TWW at 40 yrs old

A few days into my two week wait now, period due around 2nd of March.

Trying not to get too excited as I'll soon be 40 and I know my chances are lower - nevertheless, I found myself downloading a pregnancy tracking app this morning and looking at all the visuals of what the baby would look like at various stages 🙃

Anyone else out there want to wait with me? Crossing fingers and toes for my November baby!!

Pretty sure I’m out. Chart not looking good. BFN on FR. At least this means it will be a shorter cycle. Glad to see the back of it, it’s been a really difficult and confusing post chemical cycle. Severe PMS symptoms for ages.

I’m 9dpo, only tested this morning as I’m not seeing DP until Saturday and that’ll be at a wedding. He’s there all day, and I’ve got an invite to the evening. Less time to hide that I’m not drinking 🤣

My ov test today, I’m thinking this is a positive but only 0.96 on pre mom

Ignore the numbers, it’s a positive one. Keep testing though as you may get more of a stronger one.

No luck this cycle. Feeling very down - spent this morning at a kids birthday party and it feels so unfair and crap. Sorry to moan but cycle 9 now and nothing

Will you go to the doctors for tests? It’s so unfair! What have you tried so far? I took myo-inositol for my last cycle

@TheFutureIs GP tests all came back normal. No issues. Blood test and ultrasound.

taking coq10, vitamin d, folic acid and having acupuncture. Can’t think of anything else to try? Testing OPKs and DTD over the right window. Husbands SA was ok

Myo-inositol is meant to be good for conception

AF arrived for me this evening. Glad to see the back of this confusing, post miscarriage cycle. At least it was only 29 days. I’m going to LH test this month again because I still don’t have much of an idea what’s going on.

Last cycle was 33. Had sex on days 15 and 21 so had to be between those.
The month before I got a CB smiley day 20 but we couldn’t try because I was on medication. But my cycle was only 27 days! I’m all over the shop.

Think I got my positive today 🤞

AF arrived today - kind of pleased as it’s right on 28 day cycle so at least I know. Onto a new month trying. Fingers crossed

I’m not sure how many DPO I am, I wasn’t even sure I ovulated. I’ve ordered another pack of tests which are being delivered tomorrow

Hi all, I’m going to join in if that’s ok:). It’s good to join a thread that is relatable to my situation.
I’m now 43, no children, but still hoping by some miracle it will happen (if not, I have decided to go through the egg donor route). I went through a miscarriage only just 2 months ago. This is my first cycle after that and I’m 11dpo. I know I know, too early to test, but it somehow became a part of the routine. I did a test last just a random test last night, and I actually thought I could see something. So did another one first thing this morning. Am I being paranoid? I’m going away for the weekend, so will try leave it until after to test again, but just wondering what you lot think. 🫣

@Kreatelai definitely see those and I wouldn’t say 11pm is too early. I just got my positive a couple weeks ago at 10/11dpo
