I am now 37 and have one beautiful 10yrs old boy, my partner has 2 boys 9 & 13yrs.

I bought the Hertility kit online, not yet opened it… I was going to give this cycle my last attempt before investigating 🙃

We got pregnant a year ago but due to personal circumstances we both decided to not go ahead, this I carry so much guilt over 🪃

Now we are both ready and settled in our careers and home but now it has taken nearly 6/7cycles.

today I got my 1st + ovulation test, so beginning our January TWW.

what is everyone else’s story 🌟

I feel crappy this evening so probs is and probs the lube, I’d hate to be BFP in March, I’d have another risky NYE baby 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣 December is pricey enough!

@SCK2024 I'm hoping that I fall pregnant early this year. We've got a time limit now. The gap between our LO is getting too big otherwise. Think we will surrender to it around April or May if it hasn't happened for us by then.

Oh no!! Well I bet I will be behind you too. I've got 6 days until start of next cycle but not got any pregnancy symptoms at all 🙄 Feb is a nice time for us to get pregnant! Lol.

What test is your doctor doing on days 1-3? Never heard of tests being done on those days. I've only ever had 21 day progesterone testing.

Oh cool. Will be interesting to see what your levels are at. I had some done last March. All came back "normal". I am still breastfeeding my 2 year old though and I'm sure that was interfering with me conceiving at the time. I'm not feeding her anywhere near as much now though. Only 1-2 times a day. I was feeding her around the clock back then because she had started nursery the summer before and was always coming down with a bug and didn't want to eat etc.

I tested today and BFN. I'm 9 DPO.

Hopefully your results will come back good, I am sure they will.

I did a full set of bloods this month as well (day 3-5). My hormone levels are fine but they found me positive for Hasimotos. Maybe ask them to check that too.
My thyroid hormones are also ok for now, but the gynaecologist thinks that it could be the reason for the short luteal phase :(
I never had any of this before my previous pregnancy. I am devastated knowing that I had a pregnancy not too long ago and made the wrong choice. They convinced me that my age isn't an issue. Why did they tell me that?? Why did I believe them?? I really can't get past this. I am crying everyday.
Day 15 today, my BBT rose on day 13 and fell again today so not sure exactly what is going on. Usually my temperature rises on day 15. Everything is a fucking shambles.

Are you temp testing and not strips?

I did it because i tested positive literally the day before I was moving to another country, having just landed my dream job. My partner wouldn't join me for another few months, because of his job and visa reasons (thanks to Brexit, bleh). It was a very unstable time, and I felt so sick I couldn't do my job properly and couldn't take care of myself living in an airbnb and having to work for 10 hours (plus commute). But I know now these reasons were shit, and I just panicked really. Nobody I know has kids, I have never had a friend or close relative be pregnant so this was all out of blue and unknown.
I thought that i will get to make a choice next time. But it is not a choice anymore, I feel like a childless mother. I know in my entire existence that I should be holding a baby right now but I am not :(
I curse the people at the clinic that advised be to go ahead with it at age 37. I am literally losing my mind most days. And of course I am failing at my career as well, as I have been going to a doctor or other every few weeks for the past year and a half, I have failed to restore my health, and I am spending countless hours thinking and crying about it.

Yeah only temp. I can't handle the stress of strips honestly. My gynecologist didn't recommend it either. She just said to have frequent intercourse. Hormone level came out good but in September I did a progesterone test and it was on the low side. Which explains the short luteal phase and the pains. It is quite simple really, i just can't make enough progesterone anymore. I can't believe i went from the perfect 28 day cycle to this. I just want to go back in time 😭😭😭

Just try and think positive you got pregnant and your bloods were okay 😌 no reason to not otherwise 🙏✨🤞🏼

Got my 21 day progesterone blood test later in the month, see what my GP says about my levels next week.

Ill upload my results when i get them back hopefully tomorrow or Thursday.

Got mine back too and they are all normal so far. They are pretty fast aren't they, results in less than 6 hours!

Used to get a lot when younger, not so

I'm doing a few things to increase it plus I have the conceive plus lube.
I've had a negative opk today but the clear blue is a flashing smiley but no Cm at all really 🤷🏻‍♀️

im currently, according to my Premom app, 5dpo but I think im 7dpo due to my high opk readings. Did a test this morning and obviously BFN. Just been to the loo and had pale pink when I wiped 😱 I had that with my last bfp. Now hoping it could be implantation x

FSH less than 10 is good. Actually I had the exact same value.
LH on my results says in follicular has to be more than 2.4 so you are within normal range there too.

We’ve used conceive plus this month. After my MC EWCM seems to of vanished. And I won’t lie, killed the mood a little, when DH literally squirted that sh*+ in me 😂 and we both burst out laughing 😂 but I’ve read good things and with my missing ewcm we thought what the hell 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

In a similar situation.
I'm 37 and this will be second month trying, last month I think I miscalculated ovulation. DP is 46 next month so with the combination of our ages I am not sure if we have left it too late for another. We are blessed with 2 teenagers, 1 together and 1 mine.
I have some challenges, I was diagnosed with PCOS in my 20s and cycles have recently been between 29-39 days so it's difficult to know when or if I'm ovulating. I also have a prolapse from previous childbirth which makes things difficult, also prone to chronic UTIs following dtd that take ages to shift or don't shift, so for my health I'm scared to dtd more often than our current once a month or less, otherwise I'd be dtd every other day to cover bases! I am thinking it's last chance though with our ages so I have bought two types of ovulation tests to start for first time tomorrow on CD9, taking CoQ10, got preseed and psyching myself to risk dtd more this cycle, and also maybe some home insem (to reduce chances of UTI) although DP not keen on that.
