Thanks @Iris2024 Just started my period and it’s a day or two early to rub it in. Quite sad this month, it means that if we manage to have another now they will be 4 school years apart which seems a huge gap. I never did go back to GP and complain that they refused to offer any testing. Considering a private HyCoSy this month. Should also probably have an AMH level check. I’ve been avoiding that as I’m not sure I want to know! So yeah feeling a bit disheartened today.

Marvelftw · 30/11/2025 07:56

Hey girls, I think I remember a lot of you from the August thread. So sorry that we’re all still here!

SausageRoll90 · 30/11/2025 10:13

Thank you for this @Iris2024 it's lovely to have a little community for this rollercoaster of a journey starting or growing a family 🩷

@overwork sorry AF came early..a proper salt in the wound situation. How long have you been TTC? As I'm new here, what happened with the tests with the GP before? Xx

ThisHangryTiger · 30/11/2025 10:33

Hi all, I've been on previous threads but took a break. CD2 today and cycle 13/14? Been for tests and except my age they say it should just take time. Haven't had tubes tested but I've had chemicals and no complications that would affect them. DH is awaiting his results, but a private (albeit off the internet test) said he was fine. Wishing lots of luck for that this is our month xx

Iris2024 · 30/11/2025 11:34

Welcome ladies ❤️

@overwork I’m so sorry AF has arrived. We are away to cabin this week and that’s when AF is due for me. I had a hycosy last month and this is my first cycle since so we will see how it pans out for me.

@Marvelftw I remember you my love ☺️ welcome! Lovely to have you here but bittersweet that we are here. This is my first cycle since the chemical that I’ve had peak so I’m praying for a miracle ✨ Hope you’re okay.

@SausageRoll90 Welcome darling! It is lovely that we all have a place to come to every month and stay on the journey together!

@ThisHangryTiger I remember you lovely, welcome and let’s hope this is a lucky thread for us all 🤍🤍

Hey everyone! been so quiet on the thread but I do pop on now and again. Currently 5dpo cycle 13. But not very hopeful. I don't think we will get a positive pregnancy test again without some help.
Had a private consultation at CRP clinic in Epsom last week. We came out nearly 3k lighter 😟 I have had all the testing for NK cells. Had to go back to GP to get more up to date tests done. We are back at the clinic on the 9th for the results. Partner also needs to do a DNA fragmentation test. It's such alot to get our heads around xx

Marvelftw · 30/11/2025 12:34

@Iris2024 I remember when you went though that chemical- heartbreaking. Glad to hear you’ve hit peak again. I’m doing ok thanks, bit frustrated that I’m now on cycle 6 and nothing has happened but all the testers we’ve had back have been promising. Am just waiting for my gynecologist appointment in May but might go private if I don’t conceive soon.

@overwork @fullofconfusion @janey3090

Thanks so much for the add @Iris2024 definitely glad to have a group like this to talk in.

I came off my progesterone yesterday, now just waiting for AF to arrive. I’ve felt really sad this cycle, suddenly very aware that this is the last try of the year! Plus it would now be 4 school years between them and my DD.

However, a BFP over Christmas would just be the best gift ever. Here’s hoping for that for as many of us as possible! Xx

ttcnumerodos · 30/11/2025 13:30

Hello, this is a lovely idea, hope it's ok to join. I recognise a fair few names. We started trying Aug 24, had a miscarriage at March this year and nothing since. Had a hycosy a few weeks back, all looked normal and DH is booked in for SA next week. CD 14 today and my LH levels look like they are rising but dtd is a bit tricky at the moment as we're staying with my parents (and sharing a room with DS 🥴) after a fire at our house 😞. Hopefully due to move into rented accomodation soon so normal activities can resume 🤣

Wishing you all so much luck and baby dust, so grateful for this space and lovely gals to talk to xx

Allmywishcometrue · 30/11/2025 13:30

Hi everyone,

Can I join?

I am on day 4 of my 2WW after an IUI and I didn't know time could go so slowly 😄.

