I didn’t conceive first cycle after chemical.. on cycle 2 now. However it took a year to get the first bfp so I’m not as hopeful.

You’ve only got about 25% chance a month anyway.. so even if no issues it’s normal to take a few months. I’m hoping something has changed for me as I finally got a Bfp, and maybe I didn’t this month because of the 25% chance. Trying to be optimistic

Apparently humans are some of the least fertile animals on the planet ffs

yes, I think a chemical - however upsetting (and it floored me - is still a good sign that you CAN get pregnant!

So I’m taking it as soon as my eyes open after my longest sleep. I have a really disrupted sleep schedule naturally, so it’s not always at the same time. I try for when I wake up for the school run, but sometimes I haven’t even been to bed yet by then so it’ll be later in the afternoon after I’ve slept 😅

@Ec2808 thank to for taking a look. I guess I’ll have a better idea when I find out what CD AF comes on 👍🏻

Jumping on this thread from the May TTC cycle day 6 for me, looks like I will ovulate around 30th of May - just started ovulation strips and tracking my BBT so fingers crossed this month 🤞

Just to say I conceived second month after a chemical - so not straight after, but in-line with what that study suggests! Hope that is helpful in some way x

Hi all, joining this thread 🥰 I’ve been on the last five threads so far but I was a little quiet in May due to tiredness of TTC tbh 🥴 but staying strong and hopeful ofc! This is my sixth month TTC for our first. I’m on CD 13 so ovulation is close. We’re doing a HSG on Wednesday and are not allowed to DTD before that so I hope my ovulation is a little bit late this month so maybe there’s a chance anyway 😊 Otherwise you are supposed to be more fertile for 3 months after a HSG and if we don’t get pregnant by then we get IVF. Hoping for BFP for everyone 🥰

Hi everyone - joining this thread 🥰 TTC baby number 2 in June. Our first is almost 3. Have delayed trying due to promotion at work but the ache of wanting to see our son as a big brother now outweighs the guilt (silly, I know!) of going on maternity leave. Had a difficult journey and pregnancy to get our first so going to try and not drive myself crazy this time! Hope everyone is doing okay x

Totally relate to this, it’s exhausting isn’t it 😅 we’re also trying for our first and had a couple of months out. This is our 8th month and HSG has been mentioned but we’re waiting for my husbands 2nd sperm analysis test to come back. Hope it goes ok for you on Wednesday🤞🏼

Joining from May thread. Had my peak OPK last night so TWW begins again tomorrow.

This is cycle 6 now and I’m over 35 so will be booking in for tests if no luck this time.

Hello everyone from the May thread and any new peeps too. I’m now on cycle 3 of proper TTC no2. CP sadly last cycle. We’ve loosely been trying since January so around 6 cycles. This is our last month before we leave trying until next year. We have big birthdays, weddings and holidays over autumn and winter. I feel im control freaking the timing. But also have to be mindful of what we already have booked and planned this year and factoring in sickness etc!
How is everyone doing?
Im CD 11 today, definitely ovulating over the next 24/48 hours based on pains and CM. DTD yesterday evening and the day before. And I’m leaving it at that this cycle and will hope for the best!

HSG (hysterosalpingography) is an X-ray test that looks at your uterus and fallopian tubes to see if everything’s open and working like it should. It’s often a first step in a fertility investigation 🥰

Thank you! I’m from Sweden, so it’s included when you register for a fertility investigation. But I googled it, and it looks like it’s offered through the NHS as well, usually about two weeks after you’ve registered 😊 don’t take my word for it tho 😅
