@Ella31 aww what a lovely doctor you have. That's so very true though. Allot of trauma. You truerly deserve your happy ending xx

In regards to 2ww no advice as they totally consume me these days.

Tested yesterday at 12dpo. The vvvvvvv faintest line came up but just after the window I think so was pretty sure it was evap . However being as obsessed as I am clung on to hope for today and big fat negative.

I tested on lh strips too as they picked up.my pregnancy stronger than the hcg tests before. They were high yesterday so had hope, but today thays dropped. Funny thing is beginning of the week I feel so pmt then It dropped and now I feel nothing.

Part of me things atleast My luteral phase is a good legnth but I feel like it's gna take ages now for af to actually start.

Officially had enough but I'm not giving anotjer day to the ugly negative tests today and I'm gonna get on with my day and enjoy it. I start again with my "not gonna be as obsessed this cycle" lol. After ovulation I'm going to give my tests over to my husband and try and stay of Google ect. X

Happy weekend all xx

I'd still hold out with hope. The drop in lh could be anything. Funny enough I think the good luteal phase is more important than anything so if you achieve that this month, you are nicely set up.

But I'll be watching with eager eyes to see how you get on.

Ella31 · 10/02/2024 09:12

How are we getting on ladies? Day 2 of Af here. I woke up in the full swing of it. I've never felt so relieved to have the pressure of ttc off me for a few days. Going to do my best to approach this month differently.

RaisingCornishWildlings · 10/02/2024 09:17

I'm 12 DPO and another bfn. No cramping (very different to the last 3 cycles when I had dull aches for days and days before AF) but right, achy feeling on hips and the top front of thighs. Similar to kind of labour ish pains!
My temp (not hugely accurate as never tracked before) still 37.3 this morning.

Have been stupidly googling "positive stories after a 12Dpo bfn! I feel like it's not over til AF shows, and she's due today! So we shall see!

Feeling fed up. And I have a poorly child- again!!

Awww thank you at @Ella31 if af does come which I expect she will we will have similar timings and can help eachorher stay sane and not obsess.

@RaisingCornishWildlings you have similar timings too but hoping you don't join us in the nicest possible way and you see your BFP before af comes. Saying that my af is not here yet but with all the negatives I just feel like it's game over. Keeping My fingers crossed for you though.xx

Blueskies4 · 10/02/2024 10:27

@Figtree11 @meepthebeep really sorry for your losses ladies and welcome to our group x

@Ella31 it’s really true about acknowledging the trauma - your doctor sounds lovely. It’s people like her that you occasionally come across that makes all the difference 🩷

@miamiamia869 sorry about the faint and then nothing, the slither of hope is killer. Agree, looking forward to pancake day, Valentine’s Day too, it’s the little things isn’t it.

@141mum I’m so sorry for your loss, hope you’re all doing ok and welcome to the group. Your DIL sounds very lucky to have you x

The only thing I can genuinely say has helped with the 2WW is accupuncture (which has been amazing) and having things to look forward to. But it’s still a bitch.

Period pain this morning, so after days of spotting I think AFs enroute! Out tonight though so I’ll be cheering myself up with my good friend Mr Pinot! Fingers crossed for you @RaisingCornishWildlings

mamataylor · 10/02/2024 11:35

@Ella31 im currently 2dpo. Going to try and not get caught up in symptom spotting this time and wait and see if AF arrives. I have my toddler to keep me more than busy whilst I wait 🙈 the closer it gets to AF that’s when I find it the hardest as pre AF symptoms are so similar to pregnancy ones so I get my hopes up!

I completely agree that it’s almost a relief when AF arrives as you’re no longer in limbo waiting for either a positive test or AF to arrive. Enjoy these next few days!

