@Sez281 yay 😁😁😁..... am in two minds about the aspirin. Am normally all for it but that heamorrage has made me doubt it. I mite take one every other day until thursday and then ask them then. If i make it that far lol

Awww @Sez281 does it feel a little bit more real seeing it in writing? When does your oh come home? I wouldn't be able to wait but I totally get why. I've done another opk with a pure diluted wee and it's the same as yesterday. I've been to boots and got a test for in the morning aswell I've had stabby cramps all day eased off now I'm home chilling xx

Wow so much to catch up on. Thanks for all your nice messages about my "me party" day - it's been lovely! Had a bath, read my book, took myself out for lunch, watched queer eye. And dd has had an amazing day out.
@Sez281 so excited for you, how do you feel seeing that undeniable bfp? I understand wanting to wait until your oh is home but not sure I could wait, I'd be calling mine!
@Supertrooper101 if in doubt about the aspirin maybe just avoid it until you're able to ask?
@Jadeypie looking forward to your morning test, will keep everything crossed for you. I guess you better keep dtd as well in case those opks mean ovulation after all?!
@Westy22 I relied on my Samsung watch for temping and it was pretty accurate, better than when I tried using the thermometer. But that doesn't help if you don't have a smart watch

@SnookyPook yes stick to this thread! Do you feel time is going slowly waiting for your 12w scan?
@Paws4thought we've got a favourite name and a backup, it was tough though we found boy names so much harder than girls for some reason! I wish I felt 100% sure about the name we've picked like I did with my daughter's name

@Sez281 oh wonderful 🥰 there is something particularly special about seeing that word 'pregnant' clearly spelt out!!

@Hankthehonk time has never gone more slowly.... Haha. The fact that I'm so exhausted the last few days is soothing my nerves a little as I am feeling more pregnant. My boobs are feeling so heavy and tender too. Hopefully all is ok in there!! We had a shortlist of boys names with DS but hadn't settled on one. When he was born, the midwife asked about the name and we shared our shortlist, and at one of them she went 'oh that's lovely! We don't get many of them!' so we looked at each other and just kind of nodded and went with it 😂 It felt like such a big responsibility picking someone's name! But I can't imagine him being anything else now. I think most kids definitely grow into their names.

@Supertrooper101 Yeah I think in your case the aspirin might not be the best idea with what's possibly gone on so maybe check first just in case

@Hankthehonk it felt like a lifetime waiting for the words to come up, I burst into tears when they did! 🥹 I'm still so crampy though and it's so early I just have to take it day by day and hope for the best.

We naively looked at names last year. Boys are definitely harder I think. I always had my heart set on one (a very generic normal lovely name) but OH doesn't like it.. I hope we get to the stage where we debate them again! 🙏

One of my good friends just called over got a cuppa and a chat. She said she had a dream 2 nights ago that I was pregnant 🙈 it absolutely killled me not telling her that I might be!
Even if I get to a few weeks I don't think we'll tell anyone for a good while. Last time it broke out hearts having to give the bad news afterwards😢. Hopefully it won't be the case this time though 🙏

So I cracked and tested tonight bfn I've had crazy twinges cramps all day hence the test. Butttt I think I've hit my peak wtf and I also have ewcm!!

Sorry for dragging use all into this shit show of a cycle of mine!! Feel like I have a answer for all my symptoms I've been having!! Feel abit gutted it's not a positive pregnancy test but hey it's the first positive opk I've had xx

Don't be silly this is literally what this thread is here for. We take every little win! And a 1st positive opk is definitely a win 🙌 It seems so late in your cycle. I know your last few have been crazy short. Have you been tested for pcos? I can't remember if you said you had.

Also I know it can be difficult with lighting st this time of night but try upload all of your tests into the Premom app when you do them. That way you're not guessing what's a peak sbd what's very high.. that definitely looks like it could be a peak though 🙌 xx

@Sez281 it does seem way to late in my cycle but my cycles havnt been normal for a while I think I've been having them ones where they aren't really real periods crnt even think of the right name for it think begins with A ha that's why they have been really short. And nope don't have it scans come bk all fine. Yeh I use the premium ap and out them in xx

@Jadeypie sorry it was a BFN but I think it's really great news that you've got a positive opk! Hopefully this is the start of your cycles normalising, and with that will definitely come a better chance of conceiving. So, definitely take the win 💕 Who knows, this may still be The Cycle!

