@Hankthehonk aah I’m sure it seems so surreal having a date now! My wee girl was elective section and although it wasn’t really my first choice, it was a really calm and positive experience in the end.

@Jadeypie there is no denying that opk peak!! Brilliant news 🙌🏻

Sorry @Paws4thought I don’t have any advise on chicken pox in pregnancy but as others have said it must be fairly common and hopefully you can get some info from your Dr at your appointment.

@xxcxdonxx @SnookyPook oh believe I've told him!! He's being a whimp I'm so so pissed off don't even want to look at him hahahha took myself to bed with left over chocolate. All these months I've waited for that peak! Will I still be in with a chance tomorrow because I'll just pounce on him before work haha x

@Jadeypie oh no, that's bad timing, maybe a rest and back on it tomo will be enough if he really can't tonight, was it this thread people were on able using a syringe to self inseminate or something? Maybe try that 🙈
@Sez281 ooo you've got lots of symptoms then!! Our dates are going to be so similar :)

@Jadeypie Have you got a calpol baby syringe or anything? 🤔 Like @Paws4thought says it might be an option? Maybe suggest it to him. He won't put his back out dtd with a container 😂 I bought the AI syringes back in Dec as my OH was sick so got them just in case. We didn't use them in the end but I've heard loads of people have 🤷‍♀️ Have you managed any days in the lead up to peak? If so you could definitely still be in with a great shout 🤞 xx

@Paws4thought I haven't even looked at dates yet as I'm too worried 😣 but I do know it's some time in October and will do calculator thing soon 🤞. Hopefully we get to share it together 🙏 xx

@Sez281 I haven't looked closely, last time I'd literally planned my entire year up to my due date which just made me so sad when it wasn't going to happen so decided to relax about it more this time.
I'm glad it was this thread about AI syringes, might be worth an ask, @Jadeypie his back might suddenly get better haha.

I’m alright thanks @Paws4thought , had to call EPU and cancel my scan appointment this morning, I knew I wouldn’t need it when she made it as honestly I’m just getting quite used to it being bad news.
My consultant is still on leave but the midwife at EPU was able to give me my blood results which was good. I tested positive for anti-cardiolipin antibodies which can be ‘sticky blood’. I’m sure when speaking to the consultant previously she said they would retest in 12 weeks to confirm it’s positive but I wonder if there is anything they can do in the mean time. Hopefully she is back this week and I can get an appointment made 🤞🏻

@xxcxdonxx sorry that you had to make that call 😢that's great that she was able to give you those results though. I'm a way I think that an "issue" with bloods is almost better than then coming back all amazing and being left not knowing what the bell is going on. Hopefully when your consultant gets back they'll be able to shine some light on what can be done 🤞 xx

@Paws4thought curiosity got the better of me and I checked possible dates. If all goes well it's saying the 11th of Oct, just over 2 weeks before my 42nd birthday and in or around what was meant to be my due date last year 😕 Like you I'm not going to allow myself to think any where past the next few days for the next while though, taking it hour by hour at this stage 🙏

@xxcxdonxx I agree with Sez - sad and frustrating as it is, having a diagnosable reason for the recurring losses/failure to implant properly, and for it to be something treatable could be really positive in the longer term. Here's hoping you get some great and helpful input from your consultant asap and that it helps the next one to stick 🙏🏼🌈

@xxcxdonxx that's never a nice phonecall to make and difficult if they ask you why. I'm glad she was helpful and at least there is something showing on bloods that could be causing an issue, 12 weeks seems a long time for retest, it's definitely worth an ask if they can do more.
@Supertrooper101 whack one in a cup 😂😂 you definitely have a way with words.. so funny.
@Sez281 it's good having a rough idea but they may surprise us and be happy and healthy but a few weeks early anyway 🙂

@Sez281 I didn't even think of that!! But he would be mortified if I mentioned that, Im sitting him down tonight and tell him about it. He's still complaining about his back this morning, so I'm just going to take the fact I'm out. @Supertrooper101 yeh, we have, but not the last few days because I was convinced I was pg! I've still got terrible cramps! With catching this surge least I can take some positives away. 1. I know I get terrible ovulation pain and down my leg 2. I can finally work out my lutheal better. Opk dropped this morning its still really high, but it's on its way down xx

