@Westy22 am just assuming your UK....maybe your not?? 🀣

SnookyPook · 24/01/2024 09:00

@Supertrooper101 just to add to your conspiracy theory, I passed my MMC naturally just before I was due in for surgery. My period returned 5 weeks later and was pretty regular since. My losses in Sept/Oct both passed naturally and cycles returned normally each time from the MC bleed. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

SnookyPook · 24/01/2024 09:02

@Supertrooper101 I'm an academic researcher and now curious if there've been any studies on this!! Will have a look!

Westy22 · 24/01/2024 09:10

@Supertrooper101 yes I'm UK 🀣so over the last 3 days it's gone 36.39, 35.8 and now 36.7? I'm now wondering whether it's late ovulation @Sez281 although the ewcm for 4 days last week made me think it was then? Who knows ha i guess I'm dtd today 🀣 x

Sez281 · 24/01/2024 09:24

@Westy22 Have you got a chart you can add? I'm used to Celsius too lol. I'm on month 3 and only getting used to it now. As @Supertrooper101 and @SnookyPook have said timing is so important. I aim to check at the exact same time every morning literally as soon as I open eyes because if I don't it's all over the place. I'm also still using opks just to make sure it's right. The one thing it's taught me is that where most women ovulate the day after positive opk I have a very small window and actually ovulate the same day. I'll attach my chart to give you an idea.

My advice would be to start when AF arrives and look for jump for 3 consecutive days after suspected ovulation (ignore my crazy spikes at the start of my cycle as I took temp an hour later than usual but shows how much it fluctuates). If you're cd19 now there's a chance you ovulated on hols last week?

As for preseed I used conceive + this cycle and loved it for the handy little applicators etc. I dont think it irritated my 🌼 πŸ˜‚my OH hates it though so it's going in the bin πŸ™ˆ

@Westy22 yeh what the others have said seems to be what to look at for ect. I agree with @SnookyPook seems too much of a faff that's why I havnt started it. But saying that I've just ordered bloody ovulation sticks coz I'm a crank and i know they are useless for me but I feel like I need to give it another go it's pissing me off not knowing where I am in my cycle haha x

Supertrooper101 · 24/01/2024 10:40

@SnookyPook i dont beleve in the word conspiricy theory..... 90% or more of the time it has came from some truth....it just gets twisted the longer the story goes on lol ive read a few storys where surgery has messed them up for a long time... i do beleive if the body does somthing natrually, then things get back to normal quicker, if theres medical interventation, it throws it i think. But let me know what u find lol
@Sez281 9/10 times i have always ovulated same day as a test. It would confuse me on other sites where they would say, well i have my postive opk so therefore i will ovukate tomorrow or the next. Also for me, i have to test in the morning else there negative later on. I found alot online that your lh peaks around 4 or 5am so it normally says 12-36hrs after a postive opk. So tbf it can be the same day, or next πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. You shouldnt have told him and just saidu were extra juicy for him 🀣
@Westy22 was that defo 36 then to 35? Thats a big dip lol i would defo do the deed and see if the temp remains high now.
@Jadeypie i rekon its a good idea to try opks. Especially now u may have improved your cycle. Am guessing no af still πŸ™‚ what cd are you on?

Westy22 · 24/01/2024 10:59

@Supertrooper101 yeah it was lol I did think that, I'll dtd and then maybe track properly next month as I'm guessing a bit having not tracked the first half of this cycle @Sez281 I'm worried my cd21 bloods may be off now tho....buttt I was thinking say my progesterone was low because technically its not had chance to build enough...if my gp didn't know this will I get given some progesterone πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ‘€

I've been looking at the temp things you insert and sleep with...Ovusense? wondering if there better for me 🀣 although my bits don't like things up there so may throw the balance off 🀣 and some people have said they've fell down the loo when they've gone for a wee 🀣

Sez281 · 24/01/2024 11:30

@Supertrooper101 pmsl 🀣 There's no way he'd believe it, there was soooo much! πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚

@Westy22 I know they're called day 21 bloods but yeah unless they're done 7 days after ovulation then you will get really skewed results. But you could be on to something if it shows your progesterone is low they might prescribe it πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚

@Jadeypie I know you hate opks and they're not for everyone but unless you have really obvious ovulation signs like pain or ewcm then unfortunately I think it's the only way to tell. And at lease that way you'd have some idea where you are in your cycle xx

Paws4thought · 24/01/2024 12:07

@Supertrooper101 I wonder if it was the pregnancy itself that has messed up our cycles rather than how it ended. I had mva under local and got period back 5 weeks exactly later, but now get worse cramps and no sore boobs, before always sore boobs and no cramps.
@Jadeypie I didn't realise that's how they treat ectopic, sorry you had to go through that.
@Westy22 temps seemed too difficult to get right but hopefully will give you a good idea especially if using opk too and can compare.
@Sez281 have you had any symptoms so far this cycle?
I'm 11dpo today, is it too soon for there to be a positive (If its going to be)? Not sure I can wait til after AF πŸ™ˆ

Hankthehonk · 24/01/2024 12:22

@Paws4thought I probably shouldn't encourage you as I did not have healthy testing habits but I got clear bfps on first response tests at 9 and 10 dpo. So if I were you I'd be testing.
But everyone else will probably very sensibly advise you to wait for af!

