@Kazza2803 implantation and pms symptoms are so similar and can be hard to diminish between the 2. Sorry for your loss xxx

Kazza2803 · 19/07/2024 19:27

Our wee one that we lost was a surprise but made us realise we do want another to add to our brood! But I forgot about all the symptom analysing that you do while ttc! Lol

Ncl31 · 19/07/2024 19:40

Thank you ladies. I’m doing okay, just getting on with it I guess

CadoAvo · 20/07/2024 11:42

@Figtree11 @DonnaWhat thank you, hopefully our time is coming very soon 🤞🏼

I'm now 1DPO today and feel like we aced the timings so keeping everything crossed. Only another week or so until I can start testing, I wish I could hold out but I know I can't help myself 😂

DonnaWhat · 20/07/2024 12:00

@CadoAvo I have everything crossed for you. 12dpo for me, spotting has stopped but still bfn. Premom says 1 day late but I only had a short cycle last month so I think it's going by those figures. I used to be 28 day cycle so I should be due tomorrow or Monday. Hate the waiting especially with bfns.

cats1990 · 20/07/2024 12:22

Hello everyone, I am TTC baby number 2 and have suffered 4 miscarriages, 3 at 6 weeks and the third at 9 which was treated with surgery and tablets.

On my last pregnancy I conceived on first cycle of clomid. I’ve had 2 natural cycles since (miscarried in April) and we decided to try again this month on the second cycle of clomid. My AMH shows high fertility but the private consultant I saw said she thinks I ovulate too late as I have long cycles so wanted to bring this forward.

i stated clomid this cycle on day 2 as advised and according to my ovulation tests I ovulated very early ( literally a few days after my period ended) and had all my usual symptoms. If I go by that I’m 12 DPO and have had negative tests but feel pregnant, have felt off for nearly a week, and am getting cramping and sensations I’ve never had. Now im wondering if I am ovulating again as it I’m getting the same discharge. Has anyone else had a similar experience with clomid. The cramps the last couple of days were intense and all over and stopped today.

thank you xx

I’m sorry @CadoAvo i also remember your username from the due in November thread. Sorry you find yourself back here.

I have an ovulation tracking question for anybody - I don’t usually track as since coming off the pill a year ago & having 2 pregnancies I have no regular cycle. So I just didn’t bother doing it as I couldn’t pin point when it would be. For example my last cycle earlier this year was 6 weeks.

My acupuncturist said if it’s not too stressful then it can be useful to pin point ovulation so she can tailor the treatment. I’m only going to look at using the sticks, but how many times a day do you test? Not sure when to start, as I could be testing for weeks before any peak!

Twice a day @Figtree11 afternoon and evening. Lh isn't as strong in the mornings. It's not like hcg which gets stronger. It surges until finally it has a big surge that's why you see fluctuations throughout the month. 3 hour pee hold beforehand and no drinking beforehand. You start testing day period is finished and I'd recommend the easy at home ones

Thank you 😊

I'm lucky that the last 2 pregnancies happened so quickly. Now I'm thinking it will be just my luck that this try will take a lot longer. Also battling my head with "why can I get pregnant but not stay pregnant?"
I shall just have to see how things go. The good news is if I have a 3rd miscarriage I can get some tests done on the NHS....yay 😒😅

I had 2 mc and then a successful one with my late twins. It's completely out of our control. Just keep hoping I guess.

Thank you, last time I tried them I was testing in the morning so I will definitely do afternoon/evening and see how that goes

Yeah that's it, just need to remain positive. I'm really holding onto "3rd time lucky" but can only wait and see right now!

How are things with you?

All fine. Going into month 8 now. All tests have come back clear. I'm getting a hsg procedure on Tuesday but otherwise still trying.

It worked for me three times - three pregnancies. So they are good, just don't let them take over you. They can take time to go positive. Also have you the premom app? It's excellent

Yeah that’s what I’m a little concerned about as I did find it quite stressful the one time I tried it but it was going on for ages as I had a long & irregular cycle! But feel aware of that now so hopefully it will be ok.

My period started Monday night & it’s still not fully gone. I was warned it would be heavy & it was, but was hoping it would be fully finished already!

How are you feeling about the HSG on Tuesday @Ella31 ?

Welcome @cats1990

Welcome @cats1990

My period was quite heavy after my first two mc's. And it lasted for 6 weeks after my late twins birth 😩

So this is normal don't worry. Obviously if it's getting worse or large clots, go into hospital though. Also you might find your cycle different for the first few after a loss. So don't worry.

I'm nervous about the hsg but what harm. They expect it to be normal but apparently some women swear theu got pregnant after it.

I'm missing my boys a lot today. Google photos brought up a few photos of my bump from last year so I went out to the grave to chat to them today. It helps.

Welcome @cats1990 I don't have experience with chlomid. But I've had 4 losses too. Two early mc's and a stillbirth and neonatal death. The last two were my twins so I know how frustrating and lonely loss after loss is. I hope you find some comfort here, everyone is lovely and has their story and please god, you'll have a bfp very soon.

@Ella31 it seems to be tailing off now with mainly spotting so hopefully by tomorrow/ Monday it will be done. But good to know it’s normal for the first one to be worse. I’m kind of not expecting the next one to be for another 6 weeks or so as that’s what happened last time.

My friend got pregnant after having a HSG. She was struggling for ages, and literally conceived straight after. So definitely works for some people! I hope it goes well.
Sending a big hug to you - I can’t even imagine what you are going through. I’m glad you have a place where you can go & feel close to them. You are so brave xx

I heard that too, that even if the tubes are clear, it just flushes out gunk apparently.

Aw, just keep hoping now @Figtree11 , things are moving in the right direction. Did you have your second blood test yet?

Morning ladies, just need a vent. Put a tampon in yesterday because my spotting continued last night after some cramps. I thought this is it, af rearing her ugly head finally. Cried myself to sleep. Woke up took it out and hardly anything on it and dry! Done a cervix check to see if any blood up there and nothing. Cervix high closed and firm, WTF?! Anyway, done another test with FMU and still negative. Just want this cycle to be done with already. Now 13dpo. Premom suggests 2 days late (short cycle last month) although I'm usually 28 day cycle so that takes me in my head due on today / tomorrow. I know I'm not out until AF comes but I would have thought id see some flicker on a test atleast. Nothing to this post really, just needed to get the words out my head. Sorry ladies.

How's everyone's weekends going? Going to take my frustration out on pulling weeds out my jungle of a garden today.

Sorry, you are having a bad day. The cervix theory is not accurate. It can change frequently throughout the day. I remember mine didn't rise for weeks when I was pregnant. And on the other hand, there's been times over the last few months it's been high and closed , giving me false hope. I hope your af doesn't come but if it does, it will likely drop quick just before. Hope this helps.

@Ella31 thankyou, it's just getting that closure when your a hormonal wreck, you just need one way or the other, not your body playing silly games 😑, I know there's only you ladies who understand what I'm feeling. I know cp doesn't really mean anything, I was low and swollen with my last pregnancy. But I thought id give it a go checking regardless. I suppose false hopes better than no hope but infuriating all the same. Hope you're having a lovely weekend so far.
