Hi @CatsMcGoo - welcome! Looks like we're the same DPO. I admire you holding off testing. I hope you get your answer either way soon so you can go into Christmas with answers. I think there definitely feels added pressure this time of the year. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

And welcome @Stardust1204 - I'm so sorry to hear its been a long and difficult journey for you. I'm not an expert at BBT charts at all (I only really did it consistently for one month back in February) but there are obviously quite a lot of variables that can affect body temp. Do you do any LH ovulation testing? I have found that a bit more reliable for myself but it can also be quite stressful. Hopefully someone else here can offer a little more useful insight.

Even with all the best data collection in the world, I think our bodies can still do weird things sometimes! And whilst tracking BBT and doing LH testing can help give you an idea of ovulation, it's still not an exact science. If only it was!

Sorry its been so tough lately. I very much hope you have your own good news to celebrate soon but in the mean time... Make sure you have some nice things planned on/around your period due date. If it is bad news, at least you've still got a nice treat to look forward to. Treat yo self.

HI @Stardust1204 I would probably go with the later of the two dates, there is definitely a much bigger temperature spike!
I know exactly what you mean about Christmas, it just seems to hit harder and there always seems to be lots more pregnancy announcements this time of year too.

Hope everyone is doing ok, i'm 9/10dpo today, naturally have gone from being convinced im pregnant to being convinced i'm out this month..for no actual reason at all! Hormones are a wild ride arent they. According to my apps af due Sun/Mon, which seems sooooo long away!

Oh @LuckyDuck93 keeping all my fingers crossed. We've been in and out of these messages for such a long time now and I'd absolutely love to celebrate with you. This is the HARDEST bit in the TWW. Thinking of you.

As for me... well, definitely pregnant. Took two digitals last night and it's finally sinking in. Trying not to get ahead of myself but also feeling more reassured that we've found out in a 'normal' way this time and there's been no period-like bleeding so far.

@Taysonic so so happy for you! Hopefully the end of the year will keep your mind busy and next thing you know it's 3 weeks latrer!

Hi ladies I know I've been on threads with a few of you in the past. I'm currently TTC #3. I've had a MC in March, a chemical in May and then another MC in November. This time after 2 good scans. I'm back to a negative HCG and am loosely tracking LH to see what is going on and when to expect my first af after the loss. Genetic testing came to nothing as they didn't have enough to test apparently. So basically it's a case of roll the dice again and see what happens. I'm 37 and dh is 45. I'm overweight but besides that and supplements there's not really anything I can change.

I finally got my positive ovulation test yesterday, so was able to do my trigger shot (ovitrelle). Busy couple of days for me and DH then entering the TWW, praying for a positive before the end of the year x

Oh brilliant news @Taysonic this is exciting! Good news is always welcome I think in these circles. I think I probably ovulated yesterday and if so managed to DTD 4, 2 and 1 days prior so I think we’ve done ok. Now for the TWW…!

Well AF showed up this morning so typically I started tracking at what would have been 2dpo. And I was just at the point I was physically ready to TTC so definitely missed this time anyway. Though the bonus is I should now ov over Christmas while dh is off work. Should make it a bit easier!

Emotionally I'm all over the place tbh. Cry at stuff that would ordinarily not bother me. Just worried it's either not going to happen or I'll just have more losses. I think the Tommy's quiz now gives me a less than 50% chance of the next pregnancy working out which is, well, a bit shit.

Just a girl who’s trying not to read too much into the second peak on her bbt graph, who also knows she could take a pregnancy test today but also doesn’t want to see a negative. Is the TWW over yet 😆

Glad you at least know where you are in your cycle @Esssa - I think the not knowing after a MC can sometimes be the most frustrating thing and feeling like your own body is a complete mystery.

@LuckyDuck93 Eeeeeeek....! At this point, I genuinely think I may be even more excited than you if you are pregnant this cycle...! Second rise does look promising so keeping all fingers crossed. I admire your ability to hold out and wait to test until you'll definitely get a definitive answer either way. I tested early this cycle and had about 4 days of thinking I could see a line but wasn't quite sure...!

Congrats to all the positives on this thread so far! @Iris2024 i totally think you should keep this thread going until it’s full and not make a new one next month, I always quite like seeing the chunkier threads where people really get to build up a community with each other.

Hope everyone’s ok and Christmas preparations are going well. I recently had some tests back which suggest I’m quite low in progesterone after I ovulate so I’m going to start taking supplements for that to hopefully give any fertilized embryos a better chance to implant. I’ve also begun running again and am trying to be more conscious of what I’m eating, taking a few new supplements. I’m hoping this will all be worth it and I’ll get my sticky bean soon!

@overwork I't's hard to tell, I didn't know uneven lines could mean false positive. I would definitely test again. Fingers crossed for you

That’s a tough one to tell, because the line does vary in colour but goes all the way through. How soon after did you take the pic? Are you going to test again tomorrow? X

Thanks both! Line came up well within the timeframe but I took the photo about 30 mins later. I will test again tomorrow. I had a similar palaver in Sept, I tested positive on 2 different tests one day but it faded the next and that was that. I was determined not to test early again and put myself in that position and yet here we are!

I am probably going to bring the mood down though. I'm around 15dpo, and had super super faint lines on my tests this morning (the kind that aren't visible on camera) so I confirmed this afternoon on a super sensitive digital (that only requires 10hcg). The lines are far too faint for 15dpo, and look exactly how all my other chemicals have, so I'm ringing in my fifth chemical in 10 months, just before Christmas.

Not going to lie, I'm a mess!