Hope all you other ladies are getting on ok x

I hope she doesn't come for you, but will be delighted with your company should she make her rude appearance 🤣

meepthebeep · 10/02/2024 13:04

AF has arrived for me today, a day earlier than Flo predicted and 2 days earlier than Premom predicted, but actually it means my last cycle was 27 days which was the case before my MMC as well. Now that AF’s here, it takes away the what if and the unknown, obviously, so I’m just going to focus my attention on feeling good and healthy for next month.

I’ve realised last night that I may have messed up with Hertility - you’re meant to do the blood sample on Day 3 of your period, which will be Monday for me and the kit may not arrive on Monday. And ideally of course I don’t want to have another period next month to use it then 🤷🏻‍♀️😄 so I feel really silly and as though I ordered it in a panic. Maybe it’ll get here on Monday but we’ll see.

Hope you’re all having a good weekend and you’ve got some sunshine, it’s lovely where we are x

Claudiasaz · 10/02/2024 13:32

@miamiamia869 oh I'm sorry I got excited for a second then with the faint line. It's coming though 🙏

I actually find when my period ends I'm living my best life 😂 it's week 2 of tww / period that gets me down. No matter how I try I do the same routine EVERY MONTH 😂😂

Anyhow I'm being brave and ditching OPK's. I want to enjoy my life again and if this is potentially going to take a while, I simply can't continue the way that I have been. I know the temptation will be real but I think for m personally it's needed!

Hope you're all having a great weekend x

Claudiasaz · 10/02/2024 13:33

@meepthebeep just do it when it comes anyway! Fingers crossed it arrives on time x

miamiamia869 · 10/02/2024 14:30

@Claudiasaz I really can't see it as negative today. I'm just waiting of af to come and piss off again lol. Yeah I agree the one week we get to be totally free and enjoy life.

I just said to my husband about ditching oaks but he thinks we should carry on. (Only time we fell pregnant was 2nd month using them).

I'm giving him all my tests after though so I don't take any more negative pregnancy tests.

Ncl31 · 10/02/2024 14:35

@RaisingCornishWildlings i feel exactly the same! I’ve too just googled positive stories after BFN at 12DPO, I’d rather AF just came now so at least I definitely know I’m out.

fingers crossed for you

ThelastRolo20 · 10/02/2024 16:07

Sorry about all the negatives. Hopefully next month will be the month for everyone.

I'm still struggling with the holding out until April/ May. My husband said we could go for the Feb cycle but I'm so worried that as it didn't work out so quickly last time it had been the wrong decision to try so soon so I'd only blame myself if it went wrong. Also we'd have to scan pre holiday for reassurance and what if it was bad news? It'd ruin the holiday.

Depending on the March cycle we could try and the holiday would be pre finding out, but then baby would arrive at an awkward time of the year (Christmas/ my husband's busiest time of the year work wise/ clashing with my daughter's birthday). Just feeling a bit crap today about everything but may well be another hormone crash.

@Claudiasaz like you I'll be ditching OPKs - it's another thing to focus on that I don't need, my cycles (pre MC anyway) were very predictable and it worked out with my daughter that way!

miamiamia869 · 10/02/2024 18:21

@ThelastRolo20 I feel like if you don't want to wait, trying in Feb wpuld be fine. I know what you are saying about feeling guilty if it was bad news, although it really wouldn't be your fault at all.

I do also think if you did have to go through that again it could well ruin your holiday. Its such a hard one. Fingers crossed you never have too again though. It's horrible that after loss we all feel this way and expect the same again. Such a sad crawl thing!!

Maybe don't try as such but if you find yourselves in the mood around that time and it happens then it's meant to be kind of thing.

I also feel the same with December baby. I won't not try that month of course but how crap to have a December birthday. I was due may with my mc and felt like such a perfect month. However I really don't care when ones born now I just want one born! Xx

ThelastRolo20 · 10/02/2024 19:35

@miamiamia869 thank you, my thinking is giving me whiplash with how often my thoughts change.