I am so sorry to hear about all your struggles. I am crossing everything I have to read a lot of good news soon

PearOpal · 30/11/2025 14:04

Hi all, checking in CD 4. I definitely recognize some of your names - sending everyone baby dust this month and praying for some Christmas miracles!

overwork · 30/11/2025 15:01

Thanks everyone, hi @SausageRoll90I saw a nurse at my GP because I’ve been trying for about 8 months and I’m over 35. Some lovely people on here found NICE guidance and which said I should have been offered further testing but they said I was ineligible for tests as I’m ineligible for IVF (which I’m aware of and tbh I wouldn’t put me/us through that anyway). But if there’s something simple stopping us from conceiving we might be able to sort it, and if there’s no chance of me conceiving I’d also like to know so that we can get on with our lives. I have a brilliant 2 year old and another would be the icing on the cake

7nationbaby · 30/11/2025 18:38

Hello everyone! After 9 months tracking, and 2 mcs this year I’ve only gone and done a cheapy test strip at 9dpo and have a faintest of squinters. It is so faint it doesn’t even show up on the camera, but it came up immediately and it’s definitely there

Checking in- I am CD3 and should be ovulating some time around the 12th which means my next period will be due on boxing day (fun!). It's my 4th cycle of TTC my first. I am hopeful for all of us trying this next month! ❤️

Allmywishcometrue · 30/11/2025 19:55

@7nationbaby I see the line!

Oh gosh yeah I definitely agree that you should be able to have tests @overwork even if you aren't eligible for NHS IVF. It's not really the point is it, and also I imagine you would still need the tests if you wanted to pursue IVF privately.

I get the wanting answers so you can make some decisions kinda situation tho. It is frustrating for sure.

Ahhh I have a brilliant 2yr old too 🥰 he's the best and I would love for him to have a sibling... We'll see what the next year has in store for us.

CD1 for me today - which is ok as I didn't expect anything else. I have however bought some opk tests to maybe think about starting this cycle to see if my cm tracking matches up with a LH surge/peak.

Hopeful1994 · 01/12/2025 09:27

Hi all - we are on cycle 3 (2 of tracking) ttc number 3. So not long - CD1 today.
DD1 is 12 now and was a happy accident when I was just 18 and was conceived as soon as I had the implant removed after problems with it. DD2 is 2 and was also conceived within a month of having my implant out. I stopped the progesterone only pill in the middle of October and had a first period at the beginning of November. I always bled regularly on the pill so was still ovulating. Tracked last month and ovulated around cd15 (confirmed with BBT) but no luck! Ready to try again this month 🤞🏼 been stalking all these threads for the past month. Loving seeing peoples BFPs. I did get a bit obsessed with testing over the last week (wouldn’t like to say how much I spent on tests 😬)

LuckyDuck93 · 01/12/2025 10:33

Hi Ladies,
Just moving over from the November thread & into our 18th cycle of ttc our first, how draining! Although i'm in that lovely hopeful stage of being CD10 so i'll take that feeling whilst it lasts!
Hope everyone is doing ok and we all get some lovely news for christmas ❤

Taysonic · 01/12/2025 10:53

Hi all! Thanks for setting up the new thread @Iris2024 - love the name. <3

Like others have said, it's nice to see familiar names but also, very much wishing we weren't still here.

@overwork - I know it may feel disappointing to have a bigger age gap. If it helps, my son will be at least 10 years old if I am lucky enough to have a second. That feels like a HUGE age gap, but there are a lot of positives in that too. Ultimately, whenever our families change and evolve (sometimes in the ways we don't necessarily plan for or see coming), the idea of it can be harder to get your head around than the reality. I definitely never imagined myself getting divorced. Never imagined I'd be actively trying to get pregnant with someone new... but here I am! And whilst it's not something I'd have ever hoped for or planned for, I feel very lucky and happy to be in the position I am. However your family grows and whatever time it happens, I know you'll feel just as lucky and happy too. Even if it's different to what you had planned or expected.

Keeping fingers crossed for you @ThisHangryTiger! Good news that test results are looking good - hope this is a good month for you guys.

@7nationbaby I can see that line too! Keep us updated... hopefully it just continues to get stronger and more obvious and gives you that reassurance. Fingers crossed for a super sticky bean!

And hello @LuckyDuck93, lovely. We're around about same point in our cycle - I'm CD14 but I do ovulate a bit later than normal so these next few days will be key. Going to give it our all this week...! God speed to you guys - have fun!

Biscuitbaby2218 · 01/12/2025 11:02

Hi ladies ! I remember some of you from the October chat 🎃

today is CD 15 for me, I used opks this month. I gave up using them previously because my pcos made me have false spikes and it was stressful rather than helpful. However I’ve since gotten better control over my pcos and my cycles are a lot more regular so I thought it might be worth a shot !

all that being said I got a ratio of 1.74 on the premom app this morning ! Which is the highest it’s been so It’s looking positive 🤞🏻

wishing you ladies all the luck in the world this cycle! It would be lovely if we could get some positives just in time for Christmas !
