Anyone trying for a 3rd child?

We've started 3 cycles ago trying for our 3rd. I'm going to be 41 soon and both me and DH feel exactly the same about this, feels like going for a 3rd is a bit insane, with all the challenges in logistics, but at the same time it feels like we both really want it ❤️ We're sort of going for a leap of faith... is anyone in the same boat?

Just came here to say I had my 3rd DD in November when my others were 3 and 5… had all the comments about holidays, car etc etc but i always hoped for 3 and life is chaotic but wonderful and I can honestly say we haven’t found any logistical issues really so far. Obviously it’s hard work but so is two, and with my eldest at nursery and school I had some days each week of maternity leave just with baby. Good luck everyone!

Oh mine fight too, sometimes it feels like I live in a battlefield 😖 and it's so triggering for me! Drives me mad! 😅

Yeah I'm hoping to arrange some more drop-offs for my eldest and my youngest will continue at nursery where I can increase the hours he's going if needed, so that I can rest during the pregnancy and then can be with baby ❤️
My eldest is fine, she's really calm and is older, it's my youngest that's boisterous and so energetic 😅

Hope everyone else is doing ok this week. I'm going to test tonight or tomorrow I think. Still no AF and from yesterday afternoon onwards I've started to feel like I probably am pregnant. Been having those mild cramps but they don't seem to be AF cramps. So it seems a day after ovulation peak/pains is not too late to conceive 🙈🤷‍♀️ will know for sure later!

@GinAndBearIt90 I’m 10dpo today, so not definitely out yet but I can feel AF brewing!

It sounds like things are looking good for you - make sure you update us when you’ve done a test!

@Clettercletterthatsbetter sorry that you’re getting a BFN but you still have plenty of time.. I was speaking to SIL today and she didn’t get her BFP until 16dpo.

@Rightnow1245 definitely a positive OPK that one 👍

CD18 here, strongest OPK I had was on day 10 but I tend of ovulate late. DS was conceived when I ovulated on CD23 with a 30/32 day cycle so my luteal phase is short but have had a few anovulatory cycles too so we shall see. DH is being a bit rubbish mind, we're on holiday and the kids are knackering but still 😤

@Clettercletterthatsbetter Have you done any other tests today? When pregnant with my middle I tested negative in the morning but positive in the evening!

I’m going to test again in the morning. I really don’t think this is our month though (I’m getting used to negative tests now we’re 6 months in!)

I have just POAS and this is defo a positive opk 🙌 how many days do you do the DTD after get a positive opk?

According to SMEP three days after a positive opk, skip a day and one for luck. But that's an awful lot of pressure I think!

@HopefullMumto4 That is a lot of pressure.. we might just do tonight and then see how we feel.. I don’t want to make it not fun as it might not happen quickly and don’t want to make it a chore 😊

Also in agreement with those of you talking about the sibling fighting. My girls have a 3 year gap and the squabbling is incessant. I'm not sure it's the age gap though, I think it's just their personalities!

I've never used those 🤔 that looks positive though 😅 if it was an HCG one it was positive for sure!
