@Confusedhun hello and welcome! That is confusing alright. It could just be a one off random delayed cycle. Did you start any new supplements this month or anything like that?

hi all, long time lurker & ttc since December last year after MMC.

in a bit of a pickle. CD34 today. Did a clear blue digital ultra early test with FMU this morning said not pregnant. Did test Saturday morning no lines. So confused normally have a 28-29 cycle each month pushing it CD30.

seeing as I did a test that shows up to 6 days before period and it was negative then am I just skipping a period ?

I have pretty regular 28 day cycles but last cycle period came at cd 37 - I kept hoping I was pregnant but no test was positive. That month I had no clue about ovulation so might have just ovulated late (stressful period, I travelled a lot). Do you track ovulation at all?

No new supplements. Haven’t changed anything really. Do you think it’s just a delayed cycle instead of pregnancy?

No just use flo, so weird because I was suppose to use ovulation sticks last month but didn’t end up doing that! Would’ve been so helpful if I did. I don’t know about stress to be honest, I feel like I am always stressed generally but no more than usual, thank you xx did your period come the following month on time ?

Looks like I’m pregnant this time around (cycle immediately following the long one) if all goes well ❤️ I also suspected supplements as I had started pregnacare and know some people have reported longer cycles but really not sure I think sometimes it can be a random one off (very unhelpful when ttc!)

Congratulations love! That’s so great to hear. I’ve never missed a period in my life before so this weird and it’s been 18 years 🙃 x Hope it all goes well!

EmPeEf · 27/08/2025 13:41

@SureLook proper bleeding today and pain so definitely all over. Thanks for checking in.

@SleepySkyRat I’m so sorry, love. I’m right there with you x

SureLook · 27/08/2025 15:17

@Confusedhun it's hard to say since you didn't track ovulation. Did you have any other signs of ovulation?

@EmPeEf aww, I'm so sorry ❤️

SleepySkyRat · 27/08/2025 15:20

@EmPeEf I’m so sorry to hear that. It truly sucks. Just know you’re not alone, and it’s ok to grieve. I’ve spent the day curled on the sofa with chocolate and the dog, make sure to take care of yourself too xx

ForGiddyDreamer · 27/08/2025 17:50

@EmPeEf very sorry to read your update. Take care of yourself xx

Iris2024 · 27/08/2025 18:40

I’m so so sorry @EmPeEf it’s absolutely heartbreaking. Sending love to you too @SleepySkyRat ❤️😩

@SureLook @Mash0917 Im crying non stop. I just can’t help it. My easy at home test was darker than it has been today and my clear blue still has a line and they’re darker than they was Sunday and Monday but I just have a bad feeling and I don’t want to lose the baby. I don’t know if the pregnancy is progressing. When I was pregnant with my daughter I did one cheapie and digital on the same day and that was that. Went to the doctors and she confirmed the pregnancy with a “faint” line but can’t send me for bloods which I’m annoyed with so I’m going to see if the fertility team will. She said there’s some blood in my urine so has given me some antibiotics and said to wait for the midwife to get in touch. I’m shutting myself away even from my partner and I just need to know all is okay! Sorry for rant! My tests from today below…

Iris2024 · 27/08/2025 18:43

Tests from today.. and clear blue from Sunday to today!

@Iris2024 I'm sorry you're so upset. Did the doctor seem concerned with the "faint" line? Why won't she send you for bloods? Good idea ringing your fertility clinic.
There is definite progression on your tests, though. The cheapies are just that, cheap! So I wouldn't rely on them too much.

EmPeEf · 27/08/2025 19:16

Guys, I need help. I’d ordered some more cheapies the other day and thought I’d take one this evening to check everything was done. But there was a faint line still.
I did the last ClearBlue I have and it’s darker than it was yesterday. Do I need to go and get checked out? I thought they’d be blank by now. It’s darker than it was on Sunday when I got my first faint line on the Wondfo.

This is too, Mondays, middle, Tuesday’s and today’s for comparison. Am I still pregnant?

@Iris2024 to be devil's advocate here, might the GP not have did bloods because she doesn't think they're warranted at this stage? I am not dismissing or minimising your concerns (been there myself) but perhaps she isn't concerned about the urine? Did she give you an explanation? Maybe the clinic will be more inclined. Your tests definitely have progression ❤️

Marvelftw · 27/08/2025 19:24

@EmPeEf If you only properly started bleeding today it’s probably going to take some time for the hcg to completely disappear. Maybe monitor and see?

EmPeEf · 27/08/2025 19:41

I’ve been wearing green sized tempos since yesterday evening, so bleeding quite a bit. Why is it darker than yesterday? 😩

ForGiddyDreamer · 27/08/2025 19:47

@EmPeEf I'm sorry you're going through this. Marvel is right that your hcg levels will take time to drop in your urine. They fall quicker in blood as urine is 2-3 days behind. If your bleeding persists and is heavy and the tests darken it might be worth going back to the GP or your local EPU and demand they take bloods to see what's happening.

She just said it’s not something she could do ☹️ My friend made a point about seeing if I could get bloods through the fertility team I’m under, what if they remove me from their care if find out I’m pregnant and then I lose baby.

ForGiddyDreamer · 27/08/2025 21:18

@Iris2024 that's unreasonable of her because bloods is something she could do. I was referred to the fertility clinic and then got my positive. They rang to book me an appointment and I told them I was having hcg blood draws to check viability because I was cramping and spotting. They said to call them back if I needed them. I wonder might the fertility clinic do the same and still see you if things don't go your way? Much less ethically, you could ring the EPU and ask to have bloods done and play up the blood in the urine. But I honestly say that your tests show progression.

SureLook · 27/08/2025 21:45

@EmPeEf I'm sorry you're going through all of this confusion. I think Giddy gave good advice there. Unfortunately it's a case of wait and see ❤️

@Iris2024 you could ring your fertility clinic and explain and see what they say. Is there another private clinic near you that do them? There's a place near me that look after people who are having IVF abroad and they offer HCG bloods to anyone.

OP posts:
peanutForever · 27/08/2025 23:44

@Iris2024congratulations! I defo see test progression there- dont wait on the bloods by the time youve begged them you will easily see test progression which will show your hcg is risiing- grab some cheapies and test one then another 48hrs later, thats gna give u the same answer as bloods hopefully then if you still have concerns you can contact them again

peanutForever · 27/08/2025 23:45

@EmPeEfreally sorry hope u get some answers from recurrent mc clinic, and yes i would wait till youve finished bleeeing to see if you test negative again x

FarAwayBird · 28/08/2025 04:07

Oh @EmPeEf I’m so sorry. It’s so unfair that you’re dealing with this again 😔💔
