@Supertrooper101 seriously here I was full of anxiety convinced I was pregnant! My peak is off the chart!! I'm so so happy told the oh he's on task for the rest of the week haha because God nos when I could ovulate again ha I think it vitimins and the stone off has helped. I'll attach my chart and opk because I'm just feeling proud of my body yu can see on premum that it had actually precidted ovulation on time but obviously af didnt arrive xx

@Westy22 does that dip mean that's when you ovulated? I have no clue what I'm looking at with your graph what dpo are you now? Sorry if you've said I crnt keep up sometimes hahah xx

Westy22 · 29/01/2024 11:45

So the first dip is ovulation I think lol @Jadeypie and the second dip at 5dpo could be a secondary surge or some say implantation dip but there's a big debate as to whether that's even a thing 🀣 @Supertrooper101 just hoping my temp stays up now 🀞 I'm 7dpo so a few days to wait and lots of symptom spotting ahead 🀣x

That's a really strong peak @Jadeypie good luck ❀️

Jadeypie · 29/01/2024 12:02

@Westy22 ohh right I get it then. And yeh I've heard about implantation dips so fingers crossed that's happened for you!! Half way through the trenches now tho ha. Do u feel like you've got any symptoms? X

Westy22 · 29/01/2024 12:25

Ermmm I'm reading into alot things probably too much lol I've had sore boobs for 3 days and there swollen but then could just be the hormone switch, sleeping pattern has gone a bit off and yesterday I was exhausted in the afternoon and fell asleep on the sofa whilst watching TV...I've not had a nanna nap for like 2 years and can usually only sleep when in silence so that was different but maybe I just got up way too early 🀣 @Jadeypie telling myself I do this every month and nothing comes of it 🀣

SnookyPook · 29/01/2024 12:36

@Jadeypie wow that is some peak! πŸ₯³

@Westy22 sounds hopeful 🀞🏻

@Supertrooper101 I think WHU is just what my local hospital call EPU tbh. They maybe do some extra gynae stuff and also deal with early pregnancy etc all in one. They've been really supportive though. Can't fault them. Not had any more bleeding 🀞🏻 it was just one bit when I wiped - not proper blood, just like pinky red wee (sorry tmi!) - unfortunately a big trigger for me as it's the only sign I had anything wrong with the MMC a couple of random spotting moments. Really trying to keep positive and not run away catastrophising!!

Paws4thought · 29/01/2024 12:50

@Supertrooper101 it was only receptionist I spoke to who said she spoke to a nurse but I've got a proper Dr appt tomo so hopefully they'll put my mind at rest.
@Jadeypie ooo that looks like a really good peak, exciting.
@Westy22 that's sounds good, I have no idea about temps though, hopefully your symptoms are a good sign.
@SnookyPook hope you're getting through the day OK without too much worry.

Sez281 · 29/01/2024 12:54

@xxcxdonxx I'm so sorry that AF arrived 😒 You were right to listen to your body though and I'm glad it didn't drag out too much. Hopefully your blood results explain something 🀞xx

Aw @SnookyPook I can only imagine the dread when you saw it, it does sound like round ligament pain and the cough probably just jolted it a bit. Your unit are amazing, so great that they're bringing you in early for some reassurance πŸ™ xx

@Jadeypie that's an amazing peak! I don't think I've ever had one that high! πŸ˜‚ I'm going to attach my Premom and fertility friend chart for you to look at and @Westy22 you can see how my temps were this cycle. I was a bit worried as it dipped a bit this morning but I had darker lines on boots test so I'm going to panic yet. I know I need to step away from bbt but I'm only cd25 so I'm going to wait till cd30 or when I have a blazing positive then hide the thermometer πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚

@Paws4thought totally understand the concern around chicken pox. I've seen on news that measles are rampant at the moment too. I'd never give it a second thought usually but I'm sure you'll be fine πŸ™xx

@Supertrooper101 yeah I'm going to email my consultant after I tell my OH, I might see if I can stay under her care and go privately for extra scans etc. she actually covers the epau in my place too. I need to ask if this doesn't work out if I'm still eligible for ivf too but hopefully it won't be the case. How are you feeling? Are you still testing? X

@Jadeypie @Westy22 I'll attach LH & bbt charts here. You can see that for me I actually ovulate on same day as my peak I think sbd not the next day like some people. That's why I'm not sure if I'm 11 or 12dpo today πŸ€”

@Sez281 everything seems to be on the rise at the moment, I guess what will be will be.
Hopefully this pregnancy will continue to progress so you don't need to worry about ivf, I bet you can't wait to tell your other half! Have you got any symptoms?

