So my plan was to start taking baby asprin as soon as I get a bfp! I've been taking coq10. Just added it to my partners supplements. Lastnight he said oh another tablet...you're adding a new one everyday 🤣🤣
How have you found proceive? I read alot of reviews that said people were suffering acne when taking them. It's put me off as I already suffer with my skin. I also take high dose vit C&D and also Bcomplex and B6. This was to help length my luteal phase which seems to have worked as last one was 12 days! X

Hang on can those supplements help with that? I have short cycles and ovulate quite soon after AF. But have just been researching vitamin b, vit d and some other herbal supps for my pms/pmdd hormonal ment stability type stuff too. As I am worse during ovulation and feel better during my period. X

Hi guys I left the may chat and have been waiting patiently for the June thread to start up 😊 I’ve started ovulation tests this cycle. Periods quite regular so would be due on around 2nd June. These or my ovulation tests - so I assume I’m ovulating around now (and so stop testing?) or do I carry on testing?

Hi @hopingfor4I think you keep testing to check it comes back down so you can confirm that’s your peak

Hello! Thanks for starting the new thread, @FlyHighSky72. Joining as I’m out for May. Don’t think dates are going to line up well as I’m travelling around ovulation (without husband) but I’ll do what I can 🫣😂

FlyHighSky72 · 18/05/2025 08:15

Oh no @FarAwayBirdhow annoying!! Still no AF here but just a bright white test so still continuing with my theory that I ovulated 3 days later than usual so my AF will come 3 days late!!

Hi! I'm joining as I'm 7 days into a new cycle, first proper cycle since my miscarriage in March so testing for ovulation starting later this week.
I am just in the process of starting to have tests done through my GP, I've had a scan last week to look at a fibroid in my uterus that was picked up at my early pregnancy scan as I was told it was quite large so worried that it could affect our chances.

bigbird1234 · 18/05/2025 08:40

Joining from May chat too!

I had an ultrasound last week (everything normal) and will have blood tests on Wednesday - though I don’t really know what it’ll be testing? I feel like the problem I may have is with low progesterone in second half of the luteal cycle and that wouldn’t pick that up would it?

I am also worried about endometriosis as my mum had it and it was symptomless but then had problems conceiving me and my sister.

it is hard to pick up on a scan so think I could still have it.

had one chemical pregnancy in the first month of trying last year and then nothing since then

fingers crossed for us all this month!

Ec2808 · 18/05/2025 08:43

Officially left the may chat hat a big bbt drop this morning so just waiting on af to start new cycle will not be testing lh or bbt this cycle as it causes to mich stress…good luck to everyone ❤️❤️

sorry to hear that, will they be able to remove it?

Yeh I did opks for the first time last month and i think they’re helpful to get a rough idea of when you ovulate (it was a few days later than I thought) but not sure if I will this month…(they’re expensive to do twice a day!)

FlyHighSky72 · 18/05/2025 08:49

@SophieP89good to have things being looked into though - what are the options for a fibroid?
good luck @bigbird1234and @Ec2808

im going to be doing OPKs again this cycle plus adding in pgd’s and remembering to track my cm! Going to also just try to have sex every other day throughout my whole cycle post period

I'm still waiting on the results from the scan i had last week and see if the GP thinks it will need to be removed.
It doesn't cause me any problems otherwise but I will want it removed if it's affecting my fertility.

Ec2808 · 18/05/2025 08:50

@bigbird1234i have a relatively regular cycle so know around when i should ovulate think i’m just going to try the smep plan without testing to take some pressure off..❤️

peanutForever · 18/05/2025 08:50

Hey ladies completely missed the may thread (the threads move fast!) But here i am on junes cycles

@FlyHighSky72i am using baby aspirin! Helped with my DS. Im also trying to raspberry leaf tea up till ovulation! & proceive cod liver oil & both on coq10 as DH smokes

i took proceive to begin with, then got naitre supplements and the shipment came early (so had half a box left of mens+womens proceive) and now we are actively ttc this month im gna switch between the two as i dont want to waste the box!

We also started NAC this month but it gave us both horrible stomach issues..so defs not taking that.

few months down the road i may try mucinex. Will try beetroot juice after ovulation too as i really enjoy the tate!

SophieP89 · 18/05/2025 08:52

@FlyHighSky72the fibroid doesn't seem to cause me any problems in general but looking into things online, there's several different options from medication to shrink it or removing it. I would opt for removing it as medications look like they can affect fertility.

How long is everyone planning on TTC before trying to sort some tests out? I’m 37 and have one DS who is ten - this is a new partner though

I’m TTC no1 and have started as it’s been over a year now. I’m having test with the gp (bloods and semen analysis for partner so far), and also had a private consultation, they’ve been an ultrasound and I’m trying progesterone for 3 months. I had a chemical 2 cycles ago so I’m hoping it’s possible and that maybe the progesterone will be enough? I’ve also started acupuncture. Chucking the kitchen sink at it!

Muddysocks1 · 18/05/2025 08:56

FlyHighSky72 · 17/05/2025 11:59

Anyone tried baby aspirin or anything else? I’ve been taking Proceive max and coQ10 since January - might see if hubby feels like taking coQ10

Yup I’m taking baby aspirin, Proceive, vitamins b6, C, D, NAC and L’arg(something, can never remember the spelling) and myoinositol (as I wonder if I’ve got slight PCOS)

peanutForever · 18/05/2025 08:56

I feel like im not close to ovulation 😭 do you think it will be soon... i have a 31 day cycle so ovulate on CD 17? Would i expect my peak soon, sorry im really new to OPks lol

Hi all. Technically not out for May yet as AF hasn't arrived yet, but test today at 9DPO with FMU was stark white negative and I'm getting all the signs that AF is on her way. 😔

Muddysocks1 · 18/05/2025 08:58

Also has anyone tested their vaginal Microbiome, I did a test with DAYE and it found something that could affect fertility and increase miscarriages. It’s about £100 but so worth it. I’m now taking probiotics and am retesting this month. Was suggested by both private specialist and acupuncturist!

peanutForever · 18/05/2025 09:06

@Muddysocks1no i havent but my neighbour did, can i ask what to google if i want that done? Also i take probiotics so reckon its worth it down the line? Fingers crossed this is a gamechanger for you xx

peanutForever · 18/05/2025 09:10

Also so vulgar but i hate the next day after DTD whilst trying! I never feel clean enough and then im not sure if its cervical mucus or what but 🤢

bigbird1234 · 18/05/2025 09:10

I’m finding the tests a bit confusing. On the one hand I want everything to fine, on the other I want them to find something so i can sort it out!
