BBTing our way to a BFP in August 🎉

Hi all!
My body has begun a new cycle in its quest to torture me with cycles that are getting a day longer at a time 😅 so I thought I'd see if anyone wants to join me in BBT charting this month!

DH and I are currently TTC #1, we started in June so are on CD1 of cycle #3 now and I wanted to start doing something a bit more to track without feeling like I'm constantly peeing on some kind of stick 😂 I've previously tried charting in April and May to prevent pregnancy but I hadn't quite got the hang of it yet so the charts were a bit all over the place. My chart since restarting BBT on Sunday already seems a lot more stable than it was last time so hopefully it'll give me some more info this time!

@Hotmalibu94 I would keep trying! If you have a baby you could always come for the day do and not the evening and if it takes a couple more months you can go to the wedding preggo! You will be able to work around whatever happens so don't worry 😊

@Myna13 fingers crossed that's it then! I've never had implantation bleeding before so I just assumed it was af. It was the tiniest bit though and I've had nothing since and the cramps have stopped too. I'll do a test in the morning and see if anything has changed xx

@Myna13 fingers crossed, since I haven't done any BD last week but did yesterday and today and planning for tomorrow so hopefully that gives me enough chance, and if happens good if not at least I know what the heck to expect next month although I can see that my cycles are a bit odd - sort of regular in my way but odd 😅

that's true I will be 1DPO tomorrow so a few days behind you now then :)

Hey everyone been so busy at work today havent had the chance to catch up on msgs yet.
@Hotmalibu94 The thing with pregnancy is you just never know when its going to happen. I personally wouldnt delay my family planning for a wedding. Like someone said above if its someone who genuinly cares they would understand the situation at the time. Of course the rest is upto you 💖

I caved in and did a digital. Couldnt hold off any longer. It actually feels real now 🙈

@CatiaR you've managed to BD when you LH was high & peak so that should be fine I think. We all have different cycles, and that's okay. I've got a 33 day cycle usually. But can go up to 34 and 35 sometimes. So I'm only now learning how I ovulate. It sometimes feels like I do early but then I peak later. You'll figure it out soon! And the OPKs will help.

I tested AGAIN this evening. I've actually gotten an addiction. LOL the top test is the darkest I've gotten so far so I'm starting to get excited that it's increasing as opossed to decreasing as. The middle one is from this Am and the bottom from last night, it may be the case my HCG is higher at night?

@Myna13 indeed, I guess I ovulate a lot later than I thought. Gonna try and persuade DH to BD one more time tomorrow morning but if really doesn’t want to then that’ll be that for this cycle in terms of trying. I do feel like I’ve learnt a lot this month!

@Hotmalibu94 it'll all happen when the time is right. It's hard, but I keep telling myself that I'll have a baby when he/she is ready to come. And I have no control over their choice 😅 giving up that control makes me feel a lot better

@Myna13 yeah, I agree. I feel like I’ve done a lot better than last month already.

It will happen when it happens but we all still wish it doesn’t take so long 😂

Morning all.

Yep @Huriya officially started a new cycle now. At least it was a short one.
Yesterday was so light it was almost like spotting, tiny bit of brown blood on a tampon so I'm counting that as cd1. Today has properly started.
Planning to enjoy a few drinks with DH for our anniversary this weekend and gear up for another go 🤞

Actually having just googled spotting doesn't count so today is CD1 😂

1DPO again! Convinced DH to BD one more time this morning so covered day before ovulation, ovulation day and now today the day past it so fingers crossed we catch it. BBT is on point and confirmed ovulation as well so at least I got a better understanding of what’s going on.

@Huriya hopefully but I feel at ease that at least now I get more what my body is doing. All makes more sense now! Done all I can and now we wait 😝

May is great! Definitely like its not too cold nor too hot so would be a great time. Only a few more weeks till you get your first appointment so that’s got to be exciting too 🥰

@CatiaR I have no clue when my appointment will be. The gp said around 8-9 weeks pregnant and I thought that was a bit late. I was hoping for something around 6-7 weeks maybe.

@CatiaR thanks 💕 fingers crossed for the next time. Now I can spend the run up to my ov watching you guys in the TWW 😂 Funny how we all started our cycles at similar times and now look how out of sync we are 😂😂😂

@Huriya I'm ok, a bit bummed out, we both thought we'd done pretty well covering the days but we will see, I think this month I'll just tell him when we are due to ovulate and hopefully he'll then be on board with all the BDing 😂 it's exhausting otherwise. Hope you get your appt soon! 🤞
