TTC after early miscarriage

Morning!
So I sadly suffered an early miscarriage at 5w just over a fortnight ago.

We have 3 children already (6,4 and 19m) and I'm 40, hubby 47.

Lovely staff at EPU said crack on again as soon as I'm ready- and not to worry about having a period first.

I've always had pretty irregular cycles anyway and have never tracked ovulation (we have been very lucky and fallen pregnant super easily- and this was my first MC).

I think I have just ovulated (Sunday) which was 14 days since spotting (main bleed from miscarriage was Tues 11, Weds 12 Oct).

My symptoms were bloating on Fri and Saturday, and real drop in mood over the weekend (I've noticed this has happened a few times a couple of weeks before period since cycles started after DD was born), by yesterday my mood was much more stable again. On Sunday I had mild nausea and very mild cramping (more like little twinges).
We DTD Sunday night.

So have fingers crossed that something might have happened!

I noticed yesterday evening and today I'm peeing more than usual but apparently that can be a sign of ovulation too.

I'm going to be a crazy lady symptom
spotting for a fortnight now! Have a cervical screening booked for a week today (wondering if I should cancel it?!)

What's the earliest anyone has had symptoms after DTD that turned out to be early pregnancy? And how many DPO have you got a positive?

@Holly0609 I doubt you'd get an evap on 2 different types of tests so that looks like positives! Fingers crossed for you I know it's hard to feel excited when they are still so faint. Another couple of days and hopefully it will be clearer for you 🤞

Negative here for me so just waiting for AF to kick in now. I suppose I can enjoy a glass of wine for New Year's Eve tomorrow to soften the blow 😅 I've now reached 6 months of TTC for my second. It took 16 months with my son so only another 10 months to go now possibly 😂

@Holly0609 ah I'd say the first response is positive 😍 looks like my early one!! X

@Holly0609 i think at 11dpo it’s normal to be faint so I would say it definitely looks positive! I get really happy when I see positive news from you ladies it gives me hope, my fingers are crossed for you!

OH and I went chatting the other night and he said he’s disappointed that I’m not pregnant again yet. We never had to really try with the previous two pregnancies (2nd being the MC) which obviously was very lucky and also the post loss anxiety is obviously greater. Praying we all get our BFP in the new year x

Eeeek @ThelastRolo20 @mumsince2021 @Cat2022 I’m scared 😭 worried it’s an indent but praying it’s not!! I’ve read far too many things about people getting false positives.
I do one clear blue digital 6 days early one in the house, I’ve thought about doing it later tonight but I’m scared so may wait until the morning when I know it will be more accurate, if it is a positive?! Even though the wait is torture 🥺

@Holly0609 they're too obvious to see to be indents 🤩 wait until tomorrow as digitals need a bit more hormone to register I think!

I ovulated this month after my loss last month so we weren't sure whether to try or wait but we BD'd once during the window.

Super scared! 9DPO today 🤞

the other tests haven’t got any darker either, and only the tiniest hint of pink in first response that you can’t see on the camera! ☹️

@Holly0609 I see the first response line straight away 🤔 remember they're early tests and digitals aren't. How many DPO are you? These to me aren't counting you out yet!

@Holly0609 these are mine at 10 DPO - would be too early for a digital and look exactly like yours!

I’m 12DPO today though

The clearblue digital one I did does say it’s a 6 day early one though?!
So, so cruel if two different tests are giving false positives 🥺💔

@Holly0609 two days difference is nothing - all depends on when it implanted! Also, tests are up to 6 days early and are never guaranteed.

I can't promise it's good news but I wouldn't count yourself out yet. See what tomorrow brings but I really don't think they're false positives!

I agree I wouldn’t lose all hope as the digital tests are a lot less sensitive.

I dont have any pregnancy symtpoms but dont have any period symptoms either though.. so we’ll see. I felt so nervous testing this morning - it’s horrible 💔
I can totally see why people don’t test early now ☹️☹️

I have now officially entered the TWW (again!!) and I'm not getting my hopes up- don't feel all that positive but pretty sure I ovulated 29/30 and BD'd on 20,22,25,27,29 and this morning just incase! 😂 no mean feat with so many kids roaming around hahaha!

Still gonna have a glass of fizz later for NYE in the bath!

This is such a horrible feeling!
Hopefully tomorrow I’ll know either way.
I don’t have any digital ones left, not sure whether to waste more money buying more or to just wait and test with my first response ones until they hopefully go darker / my dreaded period comes 😭

Enjoy the fizz tonight regardless. I'm counting down to wednesday when I'm having an early scan (7+1). Unfortunately my husband can't come so it better be good news 😂

@Holly0609 testing early definitely is a two edged sword. I'd use another cheap one tomorrow and if there's still a line maybe a digital the day after? If you can hold off for a couple of days even better xx
