your period normally start if you have regular cycles? I have no idea of my cycle length or if this is normal or going towards the longer side.

Anya23 · 31/12/2025 09:21

@90yomakeuproomMy luteal phase is 14 days, no matter what CD my ovulation is

OP posts:
HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 31/12/2025 09:26

@90yomakeuproom Typically your period would start 14 dpo. Irregular periods don’t normally affect the time post ovulation by much, some people have a slightly shorter luteal phase, I think 11-14 days is considered normal.
What irregular periods tend to affect is when ovulation occurs. I’ve got an approx 60 day cycle so don’t ovulate until about day 46 but then always have AF 14 days after that! Hope that helps a bit, it is very confusing!

Have you been tracking your periods since you came off the coil? When did your last one start?

tiutinkerbell · 31/12/2025 10:59

@90yomakeuproom my LP is very very short, so I would expect to come on my period at 8/9 DPO. Have you been tracking at all since coming off the coil to see any patterns?
