Oh @TaysonicI’ve got everything crossed for you that it’s just some mystery bleeding and all is well. Do you have any cramping?

I’m CD11. Not tracking ovulation this cycle with anything so just hoping that a bit of a rest and relax will help.

sending love to all who are trying and find this time of year hard

Marvelftw · 24/12/2025 14:36

@Iris2024 aw yay looking forward to seeing how the thread evolves :) Yeah I’m alright hun, just finished the last of my Christmas bits today and have a bit more wrapping to do this evening. Currently 4DPO on cycle 7 but trying not to read into anything too much. Hope you’re well!

Taysonic · 24/12/2025 15:10

Hi @Fullofconfusion - I had a bit of cramping last night, so I had this weird premonition of what was to come last night. Couldn't get to sleep for ages. And then had the bleeding this morning. None since... but I'm fairly sure that's how it went last time too. I got myself all hopeful thinking that it was just some 'normal' early pregnancy bleeding and that made the eventual news harder to take. So, staying away from hospitals and tests and just going to see what naturally happens. Either way, it'll be obvious this time next week what direction things are heading in one way or the other. It's fine. Not ideal timing wise but... is it ever?

Morning everyone, AF showed up yesterday for me, so going to throw myself a cheese & wine pity party!
So glad for those of you that have positives but also grateful im still going to have some of you all to chat to next cycle.
Im going to take some time away this week, spend it with hubby and try to be appreciative for the life we have even though this year hasnt been what we’d hoped!
hope you all have a wonderful Christmas with your families ❤

I did my test this morning (early detection) at about 10/11DPO and got a negative. I expected this though as it really feels like AF is coming. A bit disappointed. But now I'm also worrying myself about whether everything is normal with my cycle. Do other people get cramps and sort of vulva discomfort for days bwfore their period? Not sure how normal this actually is or if it points to a problem.

daisy2025 · 24/12/2025 20:42

@Taysonic I have everything crossed for you lovely

Sorry to those who have had AF show up

This really is such a hard time of the year, hope everyone is doing ok ❤️

charlzz · 25/12/2025 19:36

Oh @Taysonic I'm so sorry you're going through this over Christmas (or any time). Spotting can be really normal, but obviously bleeding is the last thing you want to see when you're pregnant. I'll be keeping everything crossed that it's nothing serious and your little miracle is safely growing like it should be.

Today has been really hard for me. I've found it so difficult trying to act happy in front of everybody while I'm going through another chemical pregnancy. This time last year I was so certain I'd have a baby in my arms this Christmas! But the hardest day is over now and I'm hoping that I'll be going into the new year feeling positive and hopeful.

Sending love to everyone today! And I hope you've all had a great day however you've spent it. ❤️

RaspKitty · 26/12/2025 07:21

Hey everyone, currently 9 DPO on cycle 4. Still have everything crossed that I could be lucky this month, but have no symptoms at all - except my husband thinks my breasts look bigger (not sure that’s even a pregnancy sign). It would be an amazing start to the New Year

Blondepeach · 26/12/2025 10:43

@Taysonic keeping everything crossed for you that it is just a bit of spotting 💝which as we know can be completely normal, but after losses it so hard to stay positive.

@charlzz Sorry you’ve been struggling, it can be so hard to stay strong especially during holidays/family events when all you want to do is fall apart and shut yourself away.

Little update from me: So I finally have ovulated today on cycle day 23, confirmed with OPK and my bbt graph today. I’m not liking that my ovulation seems to be creeping later and later, but I know it can be a number of things. It’s making the months drag and now I feel like it’s forever until I will be taking a test! Only positive thing is that we’ve DTD a lot this week, more because I kept thinking I would ovulate the following day - so hoping that’s us covered. Attaching my bbt chart if anybody is interested - also would love to know if anybody ovulates a little later in their cycle?

I'm 9dpo too.

I was determined to take the chill approach to TTC until the new year, basically no opk or testing in any shape or form just track cm like usual and see what happens... But apparently I'm incapable and tracked using opk this cycle and now I'm 9dpo and have already done hcg tests this morning and yesterday morning. Its obviously stark white as it's too early and I've never gotten even a faint line before 10dpo before so I don't know why I'm doing it to myself 🙈

Sending love and keeping everything crossed for a Christmas miracle for you @Taysonic 🫂

Fullofconfusion · 26/12/2025 16:40

@Blondepeachi ovulate later in my cycle. Usually between day 19-day 21 although the last cycle was a bit haywire as it was super short and I’m not sure what went on. I think I still ovulated on day 19ish but then my cycle was only 25 days. Very odd. Do you have longer cycles? Apart from last months weird one my cycles are usually 30/31 days rather than 28.

