Hello

Looking for fellow mums to be starting their TTC journey :)

I’m officially starting this cycle (currently CD6). Last night was the first time without any contraception (v early but hoping to continue all throughout fertile period). Not gonna lie it felt very strange now the actual TTC has started!

But very excited and wanting to hear from people on this journey too!

We're TTC this year too! This will be cycle 2 for us. I came off the pill in November after 12 years so still getting used to my cycle. Currently on CD12

@2doggos eeek exciting ! How are you finding everything?

what pill were you on? I was on the mini pill / progesterone only (cerelle) for over 12 years up until about 3 years ago but my cycles restarted bang on 4 weeks after stopping.

same again last year I was on it for a year but stopped cos I hated it. 4 weeks and cycle came back. I’ve heard it can vary lots tho and of course depends on the pill.

we’ve just been using condoms until last month where we used withdrawal method as a warm up 🤭

Also TTC#1, 3rd cycle now, hoping 3rd time lucky! 😂 CD4, be ovulating around 2nd feb.

@ToeBeans24 I was on microgynon, my first period came 4 weeks after stopping but then my second cycle was a bit longer.

Are you testing for ovulation or just going with the flow? I'm using natural cycles but not found my ovulation through temp yet due to being ill in Dec. I'm also testing using OPKs and got my peak on 1st Jan so I've starting testing again now to see if I can find this cycle's peak. Very new to the whole ovulation / tracking cycle so still getting used to it!

@Riverstardust ahh our dates are v similar as I’m due to ovulate 30th Jan!

@2doggos im not for now. I’m trying to relax as best as possible and then if no joy I will start more testing etc. My cycle has been very regular up until the one just gone when I was 4 days late! But I was ill and sick around ovulation so I’m hoping that was why!

Last month tried ovulation testing did work but found it added to my stress levels so just checking EWCM and flo app. Currently in fertile window due to ovulate tomorrow

Opk's just add so much stress. Like as long as you're in your fertile window and DTD regularly, it'll happen. I just can't have 2 weeks of testing ovulation and then 2 weeks of waiting for period! 😂

@Riverstardust yeah I will admit they do add a bit more stress but I'm finding interesting to see when I ovulate and if it matches up with my app. Natural cycles is saying I'm not due to ovulate for another week yet so just testing every other day.

First cycle ttc, we accidentally fell pregnant in December which we were so happy about but ended in a chemical. Made us realise how ready we are for this.

I’ve just ovulated on the 20th and now the 2ww. First month trying after miscarriage in March & Sept 23.

Not sure if I’m going mad but boobs on and off hurt, and confusing as hell but had ovulation jelly on the 14th (or so I thought) no idea when to test!

@Bex4567 I’m 37 and on cycle 8 now, I know how you feel! Trying to stay hopeful though.

CD12 and I usually ovulate CD15-16 so getting there, but DH is working away for 2 nights now, so not the best timing for that!

@Bex4567 @EvelynKatie sorry to hear that. Are you monitoring at all with temp / OPKs?

@LaurenLoveday the more the merrier! I’m so sorry to hear about your 2 miscarriages 😞 how are you feeling now? The 2WW is in full swing for you eeeek! When do you plan on testing?

@ToeBeans24 Yes I've charted since cycle 1 pretty much. My apple watch does temp and all seems as expected there, and my OPKs give out very stronger than control line readings usually around CD14.

As I'm over 35 and it's taken longer than 6 months I went to my GP. But she said whilst that's the guidance in our local area they still make us wait 12 months before referring, which is a pain when I'm 37 going on 38 and running out of time once I've been on a waiting list etc!

They've taken my bloods to just check for general vitamin levels so just waiting on that to come back, but aren't doing the day 3/day 21 tests.

Hey yeah I have been monitoring opk but not doing it anymore qs it was becoming consuming for 6 months...I'm having to take my mind off the whole ttc thing as its taking over my life and I'm struggling

I'm 28 and DH is 26. We decided to start TTC 'early' due to my PCOS.

Starting TTC after my AF finishes, currently CD2 and it's dragging already! I've been on pregnacare prenatals and I've found that my cycles have really shortened since I've been on them!! I'm usually 34-38 days (PCOS) but now 25-27!

I’m 5dpo so no far to early!! I’ve got line eyes and reckon it’s a indent. Stark white on the photo 😂

5dpo would be too early for a lime you don't implantation till 6dpo onwards unless your further along that u think as in 7,8 dpo

How's everyone getting on?

My apps are saying I'm due to ovulate 29th/30th so we're dtd every other day and im using OPKs which I'm hoping will cover all bases! 😂🤞🏼

@2doggos im the 30th also 🤞🏻 unless I have a late ovulation like last month ! Good luck !

Im 5 dpo and my boobs are becoming increasingly more sore and swollen by the day!! Period not due until 7th feb… BFN of course too early but what the heck????
