BBTing our way to a BFP in August 🎉

Hi all!
My body has begun a new cycle in its quest to torture me with cycles that are getting a day longer at a time 😅 so I thought I'd see if anyone wants to join me in BBT charting this month!

DH and I are currently TTC #1, we started in June so are on CD1 of cycle #3 now and I wanted to start doing something a bit more to track without feeling like I'm constantly peeing on some kind of stick 😂 I've previously tried charting in April and May to prevent pregnancy but I hadn't quite got the hang of it yet so the charts were a bit all over the place. My chart since restarting BBT on Sunday already seems a lot more stable than it was last time so hopefully it'll give me some more info this time!

AF has arrived today two days late, was expecting it after last couple of days of spots, back ache and BFNs. On to the next cycle! Better luck to the rest of you ☘️

the weekend ended on a tiring note - someone tell my 10 month old puppy that biting bees/wasps is not a good idea 🙈

a few hours later and a lot £££ later she is getting better and this picture was already after the IV at the vets, she was wayyyyy puffier before I took her to the vets 🤦‍♀️

@Hotmalibu94 she’s much better today thank you 😊 it was fairly busy there bless them - hoping insurance will recover the costs later.

I’m taking today’s BBT reading with a grain of salt as I’ve taken it after I jumped out of bed suddenly to let her out (stupid me in all the mess yesterday forgot to let her out for a pee before bedtime once more and she had an accident in her crate). So its taken a dip, hoping it will come back up tomorrow otherwise could be out although AF is not due till next week (heard about implantation dip but not always a thing so fingers crossed!)

I spent Sunday afternoon in AE and then the EPU. Theyve called me back today for a transvaginal scan. Just really hoping everythings ok. Atm theyre questioning ectopic pregnancy. Feel so upset and crappy right now 😭

I've managed to hold off testing until now. I'm currently still in bed in a hotel room in London. Thinking of running out to the pharmacy at the bottom of the road and picking up a test before I have a wee. 11dpo today. I left my tests behind at home because I've been soo good at not testing the last 10 days. But I've been so unnecessarily gassy and been having literal puddles of CM yesterday, I just want to test and see where I'm at 😅

We had a late night last night. Took my husband to AEW: All In and I thought I wouldn't be into it. But I actually had a really good time! Hoping he wakes up soon so I can nip to the pharmacy before my bladder bursts 😅 I don't want to sneak out and worry him if he wakes up. Will keep you posted :)

Hi all, I've really enjoyed following your journeys this month, i'm learning a lot as i'm a first time tracker.

I'm CD25 and I think 9DO (as you can see from the chart, ovulation was never picked up), my LH and BBT took a dip this morning, is it normal to have slight fluctuations or am i out?

BTW i think my chart is all over the place thanks to getting used to the thermometer and having mixed sleep thanks to the summer holidays. Only started tracking LH through premom on CD19

@Huriya i hope everything is okay and you get some answers and reassurance from today.

The EWCM I had the last few days appears that it could have been ovulation, according to Ovusense I ovulated on Thursday - see attached. So let’s see what happens now. We didn’t DTD on Thursday or Friday but did Tuesday and Wednesday so there may have been swimmers still there.

@bettyaboo I don't have an answer for you unfortunately. All I can say is try not to overthink it. Stress isn't good when TTC even though TTC is stressful 😅 you're not out until AF arrives.

@Ncl31 hopefully there were some swimmers in there to help fertilise your little eggy. Keeping my fingers crossed for you! 🤞🏽🤞🏽

@Myna13 if I’m to go with a 14 day LP AF is due 2 days before we fly to USA. I’ll do a HPT that day and everyday until we go if AF hasn’t arrived.
it’ll be a nice start to our second honeymoon if we get a BFP!
the only down side to it is I’ll have to tell me parents straight away as they’re coming to Disney world with us and will wonder why I’m not going on the rides (I’m a big adrenaline junkie)
So there’s positives this morning wether it’s a BFP or AF arrives.

11dpo today and I finally caved and tested. BFN. So now I feel like my CM is lying to me and I’m definitely out. I know it’s still early(ish) and that a more accurate time to test will be around 13–14dpo. So will maybe try again in a few days.

@Huriya how are you doing? What caused you to end up in EPU? :( hope everything is ok now! 💕

@Myna13 sorry about the BFN but definitely not out, still very early so keeping my fingers crossed for you in a few days time 🤞 when is AF due?

@Ncl31 sounds like a win win situation! bfp or amazing rides 😊 something to look forward to either way. Ovusense seems interesting, you’re definitely in the chance with the days you managed to get even if not the later part.

@Myna13 aww, you could have just implanted or about to so still very much in the run until AF shows. Fingers crossed for you!

I did have a slight dip below coverline today which I’m hoping will go back up tomorrow but we’ll see! Not long till I can test too, just need to get through this week 😂

I’m sure I’ll be a bit sad if not successful this month but honestly learnt so much this month that already made it worth it!

Morning everyone hope everyone's well. I got my bfp and according to my last af im 5 weeks and 6 days pregnant. Im a bit worried as I've had no signs of sickness. In my last pregnancy I started nausea before getting the bfp and went to full on HG throughout. I've not had heightened sense of smell or is it because I lost that because of covid 2 years ago. I don't feel sick. I'm really bloated, I've had sharp pains in my lower abdomen and occasional back pain. I feel a lot more tired. I'm worried this pregnancy won't progress or maybe this time around it will be no sickness I hope.

@Onegoingonmaybe2 congrats on your pregnancy! I’d say don’t worry too much since all pregnancies are different even if you had been pregnant before, your symptoms sound positive so hang on there. Will you have a booking appointment soon? If so you can ask them about it?

AF due for me today but temp has stayed high and no signs of AF.. but still BFN this morning, hoping I’ve just been super late for implantation! Will test again tomorrow or Wednesday!
