@Paws4thought they should say, are you capeable of hearing the truth...if so...here it is....i know some ppl prefer to be oblivious, but am not like that, expect the worse....hope for the best...ges am kinda in the tww again arnt i 🤣.... i can remember feeling like you after the mmc when af would come. I would still convince myself it was implantation bleeding and that i had had pregnancy symptons. I was like that for about 5 or 6 mths then stopped. Reality kicked in and my attitude to it changed. I cared less and less. I honestly think the surgery i had messed my hormones up alot. One minute the body was pregnant, the next it was ripped out...there was nothing natrual about the process and maybe thats why it took so long for another bfp as my body fort, well whats the points lol obviously am no dr, but i think am not far off these days 🤣
@Westy22 ive sent a message to the gps for more bloods lol so if there in line, thats a good sign? I figured they rose as normal even if nothing was progressing. I did a CB weeks test, that came up with 3+ straight away. Tbh. Am not even 6wks yet lol seems a few of us are hitting the 1 year mark. Like, wtf. Tbh gps should refer ppl early taking into account how long the waiting list is as it will be over a year when your seen. But yeah go and bombard them in the meantime 🙂
@xxcxdonxx its shit int it. Even a scan cant give a little joy lol and i bet your the same as me, checking the toilet paper after a wee.....everytime or that sick feeling when your out and about and you feel wet down there... f ing sucks mmc can suck any joy out of this 🤬. One good thing tho.... your already on the progesterone. Are you going to ask for bloods ro check your hcg levels.?

just got a tx message to say the dr will call me re bloods. Ffs. Didnt want to talk to anyone hemse the online form request. Dam it. Lol

@Supertrooper101 I'm glad you're getting bloods done. I hope when doc calls he is sympathetic to your situation. It's such awful limbo to be in.. I thinks the weeks indicator is a good sign though. Let's just hope you had a shit sonographer or it's just to early to see anything xx

I'm 6dpo now (if I ovulated same day as positive opk which I think I did) So another few days until I test and stop the progesterone. I'm not feeling hopeful at all but if it extends my LP I'll be happy with that 👌 Then I will tell the consultant to put me on it from same time next cycle when I start the other meds to give myself a chance.... Well I say tell her but of course I mean meekly ask if it's an option 🙈😂

@Supertrooper101 i do think there is something in that, as my body got back to ‘normal’ much quicker when i miscarried at home than it did when i had the mva.

I wasn’t sure whether to get bloods taken or not, just to check the process of it you mean? It’s not something I’ve ever been offered but I could call to ask. I don’t want to keep taking this progesterone if it’s not viable so makes sense.

@Sez281 meekly ask whilst also not telling her you have actually put the idea to the test and it (hopefully) worked 🤣... dr rang. His a nice one. Wanted to know what was said and the scan was really early but understands that if its gone tits up, i want to do something about it now not 10days times. His a good dr.. got some bloods in the morning and his set a time later on to look for them and see whats what. 🙂... the scan, well,she saw more on the external one than internal. Told me to go for a wee before the internal, i did, then told me my bladder was still full and could see less now than before lol also i had underlying gas, like i can control my insides and whats going on. Wasnt farting and didnt need another wee 🤷‍♀️ Cant fking win can ya lol she was abit like jackyl n hyde! So friday saturday you would normally get af... ooo not long then!
@xxcxdonxx if this one goes wrong and i wasnt asking for stuff. I wudnt be suprised if i got to 12wks and sod all in there with no warning. I domt want to risk that. The mmc is too much to deal with again. Somthing like this i would want to know asap. Thats a good a reason for you to request some bloods or early scan purely cos your taking that and theres no need if not viable, which, ofc, i hope it is !

