BBTing our way to a BFP in August 🎉

Hi all!
My body has begun a new cycle in its quest to torture me with cycles that are getting a day longer at a time 😅 so I thought I'd see if anyone wants to join me in BBT charting this month!

DH and I are currently TTC #1, we started in June so are on CD1 of cycle #3 now and I wanted to start doing something a bit more to track without feeling like I'm constantly peeing on some kind of stick 😂 I've previously tried charting in April and May to prevent pregnancy but I hadn't quite got the hang of it yet so the charts were a bit all over the place. My chart since restarting BBT on Sunday already seems a lot more stable than it was last time so hopefully it'll give me some more info this time!

@CatiaR Id say deffo do BD today. If you had peak yesterday then most likely youre ovulating today possibly or tomorrow latest x

I’m 9dpo today, have had some aching a bit like period pain but not in waves, crossing my fingers it could be implantation. On Sunday night there was some twinges and like a knocking sensation, but it’s probably has! No other symptoms to speak of except being quite tired, but think I’m just a bit ill or it could be hayfever as my throat is constantly scratchy.

My period is due Friday so planning to test at the end of the week, maybe sooner if I get any symptoms. Good luck to all of us.

Sorry I've been so so soooo busy the last few days getting the house sorted and things ready for our holiday on Monday and I haven't been on much.
My tests started going dark again after my peak making me think the first could've failed but they've gone back down again 😮‍💨
@Huriya I'm 7DPO today and so far no symptoms just seen to be getting a little spotty. I hate how AF symptoms and pregnancy symptoms are pretty much the same 😅
All the cramping I was getting died down and settled a few days after OV. Likely start testing tomorrow or Thursday x

@MorningsideMaisie ah sorry thought it was yourself who had a bfp.
Not long left for you as well now. What dpo are you looking to test from?

7 DPO is pretty early, I wouldnt reccomend checking too early i did that to myself and thought I was completely out at 8/9DPO. Literally felt disheartened.

@Huriya congratulations! I've just seen your picture ❤️ usually I get a positive by 9DPO or did with my last 4 babies. I believe my last pregnancy was even 8 🫣 I was convinced I was having twins as my blood draw come back as 800 and something at 15DPO 😅 and all my dates were correct at scan as they thought I might be further along but I wasn't. I just seem to always have higher HCG with my pregnancies. I think the fear sets in that I must find out ASAP to get the ball rolling for blood work and future scans to rule out Ectopic as I'm high risk, as early as possible 🥺
I was too late getting everything checked over before meaning my injections for Ectopic didn't work and I needed surgery instead 💔 x

Congratulations to everyone who has got BFP, how exciting.
I have some weird pulling/cramping this morning.
CM has been completely dry for a few weeks now until last night, TMI - but it was there a plenty! DH has been working away a few nights here and there but is back now. We’ve decided to just continue BD when we feel
like it but try to cover every other day just incase I ovulate randomly with my cycles being erratic. Hopefully get some answers tomorrow or at least some medication to help with ovulation.

@Myna13 is that a thing? Because funnily enough my cervix has gone back up today 😂 I am spotting a tiny bit so probably still is af but there's a tiny bit of hope still shining that this is implantation... stupid I know 🙈 I'll check it again later and see if it's moved but it was so low yesterday and the day before and seems to have gone back up inside! I didn't test today as I thought I was out but if af hasn't come in full flow by tomorrow morning I'll test again.

Ladies we found my peak finally! O-day today and TWW once again 😂

Thanks every one, so many positives and this morning two tests both very faint. Disheartened as its my first and I don't know what's going on. Haveca digital but if I test and it Says 1-2 weeks again I think I'll cry. How long does it take to go 2--3? Feeling extremely negative this morning. Congratulations to you girls. Wishing everyone luck x

@Bellabears fingers crossed for you that all is ok, I have heard people say it takes sometimes more than a week to change from 1-2 weeks to 2-3.

Just feeling so negative! I just want to be 100 percent certain. I do feel light headed And metal taste in my mouth but nothing other than that. Its so frustrating. Tomorrow will be a Week since the first 1-2 week on the digital so I'll just have to wait & see. I'm exhausted from stress

It's understandable, waiting is not the easiest, really hope all will be ok with you and you have a sticky bean 😄

I am back into the start of the TWW when I had thought I ovulated already but it's actually today so back to the start and hoping we catch the eggy now

Yeah I just dont know what to think now! I'll test tomorrow and see but the bleeding has completely stopped and it was only a tiny bit when I wiped 👀 plus I had a complete mental breakdown yesterday which is so unlike me so god knows! TTC is SO ANNOYING 😂😂

@thejollytrolleydolly agreed! I'm glad I kept testing, before wasn't a proper surge so at least I know what to expect, still went from about 0.4 to 1.2 in one day but I was only testing once a day at that point so maybe I would have a more gradual increase

@Ncl31 almost seems like you've skipped a period or something. Hopefully you can catch something when it happens! Our bodies do the weirdest shit!

@Bellabears fingers crossed for a sticky bean 🤞 any idea when you get to see someone? Surely if you're telling them you're bleeding they'd see you for a blood test to check what is going on? I'm sure I've seen other people have that.

I was thinking this morning that if I'm into a new cycle I will be due beginning of June. We have a wedding up north mid July and one end of August in the south east... What do people do regarding planning for weddings? I'm leaning towards carrying on trying and we will just see what happens but I dunno

personally I'd probably keep trying, who knows if it will happen but I guess it depends on your preference

@Hotmalibu94 I went to my doctor and the urine test he did showed negative so he told me wait a week and come back. Crazy im thinking of ringing my hospital in a bit and just going in. The stress is overwhelming

@Hotmalibu94 I plan to keep trying. I have a cousin getting married in June next year, RSVP date is November. I'm going to just RSVP yes if I'm not pregnant by then, and cancel later when I have more info. My thought process is that people invite us to weddings because they love us. So if we have to change plans later for important reasons like having a baby, they'll totally understand. It's unfair to schedule TTC based on everyone else's calendar because unfortunately we can't book our babies in. I wish we could though 😂

@CatiaR even with re-starting the TWW, you're not far behind! I'll be rooting for you. Hoping everything falls into place for you this month
