I did, and it’s very clearly negative. I think I would be showing as positive by now (11 DPO) even if very faint. So yesterday’s test was a duff!

Sorry for the line confusion @overwork and I’m sorry @charlzz that must be so difficult for you. I am probably somewhere around 5DPO and trying very hard to ignore this and not test early. Easier said than done!

@charlzz I don't want to give any false hope but is there any chance you could have ovulated later than you thought? I know it must be an awful horrible time to be going through at the moment considering what you've previously experienced, but maybe give it a couple of days and see in which direction things are heading? I do think it's so easy to compare our lines and progression to others on here and compare your own to the average, but our bodies are all different and there's always examples that don't follow the average progression. I'll try and keep some hope for you, but also here if you need to talk things through and want a sympathetic ear.

@overwork again, I know yesterday's line would have given you some hope, but I always think: you're not out completely until AF shows. I'll still keep fingers crossed for you.

I'm about 7dpo, cycle 4 for us. I keep flitting between feeling hopeful and also feeling anxious thay I'll be sad over Christmas if I can feel my period arriving. I know it's still early days for us. Wishing positives for all waiting for them this month ❤️

Keeping all fingers crossed for you @LoopyLeela - do you have a date in mind when you think you've do a test or will you wait for if you miss your period? Christmas adds a bit of a weird additional pressure, doesn't it?

Yesh it does! I guess we just feel like everything should be perfect at Christmas.but sometimes our bodies have other plans 😂
I don't usually test until my period is due but this month it's due the weekend following Christmas so I'm going to do an early detection test purely so I can know whether or not I can drink and also to brace myself for my period if it's coming. I think an early detection should work by this coming Tuesday.

Thanks so much @Taysonic Yes I don't know my exact ovulation day. My tests are a little darker today. I've just numbered them as I'm not 100% on my DPO, but I would say I'm absolute minimum 13dpo and maximum 17dpo. I usually ovulate like clockwork on CD15, which would make me 16dpo today, but I didn't do OPKs this month because I was just feeling burnt out (I wish I had done now though!!).

I'm really trying to guard my heart because with all of my chemicals the lines have been faint like this. But the slight progression is giving me a glimmer.

I've rang the clinic to get my progesterone prescription and I'm hoping they will do bloods for me.

This looks really hopeful to me, especially if these lines appeared within a few minutes! I have everything crossed for you!

This does look a little reassuring @charlzz - as horrible as it is, you've just got to give it a bit of time now. But if EPAU or the GP can arrange for some hCG tests that may help give you some much needed reassurance. Keeping everything crossed.

@charlzzeverything crossed for you. The early days are so stressful. Remember that HGC doubles every 48 hours so don’t panic if the line doesn’t darken every single day. As someone who has also had chemicals I totally feel your pain and I know it’s easier said than done to not stress.

@overworkkeep hopeful until AF arrives (or doesn’t!) I’ve not had a line like your line previously so not sure if you had a bad test or what. Very odd.

@LuckyDuck93hope you’re doing ok.

I’m now CD9 after a surprise early period earlier this month which totally took me by surprise as I usually have longer cycles not shorter! Anyway this cycle I’m not doing any tracking with LH strips like I usually do. Having a complete cycle off to see if I stress less and hopefully get lucky.

Thank you everyone. Unfortunately the line has almost disappeared today (although still positive on a digital) so it's my fifth this year now. Heartbroken.

I'm so sorry @charlzz - this is so so cruel. Forgive me as I'm not sure what your history is and what support you've had so far - have these early losses been formally documented with the NHS yet? There are some fertility blood tests they can do ahead of needing to be referred to recurrent miscarriage clinics that may be helpful to identify or rule out any issues.

@Taysonic yeah, I am waiting for my first appointment on the nhs for my recurrent losses. It is on new years eve!

We did start the process privately and had some basic fertility tests which were all fine, and then we paid privately for a sperm dna fragmentation test which we are still waiting for the results from.

Unfortunately, the tests for me have to be done 12 weeks after a pregnancy, so this chemical has set is back another 2 months. 😭

Well my period started today in full force so I had absolutely no idea what that test was playing at on Saturday!

Morning everyone, AF showed up yesterday for me, so going to throw myself a cheese & wine pity party!
So glad for those of you that have positives but also grateful im still going to have some of you all to chat to next cycle.
Im going to take some time away this week, spend it with hubby and try to be appreciative for the life we have even though this year hasnt been what we’d hoped!

@charlzz sorry to res your update, I cant imagine how frustrating and upsetting it must be to go through the same thing so many times in a year. The good thing is it sounds like you're already well in the process of it being looked into, I bet it's not.lomg before you get some answers now. Hoping it's all.positive for.you now though.

I'm about 9/10 DPO now and starting to get my usual signals that AF is on her way. Itching (I always get this weirdly) and what feels like very mild cramps. Sigh. I didn't think I had my hopes up.too high but I am feeling a bit fragile. I think it might also be having rhe chaos of Christmas whirling around me while dealing with this.

So sorry @charlzz - so heartbreaking. I also have my first appointment for recurrent losses next week (2nd Jan - telephone appointment) so I hope you are able to begin the process of getting some answers.

I’m cycle day 21 today and no peak or rise in BBT. I’m getting concerned as I always ovulated like clockwork on day 15/16 but the last few months it has been day 20, it makes the months feel so much longer when ovulation is late, really throws me off and adds to the worry. X

6DPO and feeling a bit low, convinced myself that this month will be a negative again. Also unsure whether to test early this month to get it out of the way, aka mentally prepare myself, or whether to try and hold off this month!

6/7 DPO here and lurching between excited symptom spotting and pessimism. So just the usual really! I was hoping that Christmas week would distract me from the TWW but I think it’s the opposite!

Thought I'd do a little test today at 9DPO, partly to see if I'm allowed a little bit of wine later, obviously came up negative. Another test tomorrow, but don't think it'll show anything. AF due on Saturday. Hope everyone is holding up ok and have a good Christmas 🎄🎁

I may be sticking around here a bit longer... I've had some bleeding this morning and in my heart-of-hearts, I feel like this is likely the beginning of another loss. Playing the waiting game a bit now as I'm only 5weeks+2 so too early for a scan yet.

If this is the end of this one, I'll have to do some soul-searching around whether I attempt to go again. This could be the end of the TTC road for me.

I think I’m out too this cycle- started with my usual pre AF spotting and cramping.