@Supertrooper101 I'm glad the Dr is taking everything what's going on onboared. And I totally agree they shouldn't have you waiting round for ten days with the possibly of mmc it's just cruel. I get they have to wait to see progress but surly doing bloods in the mean time would help them understand what's going on abit. Hoping tomorrow's bloods gives some info for you. I think them injections I had last year with my ectopic has messed my body up. It says online that it doesn't effect fertility ect and loads have gone on to have healthy pregnancy's but u havnt been the same I think it zapped all my goodness out of my body and I've been lacking in all kinds for months Al be putting this forward to the drs when I have my ap think it's next Wednesday. But on a positive still no af yet xx

@Supertrooper101 Glad the doc was so understanding. Hopefully it can shed some light on it 🤞 xx Even reading you saying about the full and empty bladder thing brings back such memories. My first scan they said it was a PUL and to expect a MC then scan 2 weeks later they said it looked good, then scan 10 days after that it had stopped growing. The waiting makes the normal tww feel like a walk in the park 😥 I definitely won't be telling her I've been on the progesterone already.. unless I get a BFP which I doubt. I do think I should do it every cycle to give myself more of a chance though.

@Jadeypie That's great that there's still no sign and your cycle has lengthened 🙌Still not tempted to test yet? X

@Sez281 to go back and be oblivious to all the crqp that could happen would be nice.... whats a bloody PUL ?? I dont feel pregnant and 6wks tomorrow so should be feeling sumat. Im missing exercising (and vapeing 🤦‍♀️) so want to get back to that so am fine whatever the outcome lol
@Jadeypie i dont know what the injection things are or what they do. But if they deplete you of your vitamins and minerals and this simple multivitamin has helped your cycle after just ONE try, i would be absolutley fumeing with the ppl who gave me the injections without telling me somthing like that COULD happen,chances are theyl play dumb hense the could in capitals, but your either pregnant, or your right, and its either or and not a coincedence after all.this time.

@Supertrooper101 pul is pregnancy unknown location. @Sez281 that happened to me. In the end they said it was a ectopic and suspected it was behind my left ovary but they never actually seen it. @Sez281 it was methotrexate. I know it completely wipes out your foliate that's why you can't ttc for three months after. So I think it can wipe other stuff in your body aswell. Tbf it is chemo so wouldn't surprise me xx

All thats just completley baffled me! Still learning new crappy stuff woman have to go thr 🤬...
@Jadeypie was that stuff you had to treat the ectopic? That sounds scary as hell !

@Supertrooper101 yehh I had to have two injections. Then up and down the hospital for weeks was a absolute nightmare. Xx

@Jadeypie I'd read about methotrexate before I went back for my last scan where they said it wasn't viable. They didn't offer it to me though as it wasn't ectopic so I opted for medical management (misoprostol tablets) which I thought was the best option at the time but I ended up haemorrhaging a week later and was rushed in for an emergency d&c anyway 😔 I think we all have the fear that tablets/injections/surgeries have somehow messed us up but I've been researching it a lot and the chances are really slim so I'm still hopeful for us all 🌈🙏 xx

Is that what normally happens with an ectopic or had yours grown so big. Honestly never knew that scenario was a thing. Id heard of ectopic as my mate had ones years ago and had to have a tube removed and told she would never have kids. So knew they were quite dangerous but i guess i didnt quite know the ins and outs. Sorry you had to go thr that. With your history it makes me mad how long you have had to wait for help. And after care, with your periods being how they have been, you should have been seen properly way before now! Have you been trying for a year again now also?

@Sez281 wow ur story sucks aswell lol was that the mmc or on top of that? If you had that PUL. When did they even find out about that, at the 12wk scan also? Ive not heard of that happening ather medical management either, only that it hasnt worked so needed more or then a d&c... my brains mashed with all other horrors that can go wrong ! Lol...tell u what tho.... our little group has a wide experience of shitshows and were here able to help each other and carry on our own journeys good or bad at the same time...so i would say we are all pretty awesome ! 😁

@Sez281 oh God sounds awful that!! It does seem to be all of us have had somthing done to us and we are still here waiting. I just crnt help but put two and two together xx

