@Blondepeach yes we're ttc our first, currently 18 months in and really feeling it! Although we have been referred for to the infertility clinic which is both reassuring and horrible at the same time, I kind of told myself that I'd go to the drs, find nothing wrong and fall pregnant whilst awaiting the investigations..that never happened! Definitely agree with the loneliness, one of the loneliest things i've ever done to be honest!

@Taysonic every month I give myself the "when will I learn talk"..im hoping one month I will indeed learn..but after 18 months I'm starting to think thats not going to happen 😅nothing wrong with a bit of hope though!

No problem at all. I am doing it solo as I realised I was running out of time. I did try with my ex partner a while ago and we were exploring getting some help as it was taking a long time

@Blondepeach I’m also trying for my first. Got pregnant earlier in the year but lost the baby. I’m now on cycle 6, 7DPO but tbh I’ve been feeling a lot of my usual AF symptoms and since my period starts on day 11 I’m pretty sure I’m out. Was really hoping I’d get to end the year with some positive news. It’s been a tough time!

Hello all! Can I please join? Currently 1DPO on cycle 1 of TTC baby number 2. Would be lovely to have some people to chat to about it all (particularly in the dreaded TWW!!!)

@Marvelftwmy period usually comes 11DPO too, do you think that’s long enough for implantation to happen? I’m starting to wonder if that’s my issue. I do already have a 2 year old but I think I used to ovulate a bit earlier in my cycle (cycle length has stayed the same)

@overwork Everything I’ve read says it should be fine. I think it’s only if it’s less than 10 that they’re usually concerned. Implantation tends to happen from day 6-10 so I think us being at 11 should be alright.

@overworkI’m the same as you, period comes 11 dpo spotting a day or so before usually. On Cycle 6 TTC no2, like you I think with my DD 4 years ago I ovulated earlier, not too sure as she was unplanned though. Everything I’ve read says if it’s less than 10 days it could be an issue and 10+ days is usually ok, 11+ ideal though

Thanks @ajc1994and @Marvelftw that’s really reassuring. My first was also unplanned so I had none of this! How I would love to be accidentally pregnant again this time!

@Marvelftw Really sorry to hear about your loss 💔 that’s terribly sad.

I had an ectopic in February which put everything on pause until around June, as I had the methotrexate to treat it so you have to wait a few months to try again. I feel the same in regards to potentially moving into the New Year still not pregnant, it feels so much heavier!

But neither of us are officially out yet, so let’s try to keep the positive spirits up 💐

Gosh isn't TTC just a permanent waiting game, i'm CD13 today, ovulation usually CD14 (occasionally 15) not even a hint of a peak on my LH strips, v annoying because if ovulation gets much later AF will be due on christmas day 😅

Hey @LuckyDuck93 - I am also on around month 18 ttc, for me I feel it’s gone really slow but really quick at the same time somehow.

hopefully your peak comes in the next day or so, mines been a little later (around day 19) the last couple of months when previously was day 15/16 🤞🏼

like yourself I’ve been referred and waiting for an appointment, mine is for the recurrent loss clinic as I’ve had x3 chemicals since the beginning of the journey. I got my referral letter finally the other day, which told me it may be a 6 month wait for an appointment. My partner is getting a sperm check next week, all of it makes me nervous! X

I have a referral to the recurrent loss clinic…in June next year. It seems a million years away! Been trying for 2 years now with 2 losses and a chemical along the way.

I feel rubbish today. Got some cramps and LH strips are starting to rise so think ovulation is on the way. I need it to hold off until my DH is home! He’s home tomorrow night so hopefully I don’t get my peak just yet.

Just did a negative early detection test, I know they're not the most reliable so I might try again next week but still feel a bit disappointed.
If it is negative I might dip out for dec/jan as want to enjoy the christmas and new year period without having TTC anxiety

@Blondepeach how long ago did you last get a positive if you don’t mind me asking? I’m on cycle 6 now without anything

No problem at all. My last positive was at the end of August, which was a chemical pregnancy as I actually then came on my period on the day it was due (I had tested around 10dpo) so if I hadn’t tested I actually would not have known.

I believe AF has arrived for me today 😞 so this month is not my month

mindset is definitely a lot better than last month but still struggling to not let it consume me 🥴

Hi, please could I join? I have been lurking for a little while and I decided that if AF came again I would join properly. I am TTC #2, and just starting month 5. I had an ectopic pregnancy before conceiving #1 but both pregnancies were conceived quickly, so I am mildly concerned that I’m getting a little old for it to happen easily this time! Trying to remain relaxed and just roughly track my cycle, but we will see how that goes…

Hey ladies ! In need of a little help working out dpo. I got my LH peak of 1.74 on CD15 at 9:30am, by 6pm on CD 15 my ratio was back low at 0.59.

I felt ovulation cramps happen that evening (CD15) at around 10pm. According to pre mom it puts my ovulation on CD 16 but I feel I ovulated on the evening of CD 15 ! Today is CD19 so what dpo am I?

I’ve only just started using opks again after I last tried them 5 years ago so I’m a little rusty 😂

In all honesty, I'd just err on the side of caution and treat CD16 as ovulation day. Unless, there's anything riding on it (e.g. if you're doing any progesterone tests or anything). Reason I say this, is that I'd rather be a day behind dpo than a day in front for testing purposes as it reduces the risk of testing too early and being disappointed.

hi ladies, hope it’s ok if I join. I ovulated a few days ago and am 2dpo today. Had a chemical last cycle and another in June. Really scared of it happening again.

we only managed to dtd once this month, 2 days before O. I hope there’s still a chance x