I've decided to wait, in an ideal world it would be the March cycle (to give me a full cycle break) but for reasons before that's not ideal. I also want to prepare for not good news and right now, I don't think I could handle it. A 3 month break will help ensure that I don't blame myself if it does go wrong, and I could better handle it. Also I'm taking my vitamins and an egg takes 3 months to prepare before ovulation so that helps.

Just three periods to go until I start trying again 😂 I'm having ovulation symptoms so I reckon Feb will be 4ish days behind a normal cycle length, we'll see. I've got lots booked in to try and distract me in the meantime ❤️

Thank you for listening to my ramblings. It always helps getting it all out

Claudiasaz · 10/02/2024 19:40

@miamiamia869 It will come soon for you outside of this cycle 🙏 I thought this about dec birthdays- but my daughter's birthday is December and it's actually so lovely and really adds to the Christmas build up. And it's never been an issue with parties or presents 😂

@ThelastRolo20 three periods will go fast to be honest..I don't know about you ladies but for me this year is flying already it's quite scary!

@ThelastRolo20 you do exactly what is right for you, no guilt involved. We go through so much, it's unbelievable. Mind yourself, take care of yourself. I'm Irish and as my mam always says " take care of yourself pet,"

ThelastRolo20 · 11/02/2024 06:54

Thank you @Ella31 I keep telling myself it's 3 months, not 3 years 😂😂 I'm just very impatient

ThelastRolo20 · 11/02/2024 06:55

@Claudiasaz it is going fast, by the time it's mid March it won't feel that far away, I need to remember it's a couple of cycles, not a couple of decades 🤦‍♀️

Ncl31 · 11/02/2024 07:38

@ThelastRolo20 dont under estimate how strong you’re being, yes it is only a couple of cycles. However, when it’s something you want most in the world it can feel like a life time.
Youre strong and you’ve got this.

ThelastRolo20 · 11/02/2024 07:57

@Ncl31 thank you, it's so nice when other people get it. My husband thinks I've lost the plot when I say the wait feels like forever ❤️

miamiamia869 · 11/02/2024 09:14

@Claudiasaz yes that bit is true at the end of the day it's reallt not a big deal when their birthday is. As long as you make it work whatever the time or uesr they will have a good time.

So af came in the night. Why is something you really don't want to come such a relief when it does lol. I feel so free from stress and wandering and googling.

I know we all say every cycle and never do but I'm gonna really try to be more laid back with it all. At the end of the day all we can do is be as healthy as we can and dtd at the right time. The rest is down to god/science. I'm going to give my tesrs to My husband after ovulation and I might even sign of here for 2ww so I ain't constantly googling ect.

I'm gonna start running and stop putting my life on hold and really really try this time.

Happy Sunday all xx

miamiamia869 · 11/02/2024 09:18

@ThelastRolo20 what virimins are you taking again?...

Yes try (I know it's impossible) to just look forward to your holiday and have a good time!. Honestly will be here before you know it! And on the plus side thinknofnthe cocktails you can have if your not pregnsnt lol x

RaisingCornishWildlings · 11/02/2024 09:48

Oh bugger @miamiamia869, so annoying when that old crone turns up 🤣 at least as you say it comes with a bit of relief and a reset for the next cycle.

I'm ever hopeful here on 13DPO. Judging by last 3 cycles, period is now late, I feel a bit nauseous this morning and my boobs feel weird- like a tingling sensation right inside them.
Last night I felt awful- a bit of a tummy ache, and shivery but didn't have a temp... just hoping it's all positive signs.
Still no period cramps. I managed to resist doing a HCG test this morning and if AF stays away I will do one tomorrow (husband reckons I should wait until Tuesday morning!)

Hope everyone has lovely plans for their Sundays... and those with kids already are you all on half term now? X

ThelastRolo20 · 11/02/2024 11:58

@miamiamia869 I'm taking vitamin D, CoQ10 and folic acid, nothing too drastic. Nearer the time husband is going on vitamins too 😂 it's the least he can do I reckon

I will certainly enjoy a couple of cocktails on holiday, hopefully a last hurrah before pregnancy ❤️
