Im trying to conceive at this ripe old age. Been 3 months so far. Period is due in 13days, praying it doesn't come🙏🏼🙈

11DPO today and not the most convincing positive test still. I have everything crossed

Hey guys, iv been MIA, lost my thermometer and went on holiday. I think im 11/12dpo and took a test.. iv not tested this early before its very thin but came up in a few mins and got darker... what do you think?

Since i been away, last posted July I had 2 losses back to back. I got a positive this cycle on tuesday 7dpo and 8dpo but it went negative so another chemical no period has showen up yet.
Finally found a Dr who confirmed my suspicions, breast feeding day and night causes high prolactin. I ovulate, and implant but doesn't go past that.

How old is your little one @MixedBananas? mine is 20 months old and still breastfeeds probably 5-10 times each 24 hours. 2-3 hourly overnight and on demand in the day if I’m not at work.

I’m now 5 weeks pregnant but it took a while to conceive. Fingers crossed this one sticks despite the feeding!

I’ve not been on for a while as I’ve been getting myself all stressed out about everything (ttc and also work). I had some spotting at 8dpo and then dreamt I was pregnant at 13dpo so had myself all convinced then today my af came bang on it’s due date. So I’m gutted 😞 back to cycle day 1. It’s only month 4 for me and I know in the grand scheme of things it’s nothing compared to how long some of you guys have been trying, but I’m just worried I’m trying and I’ve got no chance. But coming back here and seeing that two of you have got your positives gives me some hope again ❤️

I think I’m going to take a month off from the ovulation tests and the temping and try to just relax and trust my body xx

@WingingitlifeI'm the same.. haven't been on the forums much, these negatives of tests are mine are getting quite boring!

Just ovulated. Thus is cycle 12 now. NHS have done everything they can. My HyCoSy was clear. All tests good so now been advised to seek private IVF. Have booked an appointment with a clinic end of Nov. Feel sad it's come to this xx

My period this month lasted literally a day and a half 👎🏼 with the spotting I had at 8dpo I’m thinking this could be perimenopause 😫 xx

Hello ladies! Resurrecting this post as I need some hope! It’s been 8 months since my bf and I started ttc and 7 months since my chemical. I’ve had absolutely no luck since and even started spotting between periods over the past 2/3 months. I went to see my gp but she was a bit dismissive if I’m honest and said because I have already got children I wouldn’t be able to get any help on the nhs (even though my bf has no children which doesn’t seem fair). I’ve booked in for some blood tests but it’s been difficult to catch them at the right time as my periods are different lengths from month to month, between 23-29 days.

I turned 41 in January and I’m starting to feel the pressure! Do we have any success stories here? Xx

Hello, We got pregnant and I am currently 24 weeks and going well.

Devastatingly my 2 year old passed away a few weeks ago suddenly.

Very bittersweet we are expecting her sibling in June just before she would have turned 3 xx

@Kittybwayreading this has made me sob. I cant imagine the pain you are going through. So devastating and im sending you so much strength and love. I hope your little baby will help pull you through. Xxx

@Wingingitlifesorry you are still trying! And sorry your GP has been so dismissive. That isn't right at all. I had many tests with the NHS and I already have a little one.
Unfortunately we are still trying 16 months after first starting and gone into cycle 13 after our chemical. On a second medicated round of letrozole with a trigger shot. Have got my follicle scan tomorrow. We actually just tried to dtd before my fella went to work but as usual the pressure got to much and wasn't able to finish. I just feel so disheartened at this point and feel like giving up. Its very consuming x

@ChaE05I am sorry to read that you are still trying. I understand how disheartened you feel as I feel the same and I’ve not been trying for as long as you. Here’s to hoping we get some good news soon ❤️
