@Sez281 am plsd my stubboness has helped motivate your brain and question more 🀣
@SnookyPook theres a few newbies on there too int there... tbh im only following it for that worldwidetravel person, shes had a bloody shitty time ant she!
@Paws4thought you sound like my eldest, in 4mths its nearly the middle of the year which means its practically next year which means ill be taking driving lessons then it will nearly be the next yeah so am basically nearly 18...and on n on 🀯🀣....tell her not to wish her young days away lol
@xxcxdonxx i had my bloods done at the path lab this time and he couldnt get a vein. Happens quite abit and nurses make out its my fault and i have bad viens. So figured it was a good oppertunity to ask some questions...... and thought of the sticky blood thing 🀣.... he said no, its your veins moving out the way cos there under attack.... think of it like a tiger trying to bite your, your body defends itself he said lol...its what there meant to do and means your healthy and hydrated....so next time a nurse struggles to draw blood, one shall be repeating that conversation to them 🀣

SnookyPook · 18/01/2024 08:56

@Supertrooper101 yeah bless her I'm just really hoping to see some positives for her in relation to babies but also just her general health etc. But yeah it's become a bit of a doom and gloom thread! Maybe you should tell them your news to give them all a boost!!

Jadeypie · 18/01/2024 10:02

@Paws4thought we all absolutely feel the same!

@Supertrooper101 they can never get it out of me said it's because my veins are too deep and I'm a nightmare even a surgeon come and done ones once coz no one on the ward could get them! But I like this story next time I will be telling them it's not because I'm a nightmare it's because they don't like you and your needles hahaha x

Sez281 · 18/01/2024 13:15

@xxcxdonxx good luck with the bloods today 🀞 Just wondering actually.. how many days after you stopped progesterone did it take for AF to arrive last cycle?... I have a box there to take from BFP but a little part of me is considering starting it from 3DPO just to give myself an extra chance with my short luteal phase but I don't know if I'm being silly and it will mess my cycle up 🫣

OP posts:
Supertrooper101 · 18/01/2024 13:44

@Sez281 ooooooi think thats a good idea! Youve nothing to lose and the meds ivf process etc etc etc, arnt they going to change your bodys natrual process anyway? So for a curiosity test for yourself, id say go for it lol

Sez281 · 18/01/2024 13:49

@Supertrooper101 pmsl you're like a little devil on my shoulder πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I'm really tempted to give it a go. It's my last natural cycle and we threw the book at it so I just feel like an extra couple of days LP (mine is only 9/10 days) might give us a chanceπŸ™.. I'm such a chicken shit though, I was told to take it from BFP, what if they know when I go in after AF? πŸ™ˆ

OP posts:
Supertrooper101 · 18/01/2024 14:07

@Sez281 youve threw the book at it πŸ€” wasnt you scrapping this cycle off 🀣.... unless they tested your progesterone or asked for the meds back lol , how would they know... as far as there aware....af has arrived and here you are πŸ™‚.... just keep doing pregnancy tests and when ur convinced there defo negative..... stop the progesterone and af will come a few days later wont it? Or ur little test would have worked and ul be pregnant 😁...... youve a big journey ahead of you and i get the feeling your abit gutted it hasnt happened natrually, so why start the journey with what ifs πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ... and plus, i can imagine you being honest with them anyway and telling them what you did and why 🀣 theyl probably understand and wont actually care lol and plus plus.....just remember whose paying her wages for all this.....you and your fella... πŸ‘Š so dont feel naughty cos you wont to give nature one last try with a little natrual help x

xxcxdonxx · 18/01/2024 14:13

@Sez281 just had to take a look through the previous threads to remind myself! I got my bfn 24/12am so I must have last taken it 23/12pm and af arrived 27/12.

I would say go for it too, take it for 10 days then test 😊

Sez281 · 18/01/2024 14:24

@Supertrooper101 I know what am I like?! πŸ™ˆ I went from "I might not bother this cycle" to once the plaster was ripped off and we dtd at the start of the fertile window to "we might as well throw the kitchen sink at it" πŸ€ͺπŸ˜‚

Thanks for that @xxcxdonxx Good to know it was only a few days after you stopped. I think you're both right. They're just sitting in the press and I've nothing to lose πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ it's only a low dose (200mg once a day) so feck it I'll start if my bbt goes up the next 2 nights and confirms ovulation. You take it from 3DPO @xxcxdonxx?

I honestly just feel that this is the real reason I'm not getting proper positives because my LP is only 9/10 days that nothing is getting a chance to stick. So I'll do it until around 11DPO and then test and stop if it's negative. If they do happen to notice on bloods or scans then I'll say that I had a positive test which turned out to be an evap. I mean I've had hundreds of those so it's not technically lying πŸ€·β€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚

@Sez281 I like your thinking and nice back up story 🀣

I’m a bit lost as to when I should take it to be honest, the gel was day after positive opk and these were CD18. I ended up starting CD 15 which was 2/3dpo instead.