@xxcxdonxx my heart goes out to you!! Such a rough journey you've been on! @SnookyPook hits the nail on the head tho! I agree that hopefully with these results things can be put in place for you xx

@Sez281 @Paws4thought it's really sad how a loss robs you of all the exciting things, like looking up due dates and letting excitement take over. Suppose everyone in this group knows how that feels. It's a weird one because we get so desperate to get that positive to then feel terrified 😨 xx

@Jadeypie thats a bummer. He will think youve had it afew times so that will be enough 🤦‍♀️ all very well if its atthe right time lol ive never found a solid answer if the cramps are before, during or after the egg is realised. Some say it the swelling of the follicle so before, others say its the follicle rupturing that causes it. I was always curious. And then you get the odd sites that say its cos your tubes are blocked and thats why its painfull....so obviously thats where my brain sits and beleives! If he of to the app with you tomorrow. You can shame him in that saying he made u miss your 1st ever peak 😭......🤣 joking joking!

@Paws4thought are you just going to go though the normal process, midwife 12wk scan with a private one did you say inbetween?
@SnookyPook how you feeling today. Are you getting pictures everytime you go? Youl have a good collection with the pregnancy tests if so lol

@Supertrooper101 yeh, I've read some different theories over the pain. Hopefully, a day at work might loosen his back up hahahah or I might just message all kinds throughout the day to get him rallied up 😂 just for a last resort attempt. Why does it feel like you have to con them sometimes well that's how he's making me feel haha

@Jadeypie thats exactly why i went for the AI approach somtimes cos the saying is it takes two but its always us tracking sympton watching pill popping getting wound up and when the right time comes. There not arsed sometimes....deflating to say the least. U shudnt have to go out ur way to make him put the effort in if his wanting the same outcome. I do seriously think they think abit of spunk at the beginning of the mth will see us thr till the end 🤦‍♀️. How will you feel if you put all that effort in and he still says no lol id be mardy for days especially in your situation with timings etc. But then am a stubbon bugger with no inbetween 🤣 so maybe dont take the above on board haha

@Supertrooper101 I don't normally go out my way usually but I'm like no this needs to be done today so feel like I've got to put the effort in haha. I think next month I won't be telling him about the pos opk think it's made him feel abit pressured but I feel pressured every month as u say with all the tracking ect. I've been mardy since yesterday. They seriously just don't get it his attitude is it will happen when it happens xx

@Supertrooper101 I'd imagine you're counting the hours till Thursday so you can get out of this limbo 😣 Hopefully you get some answers then 🙏 xx

@Jadeypie a few love hearts on the calendar in predicted fertile window going forward might be enough of a subtle hint 😉 I used to not really make it that obvious when opks where getting darker but the last 2 cycles I told him out straight. It is a lot of pressure on them though so whatever you think is best. You never know you might not need to 🤞 xx

@Jadeypie I don't think men understand how small the window is, I found it better to tell my OH so we could do it in my fertile window and know we had best chance then have a break, so no pressure rest of the month, he did say at the start he didn't want it to be so planned but understood it helped my mood in tww haha.
@Supertrooper101 it seems to have been a long wait for your scan, how far will you be?

@Paws4thought depends which way you look at it lol i was only there last week and back this week so that sounds quick, buttttt, it was monday last week and thursday this week so that way it feels long. I should be just over 7. But given the last scan and how my body mimics pregnancy even when its not viable anymore, i dont really trust my symptons for a sure answer. No idea what the scan will show and certainly have no control so ill just roll up and deal with whatever i have to 🤷‍♀️..
@Sez281 how u getting on. I cannot beleive uv kept it quiet from ur fella, well done. Do you think he will cry too haha

@Supertrooper101 that's the best attitude to have really, hopefully they will give you a definite answer and not leave you hanging. I hope it's positive for you.