Supertrooper101 · 24/01/2024 12:24

@Westy22 id go for your bloods as normal, blag it, then they will probably wont to repeat it again but worth asking for the progesterone lol i wouldnt like the idea of sumat up me during the night either lol am guessing you have an app that connects to it for times etc 🀣
@Paws4thought i have 2 kids and was fine period wise after them. After the surgery pms was a new thing for me alot of symptons for 2wks or so out the cycle. Hasnt been fun. Had tests and no explanation so who knows πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ
Nurse who took my bloods today was telling me about her eptopic and how she stopped breathing and rushed to hospital. Lost a tube and barely survived. Never knew they were so dangerous πŸ™.... drs ordered full blood count kidneys and hsg. And the nurse marked it urgent. Least there careing lol

Supertrooper101 · 24/01/2024 12:25

@Paws4thought get testing in the morning...and then the next day...and then the next lol

Jadeypie · 24/01/2024 12:59

@Sez281 your right about the opks tbf. I thought u got the ovulation pain but I don't even no anymore so Al see what these sticks say when af arrives.
@Supertrooper101 I'm on cd25 so five days longer than the last three months which I'm delighted about. Feel abit like af will arrive soon tho. And yeh ectopic can be so so dangerous. When I had those injections the Dr said untill my levels went to 5 which started over 3000 then I could still have a eruption so I felt like a walking time bomb it was scary and I didn't leave the house for weeks until my levels went down. When will u get your blood results? Xx

Jadeypie · 24/01/2024 13:07

@Paws4thought I found after having my ds (3) that it helped with my af and pains ect its been fine every month like clock worth no pains nothing. But after my loss they just went up the wall and havnt been the same since even the flow how long af lasts. But I'm starting to think it's all been down to lack of stuff in my body xx

Paws4thought · 24/01/2024 13:27

@Jadeypie oh yeah, didn't think about already having children πŸ™ˆ sounds like your body has been through alot but looks to be improving now 🀞what does ds actually stand for?
@Supertrooper101 that's good that they've marked it urgent hopefully less waiting for you, did they give a time frame for results? I didnt realise ectopic was so serious either and im guessing unavoidable! Haha I only bought 2 tests so cant get obsessed πŸ˜‚
@Hankthehonk that's good to know thanks :)

Sez281 · 24/01/2024 13:28

@Supertrooper101 glad to hear they have them marked as urgent. Hopefully you hear back soon πŸ™ xx

@Paws4thought I'm a bad influence as a serial tester but I'll definitely be testing from 9DPO. No symptoms for me at all. My usual post ovulation cramps every day but that's the norm since the MMC and the scans and tests are apparently normal πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ I've a couple of days to wait so fingers crossed for you! X

OP posts:
Jadeypie · 24/01/2024 13:30

@Paws4thought dear son sorry ha. And it's crazy what can happen to our bodies when ttc and yeh bever really no untill being on this journey. Well I didn't haha I've ordered some cheap ones that are coming with my ovulation sticks but I'm going to be resisting......I say that now haha it's harder when u have them in the house ha xx

Jadeypie · 24/01/2024 13:33

@Sez281 you still been using the pessies? I'm feeling all positive for you this cycle xx

Supertrooper101 · 24/01/2024 13:53

@Jadeypie 25days that great! Be crazy if its a multivitamin thats helped. You might have been deficient in b vitamins. B6 especially plays a big role in hormones.
Results will be back later and the dr has noted to check at 3pm sooooooo am a tad nervous!

Jadeypie · 24/01/2024 14:42

@Supertrooper101 I know I'm made up! I totally get that feeling been there waiting for them results yeh hearts just in your mouth the closer is gets. Keeping everything crossed for you tho. And will be checking in xxx

Supertrooper101 · 24/01/2024 18:30

@Jadeypie none the wiser πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ no results 🀣

Sez281 · 24/01/2024 19:04

@Supertrooper101 Aw sorry to hear you've been left waiting. Hopefully they call you first thing x

@Jadeypie yep, will be taking 5th pessary tonight. I actually feel like it's blocking even pms as I've no symptoms of anything (except my usual cramps) but no sore boobs, no pms, nothing πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ I'm not feeling hopeful but I will be happpy if it just extends my LP a bit 🀞

OP posts:
Paws4thought · 24/01/2024 21:06

@Supertrooper101 oh no, that's more frustrating that they gave you a time for results then nothing. Hopefully no news is good news.
@DmcinT were you in for a check today?

Paws4thought · 25/01/2024 07:24

So I did a test last night after a 3 hour hold...trying not to get my hopes too high as its faint but i can definitely see the line 🀞
