TTC after early miscarriage

Morning!
So I sadly suffered an early miscarriage at 5w just over a fortnight ago.

We have 3 children already (6,4 and 19m) and I'm 40, hubby 47.

Lovely staff at EPU said crack on again as soon as I'm ready- and not to worry about having a period first.

I've always had pretty irregular cycles anyway and have never tracked ovulation (we have been very lucky and fallen pregnant super easily- and this was my first MC).

I think I have just ovulated (Sunday) which was 14 days since spotting (main bleed from miscarriage was Tues 11, Weds 12 Oct).

My symptoms were bloating on Fri and Saturday, and real drop in mood over the weekend (I've noticed this has happened a few times a couple of weeks before period since cycles started after DD was born), by yesterday my mood was much more stable again. On Sunday I had mild nausea and very mild cramping (more like little twinges).
We DTD Sunday night.

So have fingers crossed that something might have happened!

I noticed yesterday evening and today I'm peeing more than usual but apparently that can be a sign of ovulation too.

I'm going to be a crazy lady symptom
spotting for a fortnight now! Have a cervical screening booked for a week today (wondering if I should cancel it?!)

What's the earliest anyone has had symptoms after DTD that turned out to be early pregnancy? And how many DPO have you got a positive?

I feel blessed to have fallen pregnant, I’m in my late 30’s so wasn’t sure it would happen. I really struggled to believe it was real, was so happy but nervous. Having the MC has really shaken me but I know I will be OK again soon, my OH has been amazing.
I’ve not left the house all week except to go to the doctors and EPU, so I’ve booked a hair cut for tomorrow to get me out and about again.

@mumsince2021 I'd wait a few more days before testing and attempting sex 😂 but that's just me!

When I conceived last time we only had sex once, which was the day of my peak so I was pleasantly surprised to get pregnant (obviously didn't work out).

I've done my first OPK today and it's very faint, but that's in line with my normal cycle so happy about that. If this spotting doesn't continue (it's so annoying) we'll try about 3/4 times over the next week or so...I'm exhausted just thinking about it 😂

@ThelastRolo20 haha this made me laugh. Me and my husband are both so tired 😂

CD38 for me today. I'm so confused - No AF but my boob hurts a lot - particularly the right one and my left ovary seemed to hurt a lot in bed last night and so did my lower back. I'm thinking I might have had a super delayed ovulation?? and therefore, AF isn't due for another 2 weeks. Gutted if it's the case as we haven't DTD in over a week because DH has been working away.

@Roxystar23 it could be! At least you'll know where you stand if period comes!

I did an ov test last night and was still flashing (day 9 of flashing)so I'm scrapping them. So I don't know if I've ovulated already or not to be honest 😂 I have period type pains today - maybe another early period or maybe haven't ov yet. Either way I'm not doing anymore -this month at least.

I don't know if I'm in the 2 week wait or not, I guess it's a "keep going for now" here 😬

@Claudiasaz day 9! Surely you've ovulated somewhere in there 😂 cycle day 11 here, still some spotting annoyingly but is slowing down

Nothing to report here either - I’m also questioning ovulation!

had my static smiley Monday, but testing low on cheap OPK’s.
Yesterday morning it went a lot darker so I was feeling really positive but back to being faint the rest of the day and today. So I think my body was potentially trying to ovulate but not happening!
I have been getting EWCM and some spotting last 2 days so who knows 🤷🏽‍♀️

Having a really bad day today. Went back to work on Tuesday (had 6 weeks off work after miscarriage) and couldn’t stop myself from crying today so I’ve come home. Feel so frustrated with myself ☹️.

Thought I would POAS just because of the whole boob thing.

Can I borrow yours eyes please? Is that a line? Not sure if it’s me just wanting to see something there. Surely because of how long ago my last period was I would be expecting something a little more stronger than that?

@Roxystar23 that is definitely a line, congratulations!! Maybe you ovulated late or potentially twice in a cycle so the later one when you weren’t looking for it x

I'm pleased see some hope here but I honestly feel I can't say congrats yet @Roxystar23 just because of what we've all been through. But I have my fingers crossed for you that this ends well!

How's everyone doing this morning? I'm now in the TWW! We DTD this morning for luck 😂 and managed to do 5 days out of the last 8! Not sure how well timed as didn't do ovulation sticks this month to take the pressure off a bit - so we shall see! Now two weeks of trying to have lots of busy plans, thank goodness for Christmas 😂

Thanks everyone. I’ve done another test this morning using a different brand and that one was a definite positive. Lots of mixed emotions at the moment.

Hoping this one sticks and I also hope it gives hope that even if anyone has a cycle as messed up as mine post MC and took an eternity to be rid of HCG - our bodies can still work.

Have you ever tried Accupuncture? Someone recommended it to me following my last MC and it’s been amazing for helping with the emotions x

So I had egg white's yesterday evening and felt like that wet/damp feeling most of the afternoon. That would be really early for me to enter Fertile window on CD12 as normally I have longer cycles!

And annoyingly my husband said yesterday he doesn't think we will make it home next week now as the situation has changed a bit, so I'm feeling grumpy about that!

@RaisingCornishWildlings ah that's so frustrating but the ewcm can last a while so you may not ovulate too soon! Worth testing to see what's happening?

@Claudiasaz how are you doing? My bleeding has finally stopped and OPKs still super light. Hoping something happens next week