Ha, you’ve have a complete change of heart this month but I think I’d be the same to be honest, just β€˜to see’ what happened πŸ₯°

Sez281 · 18/01/2024 15:11

@xxcxdonxx Oh I forgot you had the gel, mine are just the pessaries. I can see how that is confusing when they don't differentiate between cd and dpo πŸ˜•

Yeah I don't know why I bothered lying to myself. I'm totally addictedπŸ™ˆ, and once that door was opened this window there was no turning back πŸ˜‚

@Sez281 i do love a good harmless experiment lol

Jadeypie · 18/01/2024 16:12

@sez I 100% agree with @Supertrooper101 and @xxcxdonxx I think u need to go for it xx

Jadeypie · 18/01/2024 16:15

@Sez281 hahha whyy do I always get your name wrong πŸ˜… least it's not @sex This time hahaha

Sez281 · 18/01/2024 17:28

@Supertrooper101 once it is harmless and I don't end up messing up AF arriving reasonably on time🀞

@Jadeypie pmsl imagine there was somebody with the username @sex They'd probably get tagged a lot πŸ˜‚

OP posts:
Supertrooper101 · 18/01/2024 17:40

@Sez281 tbh with a short 2nd half am suprised you havent been told to try it before anyway x dont you take it till your normal af due date, test, and proceed according πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ easy peasy πŸ™‚ so roll on a that temp rise lol

Sez281 · 18/01/2024 18:32

@Supertrooper101 imagine I caught this month because that's all it needed 😳 and they've been sitting in my bathroom cabinet for the last 10 months since the MMC πŸ™ˆ I know the chances are slim to none though so not going to let my brain go there! At least I can say I tried literally everything this month and then move onto the meds etc πŸ’ͺ

OP posts:
Westy22 · 18/01/2024 20:53

Ooo good luck @Sez281 I've read so many stories where it happens just before IVF πŸ™πŸ€ž

Well I fell down a rabbit hole around antihistamines, only because I've had a reaction to some skincare so I've been taking them and I've now found stories about them helping implantation πŸ€£πŸ‘€ apparently it calms your body down so you can implant without issue, assuming for those with immune response issues? πŸ™ˆ now I have an auto immune disease so now I'm like ooo this could be me πŸ™ˆ

Hankthehonk · 18/01/2024 23:24

@Westy22 That's super interesting about the antihistamines. I've stopped taking them now I'm pregnant but while ttc I was on strong antihistamines due to a histamine intolerance. And I got pregnant quickly twice.
When trying for my daughter my histamine intolerance was undiagnosed, I was having scary allergy flareups and it took a very long time to get pregnant.
No idea if they are related or it's just coincidence but it's interesting you've read that. There's a link between hormones and histamine as my intolerance symptoms disappear when I'm pregnant or on the pill. My mum had it too and menopause has made her symptoms much worse. But it's a massively under researched area (as most things concerning women's bodies...)

Jadeypie · 19/01/2024 08:18

@Westy22 that's very interesting! I bet your a pro about the subject after being down the rabbit hole 🀣🀣 and @Hankthehonk seems to be proof (I hope ha) it's crazy the stuff we fi d out when ttc. I've read so so much about our bodies I feel like I could be a professional hahahah sending you lots of luck this cycle xx

Well it's cd20 for me and no af (doing such a happy dance inside) @Supertrooper101 aye maybe these vitimins are doing the trick πŸ€”

Supertrooper101 · 19/01/2024 08:29

@Sez281 am suprised you havent tried them sooner to prove a point to your consultant that actually, yes, a short lp is no good lol you do right trying them 😁
Ive heard about ppl over seas doing the cough medcine but never allergy stuff. How bizzare...... and how many of you's are going out to buy some now πŸ€”πŸ€£ i would too lol
@Jadeypie mine were just basic vitamins too. You wasnt on any before was you? Just seperate things? You watch, youl sort ya sen out beforw your appointment comes around lol i often feel like a dr myself the amount of googling av done, always correcting the oh haha

Jadeypie · 19/01/2024 08:32

@Supertrooper101 that would be just typical wouldn't it!!! And yeh never took this many haha I do feel better for it tbh my energy levels feel like they are coming back. I think you need to change your name to dr.super πŸ˜‚ your more of a Dr to all us than our own sometimes ha xx

Westy22 · 19/01/2024 08:50

Oooo that's interesting @Hankthehonk it makes sense though don't you think? Like if you body fights off the pregnancy then antihistamines stop that process? You've really got me thinking now ha the ones I'm taking are a bit stronger than the ones you can just buy...I'm wondering do I just work my way through the box 🀣🀣 @Supertrooper101 here's to being drowsy for the month 🀣

That's good that your cycle is lengthening @Jadeypie πŸ™ what are you taking?? Xx

Sez281 · 19/01/2024 09:07

That's really interesting @Westy22 and @Hankthehonk is kind of a walking example of how it might be true! Definitely keep taking them πŸ˜‚ xx

That's great that you've go passed cd20 @Jadeypie, here's hoping it continues πŸ™ xx

BBT rise again for me this morning so if it's up again tomorrow I'll start the progesterone 🀞

OP posts:
Jadeypie · 19/01/2024 09:11
