I am now 37 and have one beautiful 10yrs old boy, my partner has 2 boys 9 & 13yrs.

I bought the Hertility kit online, not yet opened it… I was going to give this cycle my last attempt before investigating 🙃

We got pregnant a year ago but due to personal circumstances we both decided to not go ahead, this I carry so much guilt over 🪃

Now we are both ready and settled in our careers and home but now it has taken nearly 6/7cycles.

today I got my 1st + ovulation test, so beginning our January TWW.

what is everyone else’s story 🌟

I cry still 17yrs later even with my now son (10yrs)
It doesn’t leave you sadly not for me anyway.
I said I’d never go through it all over again and regrettably I did last year, but again for the right reasons (skin cancer)
Its shit, but feels worse this time because I shamelessly did it when I really wanted to keep the baby but it was a dark time then.
i carry guilt & think because of my age that it won’t happen again.

I am trying for my 4th currently. I had a miscarriage in June and another one in November 😩 I am 40 in March.

Just as a thought for anyone else data collecting - I’m certain that Flo has had me on the wrong track for the last few months. Premom had me ovulating on CD14 after my LH peak on CD13, however, my BBT didn’t rise until this morning (CD17) so I think I ovulated yesterday or day before (CD 15-16) which was 48-72 hours after my LH peak and a good couple of days after my peak symptoms (mittelschmerz, egg white mucus).
Flo had my ovulation as CD13, previous months it seemed accurate due to that coinciding with strongest symptoms but it would have had me thinking ovulation was over so we didn’t need to try on those later days had I relied on that this cycle.

In short, despite the apps being useful, by combining my OPK results, own bodily feelings and symptoms and BBT, I think this cycle is the first that I have an accurate ovulation day.

attempting to conceive my 3rd and my DH’s first. I’m 40 soon and he’s 43.

we’ve had back to back miscarriages (3) with the last one leading to me losing excessive amounts of blood, transfusions, retained products, the works!

that left me very traumatised so we had a break of a few months but we’ve had nothing in the last few months of trying again

my period is currently 5 days late but all tests negative. I’m worried this means I’m heading into perimenopause and it won’t happen for us 😢

I am on CD 24 with 8 ish days to go until AF.

I fell pregnant in September and had a missed miscarriage. I had an evacuation at the end of November. They tested the tissue and found it to be a partial molar which was a big shock.

Trying to be as healthy as possible at the moment. With a few naughty shacks here and there! 😝

Out of interest what supplements are you ladies taking?

I was taking Cytoplan Pregna- Plan prenatal supplements. Having a change when they run out in just under 2 weeks and going to start on the Proceive that a lot of women rave about. I take omega 3 capsules and not long started taking Ubiquinol. Hopefully it will all help! 🤞

the lube has not been sperm friendly!

I am starting to think that’s why it hasn’t been happening! 😩🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve just read the line we have been using has sperm mortality! 🫠 didn’t think it was an actual thing!

Supplements wise, I’m finding naitre has lengthened my luteal phase and improved my ewcm quite a lot. It’s so expensive but it does seem to have the right amounts of good stuff in it.

I might try guaifenesin (cough syrup) next cycle, I’ve read a lot of anecdotal stories about success with that.

I’ve done some reading on supplements, still unsure which to go with.
mixed reviews on most of them.

dont want to feel bloated either.

I ordered it starts with an egg. Looked at buying it ages ago but buying it brand new was quite expensive. Ordered one second hand on a website and looks brand new. Started reading it yesterday. Will send some picture of what it says to take if you have been trying for a while or had a few miscarriages.

I'm going to start testing from Tuesday, I will be 10 DPO then.

Same! I am in a horrific mood but not due my period for a week! I was really moody and irritable yesterday and I'm worse today 🥴😢 My poor husband. Hope you feel better soon x

I know this feeling! I have to keep reminding myself - 40 sounds so grown up. I don’t know who I thought I would be at 39, nearly 40, but somehow it’s not this 😂 Maybe I thought I’d be sophisticated and wise, of which I’m neither 😂

@SCK2024 You’re not out this cycle yet and if you are, at least you know it’s probably the lube working against you.
