I went to reply and you were right, the thread was full so I couldnt post a link to a new thread, also, because it's a new thread it wont give me a prediction to tag when I type a name, so I have just copied and paste the names off of everyone who posted on the very last page of the thread, I hope anyone else can find it OK. Sorry, maybe there is an easier better way... if anyone else can remember extra names and spellings, please tag 🙂

@ThelastRolo20 from my reading on the subject last loss, more than 99% certain to end in miscarriage unfortunately and the sonographer agreed it's very unlikely to be a viable pregnancy.

I'm so sorry, it's utter shit and it's so so unfair that this happens. Do you have people around you today? X

moosey89 · 15/05/2024 14:03

@ThelastRolo20 thank you - I have my boyfriend, and my best friend (who inconveniently lives 400 odd miles away in Glasgow) knows and sent a care package through Deliveroo which was very sweet of her. I've taken today off work and will probably go back to work tomorrow as I want to keep my sick days for if I have to have surgery again/time after the miscarriage itself.
And you're right - it's so shit. I don't know anyone who's gone through recurrent loss personally either so no one gets it on the same level. Especially when the average time it has taken me to conceive each time is headed towards 12 months.

HerbaceousPerennial · 15/05/2024 14:35

Oh @moosey89 I’m so sorry. You have me complete sympathy, the week wait is hideous

CluelessInLondon · 15/05/2024 14:47

@moosey89 I am so sorry to hear this, it's so completely unfair and cruel that anybody should have to suffer multiple losses - one is bad enough. I will hold onto some hope for you that you get better news in a week's time. Look after yourself. ❤

samilicious · 15/05/2024 14:56

@moosey89 oh I'm so sorry :( hope you get some answers with the same thing happening again. Sucks that your friend is so far away but lovely gesture

@Ladyinpink1 that's a good idea about the treat days! I'm just trying to eat healthy meals and snack on fruit. I find it takes a few weeks to get down to it properly, start with meals then the snacking catches up. Making my steps up on the treadmill every night is helping me not snack in the evening! On CD 11 today, lots of CM so going to DTD later. Will use OPKs next month I think

@HerbaceousPerennial totally makes sense with your friend and needing each other. I say run, there was a lot more walking than running 😅

Your friend sounds lovely ❤️ remember, if you have time tomorrow I'd argue it's pregnancy related so protected in law - does your company have any policies around this type of leave payment wise? Xx

13lucy · 15/05/2024 16:45

@moosey89 so sorry to hear this, I really feel for you.

moosey89 · 15/05/2024 16:56

@ThelastRolo20 unfortunately not - it's an American company so I'm always having to explain UK policies to them (it's a UK contract so I know I'm protected). But I only get 2 weeks paid sick leave at full pay and my boyfriend found out that he's being let go this week too so I can't afford to be without my usual salary unfortunately. It's been a shit week.

HerbaceousPerennial · 15/05/2024 17:36

@moosey89 what an absolute nightmare. Work has so much power to make this so much easier or so much worse, I’m sorry yours are in the latter camp. Can you work from home at all so you can at least take it a bit easier? Do you get paid for medical appointments? I know it’s bad to say that but if you can find ways to bend the rules a bit to buy yourself a bit of breathing space then I think that would be wholly justified given your company are pretty unsympathetic policy wise

Ladyinpink1 · 15/05/2024 17:58

I am so so sorry to read this @moosey89 it's just an awful thing. Sending a huge hug to you 💐x

Ladyinpink1 · 15/05/2024 18:03

That's great you have a treadmill at home, is it one of those potable flat ones or a full sized one? I quite like the idea of the portable ones as you can just pop them behind the sofa when not using them but don't know if they are any good.
Happy days with the ewcm! On a tracking cycle when roughly would you normally ovulate?
I ordered some inositol last night after reading for ages, I don't have pcos but it said it can help anyone with conception, and weight loss too. So another thing to add to my list if things I'm trying lol x

Hi all, I’m back on this thread again. I was last on in Jan/Feb time following a MC in November & then got pregnant in March.

I went to my 12wk scan 2wks ago where there was no heartbeat & had surgery almost 2wks ago. Not trying again just yet as waiting for my test to go negative.

I can’t believe I keep going through the different boards on here - conception, then pregnancy, then miscarriage board. Then back to the start again.

Have a phone call with my GP tomorrow & hoping I am able to be referred to tommys miscarriage clinic due to being in area & being able to be referred after 2 MCs. But who knows.

Hope you don’t mind me joining even though I’m not actively trying just yet, I could just do with some support as struggling with the overwhelming idea of TTC again and worried I’ll never get my dream of being a mum.

