BBTing our way to a BFP in August 🎉

Hi all!
My body has begun a new cycle in its quest to torture me with cycles that are getting a day longer at a time 😅 so I thought I'd see if anyone wants to join me in BBT charting this month!

DH and I are currently TTC #1, we started in June so are on CD1 of cycle #3 now and I wanted to start doing something a bit more to track without feeling like I'm constantly peeing on some kind of stick 😂 I've previously tried charting in April and May to prevent pregnancy but I hadn't quite got the hang of it yet so the charts were a bit all over the place. My chart since restarting BBT on Sunday already seems a lot more stable than it was last time so hopefully it'll give me some more info this time!

Ive just done another OPK test and its gone down to 3.5 but my pee was very diluted.
Im going to check again before i go bed. Really dont know whats happening this cycle lol

Hey! Just got home after a very delayed 4 flights today! 😵‍💫 did another opk after loads of cm today and still nil! I reckon I will have a big jump tomorrow or the day after so dtd starts tonight! I'm so tired though 😂 13 hours at work has done me in!

At least my opk's are consistent! I know I can get a peak but it's just when! X

Good luck to you ladies ovulating early!! That means the tww will be shorter than you thought!! 🙌🏽

@CatiaR nightmare 🙄 hopefully you can be back on the usual rhythm tomorrow and it's still early enough that you'll have caught it!
Also we used to live near Newport until fairly recently 😁👋

oh that’s cool! We’ve been here for almost 3 years now, started off in Swansea but jobs progressively moved us closer to Newport.

@Hotmalibu94 ain't that the truth! 🤣 it's my predicted ov day today and my test looked a bit darker this morning so I reckon flo has got it right again xx

@CatiaR oh cool! I've been in Wales 4 years now!

I did two temps this morning and I didn't double check either of them and I don't know which to go for 😂 I'm just gonna use the one that matches yesterday's, it was either that or an even lower temp so I'm not sure if that one is just an erroneous reading.

@Hotmalibu94 Since I've moved from Portugal to UK we have been in Wales since my husband always lived here but I like it 😄

My temps have been not super stable but I can tell the higher ones were the days that our room was very warm! so at least I know why and only went up about 0.2 to 0.3 so I'd say fairly stable considering I know the reasons why it was up that little bit.

Can't wait to see today's opk after yesterdays fiasco so hopefully it would have increased again as I get closer to my fertile week, a few more days to go for that and a week till O day!

@thejollytrolleydolly love it! I was actually wondering how people did opks while at work. I get ovulations pains within a couple of hours of peak opk and combined with bbt I generally know that I've ovulated. I won't this cycle for the reason above (I'm not that stressed about timing yet!) but I was thinking I'd probably have to buy some of the expensive midstream tests so i don't have the awkwardness of taking a pot and a stick to the loo

@Throwawy oh I have no shame me! I'll happily take my lil pot and stick to the loo 😂 grotty airport toilets aren't the best though! 🤢 x

Update on me... I honestly dont know whats happening with my OPKs its going up and down, im only on CD10 so I guess its still early.
Just going to stick to the plans of having sex every other day and hopefully we wont miss it. I wish I had signs/symptoms of ovulating though like @Throwawy

Hiya, CD10 today and had a dark OPK yesterday, even darker than the day before. But today the line is so faint 😅

Hello fellow one-tuber!

I'm still only on first cycle of though (tube ruptured/removed last month) and still on AF.

@Throwawy sorry to hear that ☹️ it's an absolutely awful thing to go through. My Left tube ruptured Jan22, I have had a baby since then conceived soon after and i am already trying for number 2 🫣 I have a suspicion I might have Endo so want to TTC my final baby incase it gets any worse and causes further problems down the line leaving it even more difficult to conceive x

We are both on CD10, which CD do you usually ovulate on? Mines normally CD16/CD17.
This is my first clomid cycle.
I really do hope we all get our positives this cycle! Would be so nice to be in the pregnancy journey with due dates so closeby 🙈

Thank you 😊 I normally ovulate around CD15 give or take 1 day, I'm hoping sooner rather than later this month as I'm on holiday at the end of the month and want AF to miss the occasion 😅 or even better not to turn up at all x

@pinkmarshmalloww that's basically what we're doing. We weren't going to try again until next year, the ectopic was an accident (turns out I can't count days between dtd and ovulation), but after the ectopic and finding out I definitely have endometriosis and strong advice from gynae we're trying sooner.

Just done my opk for the day and still fairly low so maybe will have a spike closer to ovulation as well not sure, but predicted only next week so we’ll see how that goes

my highest was when I tested at 4pm so might have to have a look if the time I’m testing makes a difference at all?

BBT is looking alright I think? The higher temps I know it was the mornings that our bedroom had been super hot during the night (we tend to keep the windows open all the time but when it rains can get too humid), so I guess its just waiting for now!

I think some of you are very close to starting TWWs again so that’s exciting 😂
