@SureLook 🤞I think the progesterone and aspirin has helped me get this far. I did get the drug payment card but still have to pay 80 euro a month for that and the aspirin. The pharmacist said I can enter the receipts on my revenue and get some money back. If you get the progesterone invest in ugly pants. I went to dunnes and bought a pack of giant ugly ones 😂

LaurLou22 · 29/08/2025 11:28

I’m so confused and sad :( could yesterday have been my peak day? Is it even possible to ovulate with such low levels? I don’t understand 😭 last month my peak was at CD15 and was 1.68

@Iris2024 did you do a CB two days ago? You could compare to that one rather than yesterday as it wouldn't be enough time for progression.

@ForGiddyDreamer yeah, the drug payment scheme caps it at €80 a month. Do you know how much it would be a month without the scheme out of curiosity?
Haha, thanks for the tip. I've heard it gross 😂

@LaurLou22 would you normally peak in CD14? The lighting is different in the photos so that can affect how it reads. Have you any other signs of ovulation?

Iris2024 · 29/08/2025 11:59

@SureLook it’s roughly same as Tuesday. Yesterday was lighter than today. I’ve ordered some more frers as they showed progression from Tuesday to Thursday.

Photo is clear blue Sunday to Tuesday left then Wednesday to today right.

First response Tuesday and yesterday

Just hoping and praying but the lines haven’t disappeared and no spotting or bleeding. Hope I don’t.

@SureLook no idea without the card. I guess I was lucky the pharmacist did an emergency card the first time and it just cost the 80 euro. I had thought it was capped at 80 for the year 😅My sister works for the NHS up the north and couldn't believe the price! I haven't taken my aspirin yet this morning because I've been retching. I didn't get to the nausea stage before the mc in Feb.

@Iris2024 no cramping and no spotting are good signs. Your tests also haven't gotten any lighter. It's so difficult that it's wait and see at the moment but there are positive signs there today ❤

LaurLou22 · 29/08/2025 12:37

@SureLookyeh I would normally peak around CD14 / 15 I think. It’s hard for me to measure other signs like EWCM due to being blind, that’s why adding the tests into the app kind of does it for me but there has to be an element of trust on technology haha. I’ll keep testing, I just feel a bit baffled!

SureLook · 29/08/2025 13:41

@Iris2024 I was in the same situation as you with the faint lines on the cheap tests. But the FRERs were much stronger so I relied on them instead. What Giddy said is good advice!

@ForGiddyDreamer I know, we get crucified down here. It's a joke. Ah, you poor thing with the retching. I've had a little bit of nausea this week which I've never had before while pregnant.

@LaurLou22 ah, ok. That does make things a little more difficult. Good idea to keep testing. If your lines keep going going down then you'll know for sure.

It’s horrible place to be as I haven’t got excited yet and don’t know if I can because of these tests 😢

SureLook · 29/08/2025 14:31

@Iris2024 I know, its so shit. Unfortunately it's just a case of wait and see. Any luck finding somewhere that might do HCG bloods?

No darl, the one I was sent on here they don’t do it in my area. That would really help me to know it’s progressing. A lot of people probably think I’m crazy as I have lines on a test but I can’t help it.

Definitely not crazy!

Now that probably is a bit crazy! But it’s hard not knowing what’s going on in your own body.

it blows my mind that some people just have sex once and that’s that, without having to think about all this stuff!

Same back at you, not crazy at all my love!
Crazy is me sat here constantly crying when I did a test this morning and it’s positive but I can’t shift the feeling that something could be wrong. I need one of those tests you just attached but see if HCG is rising

No I’d be the same!

I’ve tested again and it’s still the same, basically BFN but with a slight shadow (that’s more visible in photo than real life, which says something tbf), still only 10dpo so could change in next two days but I feel like chances are slim now.
feel slightly less disappointed as know I’ve got letrozole to try next and maybe that’ll be the key - trying to remain hopeful. I’ll probably still have a good cry and grump when my period arrives though! Haven’t been drinking lately so if BFN tomorrow I’ll treat myself to some wine 🍷

10DPO still so early as you know, my 10DPO was literally a slight shadow if that at the bottom of the line. Wine sounds good ❤️ got to pamper and look after ourselves at the moment.

amey44 · 29/08/2025 16:04

I’m starting to get so nervous now i’m CD 23 and have had back ache all day and obviously I can’t stop overthinking/symptom spotting😣 I just want this so badly i’ve been much more relaxed this cycle and didn’t track anything so have no idea how many dpo I am or when i’m “allowed” to test i’m trying to wait to at least CD 28 but I can’t help but convince myself I am in the meantime 😬

So true, and yes we absolutely do ❤️

@Iris2024 you're not crazy. It's TTC that makes us crazy. It is all consuming. It's hard to shift through feeling that something is gonna go wrong.

@Muddysocks1 also, not crazy. I would call that efficient actually 😂 definitely treat yourself to the wine if AF shows. And I'd say the Letrozole will help 🤞🏻

@amey44 what CD would AF normally arrive? It's so hard not to symptom spot!

OP posts:
Marvelftw · 29/08/2025 19:56

AF arrived for me today so I’m officially out. Onto cycle 3, I’m going to make a September thread.

SureLook · 29/08/2025 20:08

@Marvelftw sorry to hear that ❤️ I'd love to follow along in the September thread. Will you link it in here when you can?

I’m honestly not sure as my cycles are usually between 30-34 days but last month I had a 38 day cycle!😣I don’t feel very luteal phase ish other than having fatigue so I really hope i’ve ovulated earlier than last month because 38 days was brutal!

SureLook · 30/08/2025 06:17

@amey44 I'd say waiting until CD28 is a good idea to test. The symptoms could be PMS or early pregnancy. It's so hard to know!