I’m currently cd13 and still sticking with no proper tracking this month and trying to take the chilled approach.

Hope everyone had a nice/peaceful Christmas

Janey3090 · 27/12/2025 09:06

9/10 DPO and negative tests, just don’t feel pregnant either. Can’t stop crying - especially as there was a pregnancy announcement at family Boxing Day yesterday too 💔

Taysonic · 27/12/2025 11:50

No Christmas miracle for me. Held off doing any testing until this morning. Hcg is definitely dropping so its another loss.

We're heartbroken and tired and angry. And just... It's just so bloody cruel isn't it?

Really not sure where I stand now. Whether I can do this to myself again. I wish to god I was younger. I wish time was on my side. I wish taking a break felt like an option.

SausageRoll90 · 27/12/2025 12:04

I'm so sorry @Taysonic 🫂 that's really hard. Sending so much love

I'm out - af arrived this morning at 10dpo so my LP is still too short at 9days. I think I'm guna ask for some bloods to check my progesterone and see about adding some in post ovulation.

I'm so sorry @Taysonic- so unfair. Sending 🫂 xx

daisy2025 · 27/12/2025 14:11

So sorry to hear this @Taysonic 😔

@Janey3090 sorry that sounds so difficult 😢

@SausageRoll90 sorry AF has shown up. I usually have a 7/8 day luteal phase and for a few months tried soy isoflavones which actually extended it to 10/11, but I had spotting from 8dpo. I’ve finally been prescribed progesterone to try this cycle and hoping it helps. Hope you’re able to get it too

@Blondepeach From the sounds of it you should have it covered! I usually ovulate around CD20 so a bit later than most. This cycle I’ve actually got my peak today which is CD17

lepoissonM · 27/12/2025 15:12

Oh @Taysonic I am so sorry. I’m travelling home today but even that isn’t enough to distract me from my sore boobs and eternal optimism. I really try never to test before AF (Monday) but I might tomorrow just to stop hoping!

Utardelis · 27/12/2025 16:27

@Taysonic so sorry

Utardelis · 27/12/2025 16:33

Can I ask peoples experiences with LH testing/CM and ovulation day?!

my general pattern is around day 15 I start to get a rise in LH, day 16 get my peak so premom puts my ovulation as day 17

this month i started on the evening of day 16 with strong ovulation pains which lasted about 24 hours so felt like day 17 was probably the day

Today is day 18 what I thought was 1dpo and I have had A LOT of ewcm this afternoon - is it possible im ovulating later than I think? Not sure if its worth mentioning I had a MMC back in September and cycles since have looked a little different so not sure if thats having an effect.

We only DTD CD 12, 15 and 17 this month so not holding out much hope but just be good to know other peoples experiences for next month!

Thank you for this - how did you get the progesterone? Was it through the GP?

Yes my GP prescribed it but only after the fertility consultant I saw for my hycosy sent them a letter requesting it. My GP has been unsure about it as she doesn’t think a short luteal phase is an issue so wanted a second opinion from the consultant.. this might just be my GP however so defo give it a try🤞🏼

Allmywishcometrue · 27/12/2025 19:26

@Taysonic I am so sad for you. Life sucks sometimes. Remind me, have you seen a fertility specialist to investigate what is happening?

Big hugs for everyone who had AF arrive.

I really hope 2026 is a lucky year for all of us.

I have started the ovulation tests again, even if I will probably not try an IUI this cycle as I have a dr appointment on the 16th of January so unless I have a 50 days cycle again, I'll have to wait fo next cycle. But I test anyway to keep an eye on things.

I feel weirdly unmotivated to start testing again, then trying a new cycle. It was nice not to worry about ttc for a bit if I am honest.

Mentally, I feel positive for a while then I suddenly spiral down the "what if it never works, this can't be my life" hole.

I have a week off coming, I will use it to restart eating helthy and moving, but more importantly get in a better head space.

It is possible for us too. We CAN see a positive. We will!

lepoissonM · 28/12/2025 07:37

BFN this morning so just need AF to start so we can move on

@Fullofconfusion I haven’t had longer cycles in the past (usually on day 16/17 of a 30 day) but the last few months it’s gotten later. Last month I ovulated on day 21 and then came on my period on day 29 (which at the time I first thought that it was implantation bleeding - oh how I was wrong!). Going to get back into take Myo Inisotol so support my hormones, as I was taking it previously but have not the last few months - have you taken that supplement before?

Blondepeach · 28/12/2025 10:33

Thinking of you @Taysonic 💕😞
