So sorry you’re going through this. Fertility is so under-researched in the UK, nobody actually knows what they’re talking about. I think for them to gaslight you and try to tell you that you were never pregnant in the first place is unprofessional and cruel.

With 3 recurrent early losses you should be able to be referred for investigations. My friend had two in a row and when she became pregnant for a 3rd time she went private, they prescribed her progesterone pessaries the day she got her BFP and she was able to sustain the pregnancy full term and now has her healthy rainbow baby.

So update the doctors still won’t give me blood tests as it’s not their procedures. They’ve said speak to the fertility team I’m under and they might do them or if I get cramping pains or bleeding then get back in touch with them urgently. Really????? So as it stands at the moment I’m pregnant! No spotting or bleeding and that will have to do and take it day by day. I’m 4 weeks pregnant tomorrow from LMP. This was my frer this morning so I’ll hold onto hope ❤️

@Iris2024 I’m doing a lot better thanks. Cried a lot yesterday but I think I’ve come to terms with it, and looking forward to trying again. Did take another test this afternoon to check it was negative and it came up with a weird ?evap line (clear blue early response) but it was thinner than the lines I previously had. Not sure what that was about as it was within the 3 mins timeframe but still pretty convinced the other lines I had were legit as it was on two different types of tests and thicker like a proper line before. I’ll probably take one last test tomorrow morning to just confirm.

I’m sorry that’s so frustrating! I like the mantra “today I am pregnant”

@Iris2024 is there any reason why you’re concerned? Your lines look totally fine for your dpo, and if you have no bleeding or cramps then I don’t think you need to worry about anything.

I am sorry you are not getting much support but in case it helps I think your tests look good, the ClearBlue is very similar to how mine looked at your same stage (4 weeks from LMP). Give it a couple more days, sometimes it’s hard to see progression day by day. I’m now trying to wait 48hr between tests

I think I’ve been on these threads for some long TTC over time that I’ve seen so much about chemicals that the easy at home tests I’ve done are not progressing or getting darker at all and the clear blue has got lighter and not darker. It’s crazy as with my daughter I did one IC and a digital on day I found out and that was the only tests I done. I had bleeding on her too and I was calmer than this 😩

Aghh just did one of the FRERs on a ~3 hour hold and it’s sooooo negative! No idea what those silly lines were this morning, evaps maybe! What a bummer!

Oh sorry @Muddysocks1 I confused you, I haven’t tested yet I just meant we were same days PO. I’m worried I’ll get myself into a fizz if I start testing early! The only test I have in the house is the second of the 2 pack I bought when I found out I was expecting my son, and that’s out of date. I’ve just started cramping so I guess my period is close, so might not matter anyway! What is Letrozole?

@olivehush i saw lines on all of those ICs, maybe it’s still early ? Do you have a frer left to test again tomorrow morning? Or will you wait a couple of days?

I’m going to just wait and see for my period I think, or if it gets to cd28 and I can’t help myself 😂 with my last I had symptoms at 10dpo tested and had a faint line, but with my first I had no symptoms at all and tested 5 days after my period was late.

@EmPeEf I'm sorry but I just can't get my head around that. Surely three different brands of tests couldn't have given false positives?? I think that's actually disgraceful that they said that to you. I'm so sorry on top of everything else that the "professionals" are bloody useless. Sending the biggest hugs ❤️

@Iris2024 I'm sorry you're so upset and in limbo. For what it's worth I think your tests look good too. I know you said the CB one is lighter but your FRER is looking good.

Ooh I see - that sounds much wiser than me and a good idea!

letrozole is. Medication that can boost/help ovulation. Consultant thinks our trouble TTC and with the two chemicals is likely to be due to weak ovulation, looks like my eggs are maturing well enough. Trying this for 6 cycles started when my period arrives, I’m looking forward to trying something new

Not yet from me - did another test and couldn’t see much but only 9dpo so still time 🤞🏻

Can’t believe they’ve told you that. I got it in my head that it was me imagining things because my lines were never dark but I got a full negative clear blue test today and it was actually reassuring as the difference was so obvious I knew it wasn’t all in my head.

Please look after yourself, it’s really hard to go through this. Especially if it’s recurring and the drs aren’t helping. I broke down on the phone to the drs when I called to tell them that I no longer needed referral for my pregnancy because I’d had an early miscarriage and to make a note on my record (in case it becomes a recurring thing) and the woman was so blunt and said ‘ok so I’ll put not pregnant’ and that was that. No sort of empathy at all. I just don’t think if you’ve not gone through this journey you can understand the emotional turmoil.

I have to say I feel significantly clearer headed and better now that my brain has come to terms with it and I do think the hormones have settled which has made a huge difference. I think I underestimated the effect of all this crazy hormones have especially when you’re then grieving a loss.

I seem to get very very very faint shadow lines around this time 9-10dpo, not every cycle but often. I don’t think they’re faulty tests etc, because of the pattern in which they happen (as in - it’s not random, if it happens it’s around this time, it’s several tests in a row, and there’s nothing earlier or closer to AF). I’m convinced it must be some issue with implantation - like sperm and egg are meeting, it starts to implant and give of hcg then “fails” very quickly. I’ve had one 5 week pregnancy loss then a more clear 2 days VFL but these seem to happen more often. It’s disappointing because I always feel like it might turn into something then doesn’t.
it’s not really visible in photos and probably less so when the quality changes with upload, but that’s today and yesterday.

@givingitanothergo IC stark white this morning 🤦‍♀️ didn’t even bother with the FRER as it’s like weeing on £5 😂 I obviously ovulated late this month but didn’t catch the egg anyway or I’m pretty sure I’d have at least faint lines by now. Never mind! Just waiting for AF now

@Muddysocks1 your theory could be correct, perhaps you’re catching vvvvvfls on the tail end of a chemical(ish) where it has begun to implant. Actually…that could have been what happened to me this month as surely it’s not a coincidence that I had 3 shadowy lines on different tests, my tap water was BFN…and now nothing but stark white even on the same cheapies as yesterday and a FRER!

I’ve been out of this game for 5 years and forgot how much of a mind fk it all is 😵‍💫

Yeah I think it’s definitely a think!!

A positive spin I guess is that due to chromosomal issues chemicals are common and don’t necessarily mean there’s an issue, they just don’t work out early, and most women probably don’t know. I guess I just worry as we’ve been TTC unsuccessfully for so long (this is cycle 17) that something doesn’t seem to be working 🙈 putting all my hope into letrozole as a way of looking forward 🤞🏻

Also I’ve already wasted so many tests this month! They’re easy at home so cheaper but still pricey if going through them fast

@Muddysocks1can u get some boots first response? I dont think they are evaps or any of your other positives have been either the second one isnt even dry and i see it clear as day (and remember im someone who thinks all lines are evaps to the point where i doubted my own pregnancy for everyone on this group to tell me it wasnt an evap) i am hoping thw letrozole has worked and this is a sticky bean for you!

@ForGiddyDreamer good memory! Yes, my appointment with the EPU is next Thursday, the 4th. Hopefully, if all is well, I'll be starting on the progesterone. How are you doing? That's great you've a scan booked.

Hi @ForGiddyDreamer Thank you for checking in, such a nerve wracking time. I’ve still got a line on clear blue this morning, easy at homes are still a no go and very faint line since the start.
