@Taysonic I’m really sorry to hear about your loss, I can only imagine how emotionally draining it must feel. I often fall into the same boat of wishing I could have started this journey sooner but we can’t change the past can only look forwards to the future. Take extra care of yourself today.

I am 8DPO and have my usual cramping so that makes 7 cycles of nothing. Don’t even know what to make of this journey anymore. I’m really hoping for a better 2026 and can’t see how it could be much worse than this year really! I’ve had fairly sore nipples since yesterday but I’m thinking it’s probably as a result of the progesterone I’ve started taking this cycle. I’m hoping it will start working in extending my luteal phase soon

12DPO today. Had spotting the last 2 days but nothing so far today so looks like AF is on the way 🥺 got a AF feeling belly. We put our baby blanket wrapped under the tree. Hope it brings us a blessing. Feel so sad going into new year. Hope you all had a good Christmas even though we are in the trenches of TTC.

@TaysonicI’m so so sorry. I also don’t have age on my side (I’m 40) so also feel that I don’t have time to waste. I’m not sure of your full story with previous losses but I hope you find some peace with whatever choice you make. Sending love, be kind to yourself.

@BlondepeachI've not taken that before. I’m currently only taking folic acid and vitamin D. I did previously take CoQ10 but ran out earlier this month and haven’t replaced it as yet. It’s a minefield knowing what to take! I know lots of people have recommended the It Starts with the Egg book for supplement suggestions. Have you read it? I had no idea about any of this before my first loss.

In the spirit of a more positive January I have just ordered a set of OPKs. Casual hasn’t worked so time to get serious!

@Marvelftw is this your first cycle on progesterone and are you mainly taking it to extend your luteal phase? I’m probably going to start it tomorrow evening (if I see a rise in my temp tomorrow morning) for the first time and not sure what to expect

@Iris2024 we also put our baby blanket under the tree again this year 🤞🏼 fingers crossed we all get the news we’ve been hoping for in 2026

@daisy2025 I'm gonna be honnest, progesterone made me fart... something scary lol. It also helps with digetsion for sure. Lol.

It also give some symptoms similar to early pregnancy so it's good to know to avoid getting excited for nothing.

It also made the cat at work obsessed with me so that was nice 😁

@daisy2025 Yes it is. I went to a private gyno and she said that extending my luteal phase would be good to give an embryo a longer time to implant. My luteal phase is currently 10 days so it’s borderline ok but could be better. I’ve also done a hormone test over one cycle which showed that my progesterone levels drop off a lot faster than ideal too. Do you know how many dpo you are?

@Allmywishcometrue my hands have started peeling in my palms and I’m wondering if it could be the progesterone causing it. I’m due to stop taking it in a few days if I don’t catch so I guess I’ll be able to tell then!

@Allmywishcometrue omg 😅 I’ve heard it can mess with your digestion and mine isn’t great as it is so should be fun lol. Thank you for the heads up, exciting starting something new but also nerve wracking

@Marvelftw oo interesting about the hormone test showing your levels drop fast, pretty sure that’s what’s happening to me. Was that done privately? It’s good info to know so hopefully the progesterone will help with that 🤞🏼 I think I ovulated today so if I get a bbt spike tomorrow I’ll take that as 1dpo, if it’s still high on Tuesday I plan to start the progesterone that evening

There are so many of us though, you are most certainly not alone and there's everything to hope for with the new year coming. I have AF now, I knew it was coming though as I tested early to seenid I could drink over christmas

@daisy2025 Yes I did pay to have it done privately, it was called the Dutch hormone test. It was interesting because it showed my levels started high but then dropped low which is something the typical fertility bloods wouldn’t have caught. How much progesterone have you been prescribed? I’ve been given 200 mg so starting on the lower side.

Still waiting on AF (due tomorrow) and very much in my own head! FRER yesterday was very clearly negative but still I hope… I really need AF to show so I can move on!

You never know @lepoissonM you’re not out until AF arrives. Keeping everything crossed for you. CD16 here. My Flo app says ovulation tomorrow. Not tracking with LH strips this month but my body tells me I’m not due to ovulate yet. It’s usually day 19/20 but I think my app is thrown off after my super short last cycle.

AF arrived today… 🥺 I feel like giving up as it hurts so much but know I need to keep going 🫶🏽

@Taysonicgirl im sorry 💔 how much more hope and heartache can someone take. Just snatched away each time. Just remind me as I've not been very present on these forums. How many losses have you had now? Have they all been early and do you have any children? X
Im just wondering if it may be an immunology issue and causing a problem during implantation. Ive recently had tests for this.. for NK cells x

It is so hard, we started trying in April - caught in August and lost 🥺 the next two months after were all messed up. Been about 8 months. We tried for 6 months beginning of 2024 too.

AF still not here, just spotting. FFS

@Marvelftw They’ve given me 400mg x2 a day which I’m starting tomorrow. How many DPO are you?

Very faint line this morning. Probably a bit too faint for being a day late for AF so time to watch and wait. Not getting excited yet!

Eeeek! Tentatively keeping my fingers crossed for a super sticky bean and some reassuring line progression over the next week.

I’m CD18. No sign of ovulation at all. Still not testing but no EWCM. I’ve had a bit of a crampy stomach for a few days but I’ll be honest, I think it’s due to Christmas overindulgence 🙈