Sez281 · 29/01/2024 13:21

@Paws4thought you've probably noticed that I haven't marked myself as pregnant in Premom yet and still doing opks out of habit (big rise today πŸ˜‚) I'll update it in a few days πŸ™

No real symptoms apart from a bit of heartburn still (which must not just be a 3rd trimester thing! πŸ˜‚) Also loss of appetite and difficulty sleeping which is really unusual for me but I'd imagine that's down to nerves. I remember the tiredness last year that I'd never experienced anything like before so I'm expecting that any day now πŸ™ˆ What about you?

I can't wait to tell my OH πŸ₯Ή it took all of my willpower not to tell him on our call last night πŸ™ˆ I was really worried until I saw the fairly good lines this morning (I think I'd convinced myself that yesterdays digital was wrong) but now I'm feel a bit more hopeful that I can tell him with a tentative smile on Wednesday πŸ™

@Jadeypie thats a f ing dye steeler that ! Watch both ovarys get excited and kick an egg out each 🀣..... you didnt mention the stone you lost ( or did you πŸ€”) so that and vitamins must have helped. Well done for taking your situstion in ur own hands instead of just sitting back waiting on the nhs ! Cant wait to see how your 2ww pans out x
@Sez281 i wouldnt temp, the tests are enough surely? Your gona send urself insane lady ! Lol.... am not testing anymore....dont have any left lol why the frig you doing opks? Am confused lol my friend got heartburn early in her pregnancys, it was the only sympton she had so knew straight away. Be interesting to know about the ivf. Cos if this dosent work out, which obviously, no one wishes that, it would be umfair if you didnt still qualify.

Hankthehonk · 29/01/2024 15:52

@Sez281 that's great you are starting to believe it's real and get excited to tell your OH!
@Jadeypie wow that's a blazing opk, don't think I ever had one quite that strong! DTD to the max haha
@SnookyPook So sorry you've had this fright but really hopeful everything is ok. Let us know how you get on at the scan.

I'm not long home from hospital...baby boy is doing well but still firmly breech. We had a long wait to see a consultant after the scan, she was lovely and talked through all the options and risks (which I had already researched but still useful to have this conversation) and we decided to book an elective section. So now I need to get my head around the fact that I know when and how this baby is arriving - Tuesday 20th (unless labour starts early in which case I'd need an emergency section). It was a lot to take in and feeling a bit overwhelmed but positive about the decision.

Hankthehonk · 29/01/2024 15:54

And sorry for other updates I've missed, this chat is so busy this week I love it but hard to keep up!

SnookyPook · 29/01/2024 16:14

@Hankthehonk that's great that the consultant took so much time to talk you through everything. I can imagine it feeling a tad overwhelming but also maybe a bit calming in a weird way? You've got the when and how sorted now.. so just on countdown! My sister had one emergency section due to pre-eclampsia and one planned. She said her planned one was amazing - so chilled out and her recovery seemed amazing too! I'm sure it will all go great for you. What gestation will you be on the 20th? X

Hankthehonk · 29/01/2024 16:21

@SnookyPook Thanks! I had already made up my mind pretty much that I would opt for an elective section if he was still breech today, but read a lot of stories about people being pushed towards ECV so I wasn't sure if I'd need to put up the fight. But the consultant was so supportive, answered our many questions, took lots of time with us. All the midwives were great as well.
I've heard and read quite a lot of positive accounts of planned sections so here's hoping that will be me! I know there are risks and that recovery won't be easy but with his position and size there's nothing else for it so need to just get myself mentally prepared now. Apparently in our specific case there's less than 3% chance of him turning head down now.
I'll be 39+4 on the section date - so my main lingering worry is that labour starts before this! Hopefully not.
What time is your scan?

Paws4thought · 29/01/2024 17:10

@Hankthehonk ooo that's exciting knowing the day, did they tell you what weight they think he is at the moment?
@Sez281 I updated premom after my second test, trying to have all positive thoughts towards this pregnancy and that it will go right this time 🀞
My symptoms are pretty much the same as yours, heart burn and not great sleep although my appetite has definitely not gone, if anything I'm eating for 2 πŸ˜‚ your OH will be so happy, get the tissues ready for happy tears!