@Jadeypie oh annovulation? That might make sense and explain a lot actually🤔. It all started in the summer when you started spotting around ovulation didn't it? Hopefully the positive opk means that you'll get a proper AF and normal cycles going forward now.. or as @SnookyPook say this could be your cycle 🙏 xx

I've got pcos and irregular cycles which I got under control to an extent through diet and exercise before ttc again (I was diagnosed when ttc my daughter). But cycles went a bit haywire again after my mc and this pregnancy happened because I caught ovulation on day 39 of my cycle. Wouldn't have caught if it wasn't for testing every day.
Maybe it's not pcos in your case but hoping catching it this time means you're in luck!

@Sez281 when I was pregnant with my little girl it was covid times so we weren’t really seeing anyone. One of my friends text me saying she had a dream I was pregnant so ended up telling them that evening! I have such a good feeling for you 🌈

@Jadeypie never apologise, we are here for it all.
I had anovulatory cycles when I came off the pill, I had 3 periods in a year and it was really stressful not knowing what was going on.
I know you would have liked to see a bfp but it’s a win to get that positive opk and hopefully this is the one for you!

Thats af arrived for me today, just glad it wasn’t delayed too much and can look forward to the next.

@Jadeypie awww dont apologise,like the rest have said, this is your safe place to vent away 🙂 you probably have, but have you got all your cycles detailed ready for your appointment? My inositl and d chira is meant to help cycles like yours, worth a read and also conceive plus ovulation support. Your body may be a little bit confused but its trying, you cant fault that lol
@xxcxdonxx Are you going to update your consultant with what happened? Least you will find out about your bloods, tomorrow is it?

@Jadeypie ah that's great if you're ovulating, hopefully this is the start of more normal cycles if you don't get a bfp at the end of this month.

Anyone have any experience of chicken pox when pregnant? I'm not sure if I've had chicken pox before but had a blood test last time which said I had immunity. I worked with a child thurs whose parent rang up sat to say he's now covered in chicken pox spots so I'm feeling paranoid about it now, spoke to Dr surgery who said nothing can be done and to call if get symptoms.

Morning all. I coughed and had a sharp pain last night and then some spotting and went into panic mode 😩 my Women's Health Unit have been so lovely though. Given my history they've booked me a scan for tomorrow afternoon, even though it's my official 12wk scan Friday as they know it would be horrible going in to that feeling anxious.

The rational part of me knows the pain was probably round ligament pain given it was when I coughed. And the spotting could be anything including the pessaries. But I just saw pink and my heart sank.

It's my little boys 3rd birthday tomorrow so really hope everything is ok.

Gargh I hate this. Why is everything so nerve-wracking 😩 I'd been doing so well lately too!!

@Paws4thought aw that's a worry for you. Just remember how many pregnant women have toddlers... I'm sure loads have had chicken pox etc and been fine. Hopefully you will avoid contracting it anyway given you've shown immunity etc. xx

@SnookyPook ah how worrying, at least the pain is associated to the cough and not random, I'm glad they've got you in for tomorrow though so the anxiety can't build too much.
Yeah I did think there must be loads of people with other children that have been in a similar position, it's just another thing to worry about 🫣

@Supertrooper101 oh I am armed with all my cycle tracking haha I've actually been tracking my cycle since 2017 with the odd break so I have plenty of cycles to go over but more importantly this last year and abit. Xx

@Hankthehonk I found names so so hard me and dp could not agree and we didn't no what we was having soon as he was born I said his name (james) and we both went that's it. I couldn't imagine him with any other and he sounds too cute when he says "me I'm james" ha xx

@Paws4thought only when I was a kid. Hopefully you have dodged it. Try not to worry least you no what to look out for and have had advise off the gp or @Supertrooper101 might have the knowledge hahaha xx

Oh also I got even a higher opk this morning so use think I should take another one round dinner because I think it might just not be at peak yet xx

@Sez281 I've attached my temp chart but I don't think there's much to interpret yet as I didn't start actually temping till mid cycle, I'll just keep going and see what happens. My LH is risining again and boobs feel heavy so I'd be lying If I wasn't being really hopeful 🤣 bloods came back normal so my progesterone plan didn't work 🙈 booked in to see them again in two weeks to look at what I can I do next 🤞

Hope your scan tomorrow gives you the reassurance you need @SnookyPook I totally get why you would panic.

@Paws4thought i cought it again but not in pregnancy and it was shingles this that time tho as i had already had chicken pox. Yiur drs sound super helpfull.....not....lol ...what does google say lol
@SnookyPook your bound to be scared and you did the right thing. Whats the difference between the womans health unit and epu? Has the bleeding stopped x

@Westy22 the progesterone theory was worth a try lol i have no clue with those charts. Tried them omce with googles help and absolutley did my head in so scrapped em off and went by my temps just wrote down. But to me. From my little google search, that second dip could mean conception. But i had dips and it dint mean shit so i ant a clue 🤷‍♀️ but good luck ! Lol ..
