Little heartbeat and measurements are good.. small bruise/bleed beside the sac but it seems to be growing despite it. Had a fleeting moment of happy tears but now I feel sick with worry again 🥺 Back in 2 weeks. I know I should be relieved but I'm not 😞

Aw @Sez281 these early days just play havoc with you. I'm so happy to hear that little one was there with a heartbeat. I also had short lived happiness after that first scan as it was still seemed so far before the date when my MMC had stopped. But we have to focus on each win. This is great news for today. I'm not sure if it will work for you but I decided with mine that I wanted to enjoy it for while it was here. It meant that I could still hold that space in my head for it probably ending badly again, whilst also taking some joy in celebrating little one in the now. Just think, at this moment, there is a little heart beating alongside your own. Whether or not they make it to term, that is a wonderful thing right now. Deep breaths. Sending you a big hug and lots of courage. 💕

@SnookyPook I think I'm going to have to keep reading your method and reminding myself of that. I've upset my OH this morning when we were leaving too as I was being so negative I think I've robbed him of his happy moment 😢 So I'm going to try to be more positive going forward... or fake it 🤷‍♀️😂xx

@Sez281 faking it sounds good lol am annoyed that we all have had bleeds. I read it common if you have had previous trauma to the womb. So what have we got in common... surgical management 🤬.. av no advice lol just day by day i guess. Keep telling myself not to live in fear but not working haha. But like @SnookyPook says, try take today as a win 🙂

Glad it was positive for you @Sez281 I understand the anxiety but as @SnookyPook says try and think positive. I would be like you though, have to always prepare for the worst to protect ourselves as much as possible ❤️

@Supertrooper101 that's interesting about the bleed, wonder if it is cause of mva, although you'd think we've had long enough to heal in-between pregnancy really

On another group theres bleeds on there too. Too much of a coincedence when we have all had mc's. . Not sure its about healing, its a delicate organ so anything unnatrual done in there is going to have a lasting effect whether tiny scar tissue unseen on scans or anything really. Like if youve bashed a part of your body really bad, its never the same after.... @SnookyPook not to bring back any bad memories , but am i right in thinking all your loses were natrual and you havent had a bleed with this pregnancy?
@Sez281 was thinking aswell (🤦‍♀️ as usual lol ) the reason your on edge and ur oh isnt....is we feel EVERYTHING.... everything thats going on inside us scares us as we dont know if its normal or not. Our oh's.... are oblivious. They have no idea how hard ttc and this is. Cos there not in our bodys or mind.they have it so easy. So explain that to him but at the same time, dont be so hard on yourself for being negative, you have alot going on just getting through yiur thoughts each day x

@Supertrooper101 I honestly think that they're so common. The reason that they're being picked up for us is that we're being scanned in EPUs so early. Just spoke to my sister and she actually forgot she had one with her first (had a scan at 8 weeks) I really don't know if it's anything to do with surgical management and to be honest if god forbid it happens again I'll opt for surgical again as I had a horrendous experience with the tablets 😣

I agree our OHs don't know the half of what we've been through 😕 but I do feel really bad for him as it's not his fault so I'm going to try be less negative in front of him (a hormonal mess) going forward.. not sure how long it will last! 😂

@Supertrooper101 you're right that all mine were natural losses, however I have had 3 incidents of spotting/small bleed with this pregnancy. Had spotting at 8 and 12wks (interestingly have heard it often happens around AF points of your cycle .?!) and I had a bigger bleed with a couple of clots at 13+4. I suspect that last one was due to constipation and probably straining and setting something off in my cervix! They've never been able to see a bleed site in my uterus/near the baby on any of the scans.

@Sez281 aw we have to feel what we feel though. It's unfortunate it affected your OH but they are so oblivious!! They don't know how lucky they are do they?! I always think it's the price we have to pay for being closer to our little ones once they are here. My son is now 3 and has recently started telling Hubby that Mummy is his best friend, not Daddy... 😬 Bit awkward haha. But I know he adores his Dad but honestly the connection with Mummy when they're tiny is like nothing else. It's the price we pay. X

Aw @Sez281 a heartbeat and measurements on track is a great sign 🥰 I’ve never heard much of these bleeds/bruises beside the sac, it’s a strange coincidence that there has been a few on this thread.
I know it’s easier said than done but hopefully you can enjoy your trip away knowing that for now, all is looking well xx

@Sez281 i can remember bleeding at 7wks with my boy come to think of it. Didnt last long but had a scan. Cant remember what was said tho atm ha. Are you still private then or under epu now? Hope your able to enjoy your time away 🙂
@SnookyPook yeah my boy was always glued to me. More cuddly than my girl when they were younger. Alot say boys are more cuddly. Didnt beleve it till i had one lol

@SnookyPook a tad awkward 😂but a well earned title by you no doubt 😉 I can't wait for cuddles with my own whenever they may come. I spend this afternoon with my 2yo and 11mo nephews and got all the feels 🥰

@Supertrooper101 how you feeling about your scan tomorrow?

@Sez281 I'm doing OK at the moment thank you, been enjoying eating rubbish rather than trying to eat healthy, think it'll hit me more after Friday although I've felt really sick all day which is a bit of a kick in the teeth.
@Supertrooper101 it makes sense that the procedure could have an effect, its part of the reason I've opted to have local anaesthetic not general as figure there's more pressure for them to go steady and be gentle 🤞 could be our bodies implanting hard to help it stick maybe

I'm glad you're having veg out and eat shit day @Paws4thought but sorry to hear you feel sick too, it's so bloody cruel 😔 In case I'm not on here much over the next couple of days I hope it goes as smoothly as it possibly can on Friday and that you're well looked after xx

@Paws4thought I had to write this straight away because I just proper laughed out loud at my OH.. he told me he was trying to sneak a glimpse at what the doctor was typing, he said he saw something about the "Sac of Joseph" I said eh do you mean the "Pouch of Douglas?" .. I only knew it because of you mentioning it previously but it made me pmsl 🤣

I don't know about you @xxcxdonxx but the tww is dragging. 5dpo temp still rising and I'm trying to stick to all the vitamins and crap I'm taking aswell as eat better.

OHs sperm results came back good apparently, I've not seen the detail but that's what the GP told him x

@Sez281 to say the gyne clinic or gps never new what i was on about when i mentioned it...... it is noted on every bloody scan report so far lol POD... i have to google it then fort u idiot, u k ow what it is 🤣 have a great time. No idea what there is to do there but sure it will be fun lol
@Westy22 thats good about the results. Am sure u will have a detailed look when you see them lol does that mean no problems have been found between you so far then? You only have 3 more cycles until your appointment, saying it like that dosent sound long at all lol hopeing u dont need it tho 🙂
@Paws4thought i like your logic on the local ! Has your oh got time off to be with you,or are you better on your own with these things so you can switch off?

@SnookyPook hiya, yeah 🙂. Didnt want to update. Didnt feel like the right time.. bleeds still there. Theyve measured it in a % now instead of mm which ive been used to so that bloody threw me. Think there getting ready to kick me off their books lol said will see you next week then....... and cut off 😅. Kinda got used to it but 🤷‍♀️ will see. How you doing?

@Supertrooper101 glad your scan went well, are they expecting the bleed to clear before your 12 week scan? How many weeks are you now? My oh will come with me to scan in morning before procedure but then I don't see the point in us both sitting at hospital, hopefully he'll tidy the house haha.
@Sez281 I've never heard of pouch of douglas, had to google it.
@Westy22 glad sperm results were good, fingers crossed you won't need them. Are you getting on better with temping now?
