Hello again 👋 I'm 37 TTC #1. MC in Feb & CP in March. Tested positive on Friday 1st August & waiting the results of my second blood draw tomorrow 🤞

Mash0917 · 08/08/2025 04:10

Thanks for making this thread @SureLook Baby dusts to everyone! <3

DoubleDandelion · 08/08/2025 07:18

4+1 today, I will drop out of this thread now (although probs won’t be able to help myself checking back in to check how you all are!). Really hopeful for you today @ForGiddyDreamer 🤞🏻

Absolute best of luck ladies, lots of baby dust ✨

Muddysocks1 · 08/08/2025 08:25

Hi all 👋🏻 I dipped out a bit from the last thread after a bfn and then had another whole cycle which has just ended in bfn 😥 now onto cycle 17. Waiting for first NHS fertility clinic appointment. I’m TTC no1 and had have two chemicals this year.

Just waiting for period to start, maybe this cycle will be the lucky one 🤞🏻

NiftySheep · 08/08/2025 08:36

Hi all, cycle 2 after MC in June. CD9, just about to start all the BDs so have instructed DH to prepare himself 😅

ForGiddyDreamer · 08/08/2025 09:01

Girls my doctor rang me and it doubled. It was 72 on Tuesday and it was 149 on Thursday. She says given my history we'll take it week by week, to continue the pessaries and aspirin. I "logged" the pregnancy on my app and it says I'm 4+1 today from last date of period so super early still. I'm likewise going to stay on the thread for now. Looking forward to seeing everyone's BFPs this month ❤️

Hi all!

Introducing myself on the new thread (haven't been posting but have been dipping in and out, reading and happy to hear of some lovely BFPs!).

Been TTC my second, my partner's first since February. One miscarriage in March. One PUL/ectopic in July. Currently having to wait three months before TTC again following methotrexate treatment for ectopic. I've found the last month really difficult.

Had my final bloods taken yesterday following a week in Greece for a wedding. Hcg was 1.9 so very very close to 0. It's taken longer than I expected to come down. Think I've finally been discharged and can start retaking folic acid now to build back up my folate levels. Looks like I will be able to TTC again end of October.

Can do second loss blood tests in about 6 weeks. Think they check for pre-diabetes, thyroid issues and... Can't remember what else.

Difficult to know how I'll feel in the future, but... If we were to have a third loss in the future, I can't imagine feeling able to go through it all potentially again. Throwing everything at this... If it ends up in a third loss, I just don't think I could bring myself to try again.

SureLook · 08/08/2025 11:25

@FarAwayBird @DoubleDandelion when I got my BFP in May I hung around too cause I was so invested! It was nice after the loss to just slot back in.

@Muddysocks1 I understand you taking time away from the threads but I'm delighted you're back! Do you have a date for your appointment yet?

@ForGiddyDreamer that's amazing, I'm so delighted for you. You must be so relieved ❤️

@Taysonic it's nice to see you back too. I'm sorry you've been feeling low. I've been finding the last few weeks tough as well with the closer it gets to the MMC baby's due date.
I totally get what you mean about trying again. We've said if we have a third loss we're gonna wait until our appointment with the recurrent miscarriage clinic in March. I can't keep doing this over and over again!

Sorry you’ve had such a difficult journey of it all so far, and having to wait sounds really hard xx

Appt is in a couple of weeks so not long now. Have to admit I’m hanging a lot of hope on it - I really hope I’m not disappointed. At this point I wouldn’t mind if they said we needed IVF, but I’m worried they’ll just say keep trying a bit longer but I’m finding that emotionally really difficult with nothing happening. I did have two chemicals so maybe it’s a numbers game and I need to be patient, but surely something is wrong to both not be able to conceive easily and then the two times (in 16 cycles) that it did to not get past 5 weeks.
I’m hoping they’ll offer a hycosy/hsg or something to check my tubes.
Even though I ovulate regularly, I feel like maybe it’s a weak ovulation and maybe meds could help that 🤞🏻

SureLook · 08/08/2025 14:28

@Muddysocks1 I know what you mean. I'd like to think they'll do something for you. Otherwise what's the point in being referred? And we've all heard the stories of BFPs after a hycosy 🤞🏻

Hey @Muddysocks1 and @Taysonic I’ve been wondering how you were both doing. Good to see you back.

@ForGiddyDreamer that’s great news. I hope the waiting game doesn’t drive you too mad!

Yes definitely!! Almost hopefully is “found” in investigations so it can be treated rather than just unexplained, but we’ll see what happens 🤞🏻

ForGiddyDreamer · 08/08/2025 15:57

Thanks all 😊Yes, relieved that the levels doubled between tues and thurs. Taking that as a 'win' today and that the pregnancy continues. As most of you know, after a few losses you just can't relax into 'I am pregnant, hooray!' mode. I see the doctor next week around the 5 week mark. Using that as my next milestone.

NatalieSF · 08/08/2025 16:58

Hey 👋🏼 we are in cycle 3 of TTC after a 34 week loss in February. CD14 and at peak today. Been taking coq10 and naitre supplements. Received information that I have an under active thyroid so hoping it doesn't effect our chances 🙈

Sending baby dust to all ❤️

SureLook · 08/08/2025 19:17

@Muddysocks1 yes, in a way you'd prefer that something be wrong so that you can treat it rather than unexplained.

@ForGiddyDreamer sounds good. Just take it day by day.

@NatalieSF nice to see you again!

Hi, I'm on cycle 2 of TTC #3, about to start cycle 3. First two cycles ended with chemicals (still waiting for AF to show after this chemical). It took 6 months to conceive my first DD and 9months to conceive my second DD so was never expecting it to be quick this time, but always hopeful. Was particularly disappointed about the chemical this month. Baby dust to all!

StayingHopefulx · 08/08/2025 20:59

Hey everyone, new here but found this so helpful when TTC baby #1. currently TTC baby #2, think we maaaay have just missed the window this month but also unsure, having light cramping today which I remember having soon after conceiving baby 1 but trying not to symptom spot!!! Sending you all baby dust ✨

StayingHopefulx · 08/08/2025 21:16

Just to ask, when do people plan to do tests, how many dpo? I can’t remember how long you have to wait

LilacBow45 · 08/08/2025 23:00

Hi all! First time posting in these TTC threads.

30, TTC #1. We had a MMC in May after unexpectedly finding out we were pregnant. I’ve been on the pill for 8 years so trying to learn my cycle again following that and the MMC.

I’m currently CD 12 and for the first time have positive LH tests and a big fat smiley on clear blue when I should! The last 2 cycles have had my peak 2/3 days before aunt flow had arrived so CD 23 to 26.

SureLook · 08/08/2025 23:43

@justkeepswimming2701 sorry to hear of the chemicals ❤️

@StayingHopefulx hello and welcome! How many dpo are you now? I tend to wait until 12dpo as it's more definite and doesn't give you false hope. I really upset myself before by testing early.

@LilacBow45 hello and welcome! Sorry to hear of the MMC. I was also ovulating later in my cycles after my MMC but it then settled. Delighted yours is the same!
