TTC after early miscarriage

Morning!
So I sadly suffered an early miscarriage at 5w just over a fortnight ago.

We have 3 children already (6,4 and 19m) and I'm 40, hubby 47.

Lovely staff at EPU said crack on again as soon as I'm ready- and not to worry about having a period first.

I've always had pretty irregular cycles anyway and have never tracked ovulation (we have been very lucky and fallen pregnant super easily- and this was my first MC).

I think I have just ovulated (Sunday) which was 14 days since spotting (main bleed from miscarriage was Tues 11, Weds 12 Oct).

My symptoms were bloating on Fri and Saturday, and real drop in mood over the weekend (I've noticed this has happened a few times a couple of weeks before period since cycles started after DD was born), by yesterday my mood was much more stable again. On Sunday I had mild nausea and very mild cramping (more like little twinges).
We DTD Sunday night.

So have fingers crossed that something might have happened!

I noticed yesterday evening and today I'm peeing more than usual but apparently that can be a sign of ovulation too.

I'm going to be a crazy lady symptom
spotting for a fortnight now! Have a cervical screening booked for a week today (wondering if I should cancel it?!)

What's the earliest anyone has had symptoms after DTD that turned out to be early pregnancy? And how many DPO have you got a positive?

I'm baffled. Late late now (as in pre MC cycles) negative test again! I definitely o as Dr Google (extremely reliable of course 😜) says if you had a cycle where you skipped o you don't have egg whites etc etc. Had all the cramps too. I don't even feel like my period is coming right now.

I'm thinking wait until the next weekend and if nothing re test? Any thoughts? Going super crazy, extra crazy tww here....

@Claudiasaz how confusing! I guess all you can do is continue the really fun waiting game! I think even with egg whites you can skip ovulation but I'm no Dr Google.... But even if you didn't ovulate weird that AF is late. Just got to keep testing I guess?.😅

I thought this too but I definitely had my usual o cramping. I am sooooo fed up with it now. I just want to know either way! 🤦🏼‍♀️

By the way had emailed CB about my flashing saga and they said likely faulty test..🤨 Offered me a free one- I said no thank you I don't fancy being in flashing smiley land again! 😂

@Claudiasaz yeah the not knowing is crap quite frankly! Hope you know either way soon - when are you next going to test if AF doesn't arrive?

Love the fact you contacted them, and totally agree to sack them off next time. No one needs that level of confusion 😂

@Claudiasaz that is annoying about the tests! I hope you get an answer soon and praying for good news. I was about a week late when I finally got a BFP with my daughter.

I have very sore boobs today but trying to ignore it as only 5dpo could be either way I guess.

Sorry I've been quiet- yes hubby made it back on Friday- he flew literally right over the house and then surprised the kids in the afternoon at a the kids' Christmas party on base. However there's a high chance he'll have to scoot off again so just keeping fingers crossed and enjoying him whilst he's home!

Managed to DTD Friday night but I'm pretty sure I missed the window... and with his work I feel like we are really unlikely to get our fourth. Will just DTD when he's around and hope for the best I guess!

Hi ladies, sorry I've been a bit quiet for a while, it was my daughters 1st heavenly birthday recently so I was staying off my phone, keeping busy and celebrating her with friends and family and it really helped me mentally ♥️ I'm still here though and hoping you are all doing ok!

Never had a cycle this long ever. 😤

Not going to lie starting to worry a bit as not had an issue with getting pregnant 😕 I guess it was only cycle 2 trying 🤦🏼‍♀️ feels a lot longer to be honest.... 🫠

@Claudiasaz such a long cycle! I'm glad you got an answer either way but how confusing for you. How are you feeling?

My hubby got home Friday and goes again this Friday 😔 he will probably miss Christmas but we will remain optimistic!!

So early last week I had a peak LH (though not as strong as the month before)- and it was only one one ov test- I didn't track over the following days- but today I still feel like there's watery, quite "slippery" cm - though not loads.

According to the Flo app - based on the limited data and last cycle, the prediction is today would be ovulation. But I'm not going to do any more pee strips, we DTD on Friday, again this morning and will do tonight too, and again before DH leaves. I just can't get my knickers in a knot over it right now- as I can't control when he's going to be around.

And last night at a wreath making thing with friends, one of the girls excitedly announced she's 12w pregnant and due in June- when I should have been due so that was a huge kick to the heart 💔

And just to top it all off, my difficult and narcissistic mother is in a bloody health crisis and causing sister and I huge amount of stress!!

Pass me the gin 😭😭😭

Not great to be honest. I really felt like I did in my pregnancy last time so I feel like maybe some stuff happened but it didn't complete. Does that make sense?

It's more the worry of why is it not happening as that's not been an issue before.

I'm still just spotting so waiting for proper period now. Time to treat myself to that second coffee 😂

Makes total sense @Claudiasaz. When I had a chemical the 2nd cycle after my miscarriage I had all the same symptoms. Although in my case I also got faint positives on tests so I know something definitely happened. Then last month I had zero symptoms and af came bang on time. I’m so sorry you’re going through such a rubbish time with it.

im cd12 now and have some ovulation symptoms. Managed to dtd day 10 and 11 but now OH is away tonight and back late tomorrow so hoping ovulation has happened or is about to.

I'm 12DPO and got a BFN this morning, so I expect I'm out. I have such bad bloating today though it's insane!

@Vic231 Just caught up, I hope you are doing okay that must’ve been a tough time but glad you had your friends/ family around. 12 DPO I wouldn’t rule anything out yet.

@Claudiasaz I’m finding it feels like a long time too even though it’s only second cycle so just my mind running away.

I’m 9 dpo currently and the sore boobs have got worse. Im due AF Sunday based on pre MC cycles so not too long to wait and see and I am nervous either way.

This is the thing. I had extremely sore boobs the whole tww, back ache, cramping, shooting v pains, heaps of creamy cm. All things when I've been pregnant! So weird!

Anyway I will be taking a break for Christmas so best of luck to you all! X

My body is certainly trying to confuse me!!

This afternoon have LOADS of very egg whitey CM.
Thought maybe just maybe I am having a second peak? But, nope, peed on a stick with excitement to see if there's a chance but there isn't even a a whisper of a line in the window 🤨

@RaisingCornishWildlings I've given up on CM as it seems to pick up at the end of my cycle and give me false hope every month 🤦‍♀️ always tough hearing pregnancy announcements with a recent loss but even harder when it's a due date that you would have had. I've had to unfollow a woman on Instagram who is due in June as we were as she shared an early scan photo and I don't think I want to follow the pregnancy right now it's just too difficult. Of course happy for her but just too hard to see the posts just now. Glad to hear you've got some chances in for this cycle now.

I'm just waiting for AF to arrive to move on to 2024 as I just have a feeling it's a no this cycle given it was one time we DTD and I just don't catch quickly. I do hope someone else here has a lucky cycle this month

This is why I need to take a Xmas break it's driving me mad 😂 I think cycles take a while to become normal again in my experience 😬

Ladies I’ve had a chemical pregnancy this month… thought it was my period because heavy bleeding and then Monday I had some odd stuff going on, it’s lasted longer than a period usually would so I tested tonight and I’m 1-2 weeks on CBD.. I’m feeling even more deflated now xx
