I've noticed a lot of us TTC number 2 and struggling after getting pregnant fairly easily with number 1!
Thought I'd start a thread so we can all support each other 💕💕

The lines look good don't they? And I've had progression with all tests I've done with different brands too.
The rate my HCG has risen so far isn't good, they said there was a small chance of good news but itsna tiny %
The more likely is impending miscarriage or ectopic, I've only been testing yo see the line fade to psychologically prepare myself for the bleed. But actually the lines have just confused me even more 🤦‍♀️🙈

@Eatsleepbakerepeat A small chance is still a chance! Ah I'm really hoping you get a positive outcome from this! Surely if they thought it could possibly be ectopic, they'd have you in for assessment? At my appointment yesterday we went over all my symptoms and had to have an examination before she ruled it out and told me that if she still wasn't confident in it, she would've been admitting me to a ward instead 🫣

Im 11dpo today. Tested yesterday and it was very negative. Today I’m sure I can see a really, really faint line but I thought I could last month too, and I can’t capture it on camera at all. Temps have been good - steady and now rising today, but I often get a bump today and then a plummet tomorrow. My toddler has been awake for a few hours in the middle of the night a fair bit over the 2WW too, so that’s messing with temps.

I spent yesterday with my best friend; whose 24 weeks pregnant and full of excitement over the baby and maternity leave… I love her and I’m so excited for her, but it’s a constant reminder that I’m not there with her.

There’s nothing here, right? It’s line eyes?

@YouveGotAFastCar I can see a faint line when I first look? I’m really bad at the line game myself tho so someone else would be better to answer for sure!

I’ve actually now had a couple of BFPs myself…! my last BFN was actually just too early to test then I had some quite intense spotting and was so gutted and upset this month. I’d been nauseated and sore boobs and all that jazz so I felt really shocked at the BFN. Then the spotting just randomly stopped and I tested again and it was positive! Excited but these early days are so tentative arent they, when it’s all just a waiting game. Wishing luck to everyone else x

My lines are now rapidly getting fainter, so I know shortly I will start to bleed, were going to take a month off, focus on us, get some tests done privately ans then change our vitamins before we start again

Ah I'm so sorry @Eatsleepbakerepeat. I 100% understand taking a break from it, you really deserve it, these past two months have been awful for you. Hopefully you manage to have a nice little reset before getting back to it ❤️

Congrats @BurritoTamer! I’ve got another photo which is a bit easier to see, in hindsight, but it’s still a really faint line without much colour. I took a Superdrug test at lunchtime but it was negative, so I’m guessing it’s not accurate, but I’m hoping I just need FMU tomorrow…

negative on a Superdrug test but I bought a few clearblues too. Haven’t risked one yet!

Maybe due to the sensitivity level of the tests? I've just had a quick peek at them on the website and the reviews are awful (no judgement to you!), it seems that they're completely faulty or giving out false results. Is there another brand you can try? As a cheap alternative I usually get the ones from home bargain/b&m until I feel confident using a clearblue 😅
I'm definitely seeing progression with the ones in your picture though!

I’ve had 8 faint positives now, slowly getting better… so I’m being optimistic and hopeful and hoping this is my BFP! 🤞

@YouveGotAFastCar I’m awful with lines so I usually go for the digital ones, could you get an early digital to confirm maybe?

(Feeling weirdly jealous of my childfree friend today tho mind you… Anyone else struggle with this? Mad oscillating between wanting to grow your family and wanting some peeeeaaace 😂)

@BurritoTamer I’ve bought two but I was hoping to use them when the cheapies have stronger lines so I don’t waste them; they’re so expensive! £19.99 for two 😵‍💫

We’ve been in the sun with the toddler all day too. Kitchen starts getting done tomorrow so I’m hoping that’ll keep me busy and then hopefully I’ll be getting stronger lines by next weekend. I had much stronger ones at 10dpo with my son; but it was CD32 when I tested; today is 12dpo but CD22. No idea if that makes any difference though. I guess it’s a waiting game! My period is due Wednesday if I go by average cycle length.

@mamataylor unfortuntofay I got confirmation of my miscarriage :( 4th this year, just booked some private tests with a hope we might get some answers and then we'll look at starting to try again in July but right now I can't even think straight. Feeling broken

I'm so so sorry. Your rainbow is definitely coming, unfortunately you're just in the middle of your storm right now.
I think having some time off is a great idea, gives you some headspace to gather your thoughts and work on a way forward. I hope the tests you go through with help to make things clearer for you.

Thank you, I'm just a little lost. Measuring earlier than we thought we were, out by a week and with it being so early, you really couldn't see much. I had a scan this early with my son and we could definitely see a little more with him. They said they're not worried about it but I can't help but worry 🙈 we were also told we weren't as far along with him, which I feel was definitely wrong but also feel like I can't really argue with the people who are trained in this for a living 🙃 hope you're doing well x