Hope you are all as well as can be x

moosey89 · 15/05/2024 18:18

@Figtree11 I'm so sorry sorry 😞 I know the feeling of going round and round in the same cycles. I'm back here even though my miscarriage has to be confirmed next week, don't worry xx

Hi lovely, I understand the board rotation a bit too much as well! I joined in advance of trying again too for support ❤️ how's your recovery going?

Figtree11 · 15/05/2024 18:52

Oh @moosey89 i am so sorry. It’s just the worst feeling in the world. I’m so very sorry you find yourself in this position again x

Hi again @ThelastRolo20 😊. Physically I’m doing well, spotting after surgery has stopped in the past couple of days so now it’s just a waiting game. Last time after medical it took me 5wks for a negative. And 8wks in total for a period. So I’m concerned I’m in for a long wait again. But don’t know if it will be different after surgical. How are you doing?

HerbaceousPerennial · 15/05/2024 20:07

Hi @Figtree11, welcome from the miscarriage board. Like @moosey89 as you know I’m another repeat board cycler. It’s crap - but I live in hope, a few folk from these boards now are progressing well in their pregnancies and no reason why we won’t be in that boat one day. In the meantime, always an ear open.

@Ladyinpink1 where did you get your inositol? I’m holding off for now until I’ve spoken to the GP on the PCOS front as don’t know what tests they may do. But DH is very twitchy about buying supplements off the internet so trying to find somewhere reputable in case I am left to my own devices!

@samilicious sounds like my kind of run! I walked up a hill with the buggy the other day and trying to tell myself that’s basically the equivalent to a run as I was sweating, so definitely counts as more than walking surely? I’m not even fooling myself here… I hate running but not sure how else to fit any exercise in on a regular basis - DH is encouraging me to take up yoga again but I don’t know if I can be bothered actually getting myself out to a class. I have ordered a load of plants so I will be doing lots of gardening again at least which will be good for body and mind I hope.

My period returned 4 weeks post surgery so I hope that happens for you too 🤞🏻

I'm doing okay thank you, just taking it one day at a time, being back in the first trimester feels like groundhog day to be honest...not sure I'll ever get out of it but I can only hope

Ladyinpink1 · 15/05/2024 21:33

Sorry I forgot to tag you asking about the treadmill @samilicious x

@Figtree11 I'm so sorry, that was very tough especially when things are a little later on. I hope we can be a help to you. The referral for tests would be great, I hope your GP will do that soon once you speak to them. x

@HerbaceousPerennial just from Amazon for the Prime del, as i want to take them asap .. I was awake far too late last night researching until I found a brand I liked, I ended up finding 2 but will try one as capsule form first... if nothing else, I would be happy for the extra energy the reviews promise. I will update you on any changes I notice, they are also meant to help your metabolism, which would be lovely. x

Welcome back @Figtree11 - sorry that you're having to go through all this again. Here for whatever you need ♥️

@Ladyinpink1 treadmill is in my garage! I got it in lockdown through my MIL's company scheme to get discounted gym stuff so only paid half price for it. Haven't used it in exactly 3 years more than once, until now 😂 surprised it's still going. Managed it 3 nights in a row though 💪🏻 lots of cm but not ewcm. I get it so rarely properly. Hopefully this healthy malarkey will help. It's usually between 12-15 for me, got the empty circle on my CB just. If I just do temp tracking between now and after ovulation, will it still work? Cba do it all the time

samilicious · 15/05/2024 22:35

@HerbaceousPerennial omg buggy up a hill is marathon territory, f*%k that! Prayers for your calves 🙏🏻 gardening sounds lovely. The only thing that motivates me is getting my step count up however I do it - dancing about the kitchen with DD, walking the dog, DTD 😂 I'm with you on getting out to a class. Some lovely ones near me but doing it is enough, never mind making a whole bloody evening out of it. How you doing now?

@Ladyinpink1 forgot to ask how you're feeling a few days into the new cycle? X

Ladyinpink1 · 16/05/2024 11:18

@samilicious Yes I think that it should still work starting now because you will have a few base temps then be able to see the obvious rise. I restarted doing mine but it seems higher than usual, maybe the maca, maybe the heat at night at the minute.
Ooh lovely, well done for using it. I might research prices for the portable ones as we don't really have space for a full sized one.
Im feeling good thank you, feeling positive with all the changes I have made and hoping so much this is it. Cycle 10 for me, is it 10 for you too? how are you feeling? x

Thank you all for your kind comments.
Had a low day yesterday but a bit better today. Had a call with the GP who is putting in a referral to Tommy’s miscarriage clinic. Now just a waiting game to see if they will see me.
In the meantime I’m trying to be healthy, taking supplements & got reflexology booked so I feel like I’m doing something while I wait to TTC again

@ThelastRolo20 i am so pleased for you. I completely understand how you must be feeling though. I’ve my fingers firmly crossed that it’s smooth sailing