@Supertrooper101 they didn't offer surgery because my tubes and ovarys where fine! My levels where high tho for pregnancy but they just couldn't locate exactly where it was so it would of been going in blind for surgery that's why they gave me the injections. And yeh so I started ttc November 2022 then fell pregnant in the January 2023 and nothing els since. I'm hoping this appointment next week will open the can of worms xx

@Supertrooper101 bloody is a shit show isn't it but as u say we are awesome haha. We have some positive story's too tho and hopefully more to come. Xx

@Jadeypie am not one for coincedences and i love @Sez281 outlook that she dosent think procedures have messed delayed stuff up, but am with u...... i think they play a big role for some. Not all, and whether its genetics that make ppls bodys bounce back straight away and others not so much, but there is defo some connection. I hope it does for you too. Are u under fertility too, you are arnt you?

Oh shit @Supertrooper101 I'm so sorry I didn't mean to give such a horror story. In my own way I was trying to make it a positive one 🙈 I definitely agree with you and @Jadeypie that some of us don't just "bounce back" like those really positive threads you read where ladies get BFPs straight away, for some of us it takes a while. I had surgery on 7th of March and my cycle didn't return until mid May 😣 I think my main factor at the minute is probably age and egg quality. @Jadeypie is it the endocrinologist you're meeting? Hopefully it's just something as simple as medication that you need 🙏 xx

Yeh the endocrinologists. I'm actually not under any fertility specialists yet wa waiting to see what this appointment turns out like then go from there. But with it being a year now the drs will have to start doing somthing. Xx

@Sez281 haha didnt mean your story in general, just all these other things ive read on another thread and then to hear your twos experiences, i think you too win, so the fact your both still strong and ttc, you have defo made it a postive story, dont worry,am not of to bed to cry and shake 🤣...@Jadeypie thats the 1st fing you need to sort then with your gp if this app nxt week dosent have an answer 🙂

Ah both your experiences sound awful @Jadeypie @Sez281 I felt quite "lucky" if that's even the right word that my body did what it needed to do naturally, as the anxiety and fear of having to have them intervene really freaked me out. I still think it's so wrong that they told me how "super fertile" I'd be afterwards and would probably be pregnant again quite quickly....they should not be allowed to say that because the pressure it puts you under is unreal.

Major TMI moment but i swear my 🌼 hates dtd and preseed lol just me? Definitely needs a break 🤣 skipping this eve...sure the OH will be made up 🤣

@Westy22 so yours was natrual and still it been nearly a year? .... does that emoji mean your lady area 🤔 lol my bits wernt too keen on conceive plus lube, i would always get cramps, preseed i found 'smoother' lol ...no such thing as tmi on here is there lol we would normally have quickies so wasnt a problem lol

Yeah, it's approaching a year since I conceived. I didn't get my period for two months tho so cycle didn't settle back in for ages. @Supertrooper101 and yes it's my flower 🤣🤣🙈

So I'm trying to do this bbt stuff, is it normal to get big drops? Like I was 96.4 yesterday and now I'm 98.06 🤣 or am I ill 🤣 I didn't track ovulation and didn't temp around that time so I'm just doing it as practice this month 🤣 the only thing I know is I'm cd19 🙈

@Westy22 could you maybe change your thermometre to celcius 🤣 i have no idea temps in F .lol. big drop means ovulation that day or nxt. Temp rise by 2degrees or more confirms ovulation. As a general guide, you want it around 36.30/40 ish pre ovulation then above 36.6 to 37 after. Thing is unless u do it by the book which will be alot of pressure, the temps wont be accurate BUT they will be enough to let you have a good idea. I think the key is the 2 degree difference .... so we have a mix of medical management and surgical on here and similar timelines. ..... maybe @Sez281 is right and me and @Jadeypie are just paranoid lol

@Westy22 I never did bbt as seemed too much faff! Haha. But my understanding is that it's super sensitive to how well you've slept, if it's done at the same time of day etc etc. Main premise is I think it's supposed to rise after ovulation and then stay high until a drop just before AF (or no drop which would indicate pregnant). Could the high you've got now possibly be that you've ovulated a bit late?
