Hi all! Hopping on to say hello. Not currently able to actively TTC (following intervention for ectopic in July) but just keeping in touch and wishing you all well in your journeys until I'm able to get back on the horse (so to speak) end of October.

I'm due on today. So hoping AF doesn't make an appearance. But if it does joining in early ! Cycle 9 for me

AF has just finished so I’m just about to gear myself up for month seven of trying. Last month we both had a chest infection so it was a bit of a missed opportunity. I did manage to get my bloods done though so hoping there is some information coming my way soon.

September is going to be our lucky month!

@Wirelessbird thanks Hun, AF arrived this afternoon so out for this cycle, I had so many things making me think this time was it! But nevermind! Back on it I guess! Do track just ovulation and BBT or anything else out of interest? Fingers crossed for September 💖

Following along. I managed to catch in the previous thread but I'd like to hang around due to previous losses and to follow all your journeys ❤️

I’m following along in this thread if okay as I’m pregnant and found out last Saturday and positive on a digital but unfortunately my tests are not progressing. I’m at a point now where I’m just waiting to bleed as I’ve lost hope and tests are definitely lighter. It’s really hard to accept as we have a daughter already and we tried so hard for this one but looks like not meant to be. I’m 42 on Tuesday when it’s my birthday. How cruel if I miscarry now.

Don’t know what to do with myself now and hopefully bleeding starts soon so I can try and move on as this doesn’t look like a viable pregnancy now 😢 @SureLook thanks for checking in and asking about me on other thread.

@Iris2024 aww I'm so so sorry, I really am. How many dpo are you now?

12dpo so expect I’ve got two or three more days before AF and I can start new cycle. Will start letrozole on CD2 - seeing as not pregnant I’m counting down the days to that now

@Taysonic Thanks for popping by and saying hello :) I know waiting to start TTC after a procedure can bring up a lot of mixed feelings, so hope you’re doing ok

@Wirelessbird I just booked an appointment to get some blood tests done too. Would be useful to get a bigger picture of things. Here here on hoping that September is super lucky for all of us!

im still here just staying in touch with the thread. Have come off my contraception but still no withdrawal bleed so not really in a cycle right now I guess. Been cramping for days so fingers crossed it happens soon and I can then begin a proper

Can I please ask? Partner and I want to keep trying straight away. What is to be expected now with cycle and tracking for a new month once I bleed? To the ladies who have been in this awful situation that I’m going to be in..

When I had the first chemical I started bleeding at 5 weeks, and counting that bleed as a period, my next ovulation was bang on time so we just continued “as normal”.

I have a 4yo daughter starting reception this week so I'm hoping time will go quickly because we are busy, I'm so impatient and the TWW was not fun at all!

@Iris2024 aww, I'm sorry to hear cramping has started. I was really holding out hope for you. Get the chocolate and goodies in and curl up on the couch.
With my losses I counted the first day of bleeding as CD1 and went from there. I waited for a period before trying again but that's just me. The only reason they recommend that is for dating a new pregnancy. But if you don't wait and start trying trying and catch, they'll date from the first day of bleeding of your loss. I hope that makes sense x

Thank you hun, I’ve had no spotting or bleeding yet. What’s the difference between waiting for period and not from first day of loss? Sorry just so I can decide what to do. Hope you’re okay.

@Iris2024 I'm all good, thank you. I think it's just so they can accurately date a pregnancy. So if you wait for your next period they'll date the pregnancy from the first day of your last period. I think they feel there's a bit more uncertainty dating it from a loss whereas a period is more definite.
For my personality type and after the MMC I wanted to wait for my period. I didn't want there to be any wondering about dates or if I was measuring behind. I wouldn't have coped well with that. I need things to be more definite. So it's very much a personal choice when you try again x

I’ve got you lovely so don’t try straight after the miscarriage bleed but the next bleed which would be next period. So much to think about isn’t there.

Hi all, I was around a few threads ago but then took some time away. I'm sorry to hear of all the sad news and sending everyone lots of baby dust.

I've had my referral letter for tests, so that is in November. I'm 9DPO today and DH is on hol so thought I'd have a little go... Nothing was there in the 5 mins so put the test in the bin. Then (maybe stupidly) I picked it back out, maybe 20 mins later and this was on. It's colour and all the way to the bottom although a bit darker at the top. I don't know what to think?! I did just read that colour only ever appears with HCG and just could be super low concentration? Arghh!!!

@Iris2024 yes, that's what the hospital wants you to do. But there's no research that shows more of a benefit between waiting for your period or not. So, for me, it was a personal choice. But I know of people who went again straight away. You do what's best for you x

@ThisHangryTiger hello and welcome back! I can see what you mean on the test. I would be a little cautious as it looks like a little bit of dye run to me. But there is absolutely something there, all be it outside of the time frame. I think all of us have fished a test out of the bin once or twice 🙈 will you test again tomorrow or in a couple of days?
