Hey @Gizmo1983 good luck today at the appointment. I really hope they can do the genetic testing for you and this can give you your reason. It's so hard not having a trend, I too don't have a trend, but do know that every pregnancy is different. This can happen for you.

Your determination and strength is incredible and we are all here with you rooting for you.

I am on Anti-D and have been for the past 3 years, not sure I would have coped without them.

Thank you so much for your kind words @Jecca88 just about to escape the hospital now been here since 10.30 I just want to get out of here. Mva booked for Monday be glad when it’s all over and done with and they are going to do the testing which I am soooooo happy about.

argh I escaped but then realised they hadn’t given me the misoprostol so have had to come back again nooooooooo

I gave it a week or so to see if things would start on their own but there was no sign. I went for medical management last week but discovered it was incomplete at my check up. I suspected it, I think when we’ve been through loss, although our anxiety plays tricks on us, our intuition can be strong. I attempted another round and again it was unsuccessful. Ended up with MVA yesterday. Feeling absolutely exhausted but thankful the physical part is done. Emotionally I’m alternating between feeling rather numb and angry at my body for not even being able to do the medical management properly. It was really gruelling to go through all that, not just physically but the decision making. My clinic advised me not to go to straight to the MVA if we wanted to try again because of some scarring and the risk of further scarring but yet that’s where I ended up. I know it’s not my fault but yet…well you guys know.

@Gizmo1983 I’m so sorry to hear your news. Wishing you all the best for Monday. Will be thinking of you. Our dates seemed very similar and weirdly it gave me hope that your pregnancy continued when mine ended, so your loss feels poignant to me. I do hope you get some answers from your analysis.

@VenusStarr thankyou for mentioning antidepressants. They’ve been useful at previous times in my life and perhaps they will again for another spell. Hope your bloods go well on Monday - what are these for? Sorry if I missed that.

@Jecca88 hope you’re getting over your cold! Typical! I have a sinus infection and I suppose my silver lining is that I can take all the meds I like!

@Hhdxx playing catch up on the thread and reading that things are going well for you after all those losses gives me such hope right now. Thankyou. Fingers crossed for you for the finish line.

I'm OK, haven't really felt like eating much, but have to make myself, still feeling anxious.

made stupid mistake of googling antidepressants and hydroxychloroquine ladies can I just check your drs were ok with you taking them together also hydroxy interacts with erythromycin and clindomycin but dr edge had me on clindomycin for a week bit worried as those are the antibs they want to give me after the mva. CRP have said to stay on hydroxy but the fact I won’t even be starting ivf before December seems a long time to be on them. Did anyone else just do the loading dose rather than take for months first sorry for all the questions xxx

@Gizmo1983 I'm on hydroxy and citalopram and my GP and crp are fine with it.

@v60 I'm so sorry everything was so drawn out for you, all of the medical stuff just adds more layers of trauma ❤️

I've just done my last cycle of ivf and in the tww. But I think it's not worked. Don't really know how I feel to be honest. Gutted really. I know it's not confirmed yet, but feel like Monday will be bad news 😪 xx

@Gizmo1983 glad you have got it booked in and they are doing the testing. I am on Sertraline and they only concern the CRP had was with the pred rather then Hydroxy. I had a break from TTC but continued with Hydroxy for three months - i feel like it actually helps me and i feel good on it. I do however have a stinking cold right now which is very annoying. Hopefully my immune system is trying to fight this cold rather than fight implantation or a potential pregnancy.

@v60 i am so so sorry about your long drawn out ordeal, how horrendous. How are you feeling today? have you given yourself some lovely treats?

@VenusStarr sending lots of love, that TWW is just awful and i can't imagine the added pressures of IVF. The body can play tricks on you. whats making you think it hasn't worked? I have been pregnant sometimes without knowing and being convinced it hasn't happened and vice versa, also all the meds can make you feel all different type of things. I am still keeping everything crossed for Monday.

Hey @VenusStarr you have no way of knowing that I’ve had times where I didn’t have a clue and times I had all the symptoms under the sun. Totally know that feeling of prepping for the worst though I think that’s where I seem to belong these days. Keep your chin up it’s not over till it’s over ❤️
aw v60 I’m so sorry. I’m the same as you really don’t want a procedure but last time I did the tablets and I had some retained tissue I had to keep going for scans and antibiotics it did come out itself but it went on and on for ages. I had d and c last time and have a blocked tube since even though it went perfect so this time I’m going for an MVA no idea if it’s the right decision or not 😬😬😬 we just do our best don’t we ❤️❤️❤️ I’m thinking of you sweet hopefully now you can start to heal inside and out ❤️.

Hi @Jecca88 thanks so much for the reply yeah my gp was fine with the meds and putting me on them they’ve given me fluoxetine so we are all on different ones aren’t we a fun bunch 🤪🤪🤪.
my hospital are a joke I had to leave without my meds ( misoprostol) yesterday as the pharmacy wouldn’t agree with what the dr said I’d been there 6 hours to walk away with the meds, they phoned to say it’ was sorted today so hubby went to get it and again they wouldn’t realise it. The dr who wrote the script wasn’t it so it went to another dr and I now have it but I’m really wondering now if I have the right dose or not sure it’s standard ffs

@Gizmo1983 just the thought of eating something makes me feel sick or sometimes the smell. Hope you're OK ❤️

so today I thought I may as well sort out my left over meds/sharps boxes etc. as they are in my bedroom in plain sight and I don’t want to see them anymore. stupidly I still have the bags with the receipts from CRP and my ivf meds so of course saw every eye watering gut wrenching bank draining bill I paid which counts for absolutely nothing. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. On the upside I’ve hit a manic cleaning/decluttering phase I just can’t sit still I reckon I’ve done more to the house in the last 4 days than I have in the last year lol.

Hope everyone is doing ok ❤️ just wanted to share what my friend gave me today. We haven't shared much at all about this round but they know we're waiting. It gives me comfort knowing people do care and want this for us. I'm feeling OK, I think. I just wish this was easier for us all. Xx

In my experience, cat on tummy is a great sign @VenusStarr. My cat was all over me the day before a positive test!

@VenusStarr They say animals have an instinct ❤️ I'm having everything crossed for you ❤️ I keep crystals by my bed aswell. Rose quartz is a love crystal and a protective stone too. Struggling with going to the toilet properly 😪

I decided to test as I wanted dh to be here when I found out. It's negative.

So that's it. I won't be having a baby, ever.

@VenusStarr oh Venus, I am so sorry. There’s no words. You’re not alone

@VenusStarr I’m so sorry it’s a negative. IVF is so unpredictable and cruel. Please don’t give up yet, you still have a few frosties waiting for you. At our age, with untested embryos, we just have to keep going until the right one sticks.