Hankthehonk · 29/01/2024 17:15

@Paws4thought he's measuring at 7lb7 already, on 91st centile! So much for low papp-a growth concerns. His big size is probably a factor in him not turning. Got another scan on the 13th.
It is exciting to know the date, if very strange. 3 weeks tomorrow he'll be here, hard to get my head around that being a certainty.

Paws4thought · 29/01/2024 17:29

@Hankthehonk ooo he's a good size already then!! I guess you know exactly when to prepare for providing he stays put for you. When do you finish work? (If you work) lol

SnookyPook · 29/01/2024 17:51

Oh wow! Haha my DS was 6lb15oz at 41+1!! Crazy how they can all be so different! Although apparently he was considered so small I'll be getting growth monitoring scans in 3rd trimester this time!

Scan is at 15.20 tomorrow. Glad I don't have to wait until Friday. The nerves are taking over again much as I'm trying to keep calm and rational. πŸ˜‘

@Paws4thought can never believe the official line is 'you don't need to eat for 2 until maybe the third trimester, and then only about 300 calories a day extra... Er yeah right! Try telling my stomach that!! Haha

Jadeypie · 29/01/2024 17:52

@Hankthehonk ohhh how exciting my little boys birthday is the 22nd. At least you've got a date that u know to be prepared for house ready ect! Lovely that they had a good chat and answered your questions. And seriously I thought that tbh these twinges I'm having I'm like what is going on I even had a google πŸ™ƒ

@SnookyPook ive just realised I havnt seen this update. I hope your okay xx

Jadeypie · 29/01/2024 17:56

@Hankthehonk oh wow big boy then haha my ds was 8lbs 3 still remember it like it was yesterday xx

Hankthehonk · 29/01/2024 18:02

Thanks everyone! My dd was 8lb5 seems like her brother will likely end up even bigger. We're both tall (I'm 5ft10 and dh is 6ft2) so I guess we were unlikely to make small babies.
@Paws4thought got 3 more days at work, Thursday is my last day! I have a job I care about a lot but definitely ready to just be in mum mode. And get a bit of rest before the wee man arrives! Hope your symptoms are bearable (you too @Sez281 ) - eat all the things!
@SnookyPook oh it's tomorrow somehow I picked up that it was today. Not long to wait, really pleased they're taking you in and hopefully it'll be all straightforward and reassuring. Will be thinking of you

Paws4thought · 29/01/2024 18:17

@SnookyPook I know, surely our bodies are working hard to grow baby so need more calories than that, seems crazy, prob a man decided it πŸ˜‚ good luck for your scan tomorrow.
@Hankthehonk definitely get a good amount of rest, make the most of it! All 3 of my ds kids were over 8lbs.
At the moment I'm wanting more symptoms to feel more like all is OK but I'll regret that if I get bad morning sickness haha

Sez281 · 29/01/2024 19:29

@Supertrooper101 I'm going to stop in a few days if I get a proper blazing test. I weirdly love the science of it thoughπŸ€“. I did the opk to see if like last year it was dark and it was nearly close to positive πŸ˜‚ When are you back in for scan?

Aww @Hankthehonk I think it's great you have a date, he's obviously so comfy he doesn't want to move β˜ΊοΈπŸ˜‚ That's a great weight! I was 10.2 and my OH was big too so dread to think what we'll produce πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚ I've a few previous medical reasons that make me think I'll probably be given a section too if we make it that far. There's always pros and cons but you've informed yourself and made the choice for you xx

@Paws4thought I think of only posted that an hour and my appetite came back with a vengeance so was probably nervous excitement rather than a symptom! I forgot to say that I've actually had a bad cramps still and a headache the last 3 days too but nothing paracetamol isn't easing. Yes I'll definitely have the tissues on standby for when I tell him πŸ™ˆπŸ₯Ή

@SnookyPook Im so glad that you're having it tomorrow instead of Friday for some reassurance. I'm sure it'll be fine but I know how your mind must be in overdrive xx

I'm officially sulking because dp has hurt his back so now I feel like I'm just out before it's even started πŸ™„ I actually feel like killing him and have zero empathy hahah xx
