BBTing our way to a BFP in August 🎉

Hi all!
My body has begun a new cycle in its quest to torture me with cycles that are getting a day longer at a time 😅 so I thought I'd see if anyone wants to join me in BBT charting this month!

DH and I are currently TTC #1, we started in June so are on CD1 of cycle #3 now and I wanted to start doing something a bit more to track without feeling like I'm constantly peeing on some kind of stick 😂 I've previously tried charting in April and May to prevent pregnancy but I hadn't quite got the hang of it yet so the charts were a bit all over the place. My chart since restarting BBT on Sunday already seems a lot more stable than it was last time so hopefully it'll give me some more info this time!

Ok guys I may be procrastinating butt.. ive just read this online. Apparantly early pregnancy detection maybe a sign of twins 😯

@Huriya hopefully that time will fly by! I imagine you'll hear a bit earlier than that as don't you have to have your first appt between 6-8 weeks or something? Haha how would you feel about twins? 😂

@bettyaboo hard to tell with your chart, if you weren't testing quite right at the beginning then very possible this chart might be a bit of a write off sadly. But I did exactly the same thing with when I first started BBTing. Harder than you'd think 😂 I would do with the positive LH tests this month, especially if you had EWCM around that time 🤞

@CatiaR omg no way 😂 at least you've got a bit of a clearer idea now and hopefully your BBT will increase too! 🤞 so exciting! Back to the start of the TWW sadly 😂

I keep alternating between being tempted to test and just wanting to wait until Friday.
I've felt sick all day. Back is incredibly sensitive, like anything I seem to do causes severe pain. I think my cm is increasing a smidge, and my spots are crazy. I don't generally get spotty too much but this month I've had about 5 over the weekend. Dunno if I'm just getting carried away.

@Hotmalibu94 I know! Its a good thing I’m testing all month. Flo updated my fertile week and now AF is due a week later and my ovulation day is now tomorrow!

i thought i was 6dpo and now we start again 😂 hopefully can catch the little eggy. BD on the cards for today and tomorrow and if I can Wednesday but not sure DH will be up for that Wednesday since he will be away till late.

@CatiaR I'm glad you've been testing because everything makes soo much sense now! Get on the BD and hopefully all goes well this cycle 🤞🏽

@Huriya twins sound super exciting! I've always wanted twins. Keep us posted 😋

@Hotmalibu94 try and wait a few days before you test because if you test too early you might get a negative even if you are pregnant and it'll upset you unnecessarily. You got this! 😘

@Myna13 thank you! I'm honestly scared to test in case it's negative so I talk myself out of it based on that. But then last time I was so gutted when AF came too so I just don't know which way is better 😂

@Hotmalibu94 if it puts your mind at ease, do a cheapie tomorrow. And then wait until Friday to do a proper test 😅 sometimes just doing a rest is good to ease the mind.

@Hotmalibu94 I honestly dont know how id feel about twins. I mean it sounds amazing but when you think practically its pretty scary. Then again deep down I did really want twins too 🙈
Girl you need to do a test!! Tomorrow you will be 11 DPO just 4 days before AF is due. I really really feel like its something positive 🤞

@CatiaR do you think youre ovulating a second time maybe? Not even sure if thats possible but you never know🫢

@Myna13 on the BD already 😂 planning tomorrow and Wednesday if I can.

@Hotmalibu94 I thought it was more creamy but turned back to watery ish ewcm and loads and today tested positive finally!

@Huriya last week it went a bit higher but still not an actual positive only about 0.74. Now its clearly positive and above 1.26. Premom still doesn’t think that was my peak yet but my test line was darker than control line finally so I think I have a longer cycle this month since I do fluctuate between 29-35 days but always consistent and flow the same. So I guess I’m later ovulating this month. AF is now predicted due a week later in 6th September which wouldn’t surprise me as I do get either bang on cycles or a couple days to a week late. Hoping I’ll catch this little eggy if it does come. And back to TWW again on Wednesday lol 😂

the longest TWW ever. Should have done more BD but we were tired after last weeks run 😂

That looks more like an actual peak so we’ll see how the next few days will go. Aiming for BD next few days and hopefully will give me the best chance I can get

We are all ready to welcome you back to the tww but it probs end feel like a 4ww for u am sure.

I cant wait till the end of the week when more of you all will be testing. Think its @Hotmalibu94 @Myna13 that we're waiting on for now. Im pretty sure there was more of us but I cant seem to remember names🙈

First baby if this is positive. I'm fearful as there's on off blessing but light and not red. Just have to hold on hope until i can get bloods done and a positive result from a doctor. Baby dust to you all x

Thats deffo a BFP there but do hope your appointment goes well for you.

12 DPO today and I feel like there is no line progression. Not sure if that means anything. Ive attached pics with and without flash.

@Huriya well based on my temp I think I'm very likely out. Also have a splitting headache which is usual for AF coming. So I'm just waiting now, don't think there's any point testing.

@Huriya there's definitely a clear line there though. So don't be disheartened just yet. Maybe it's time for a digital?

5dpo today and I feel like I might be out this cycle. CM has completely dried up. No symptoms that I have yet, except that I'm really tired this morning. I know it's still early days, and it isn't over until AF arrives. So I still have hope. But my body isn't giving me any signs 😅

@Huriya I don't really know much about how quickly they're meant to progress, maybe do another test in a couple of days? I meant it was pretty incredible to get a line so early so very likely still just faint as it's still early! 🤞

@Myna13 mmmm I'm not convinced, temp drops because of progesterone dropping which is what causes your period to start so I think honestly it'll start today or tomorrow. I'll keep you all updated and then I'll stick around ready for the next cycle and to cheer the rest of you on 🙌

AF due Thursday according to the app

@Hotmalibu94 Thursday isn't far away, so you'll know either way in a couple of days.

So I’m going to continue opks but safe to assume that last nights was indeed a positive and I’ll probably ovulate today or tomorrow right? Or do I need to wait for a higher peak. I think not especially as it may have gone down today but I’ll be checking midday and afternoon.

BD yesterday and this morning so hoping I can convince DH for another round tomorrow and hopefully have my bases covered

@Huriya im not sure either but a lot of people don’t get really strong lines till a bit later so hopefully all is good.

I really wanted to do a digital but me and DH both be up at 6 and I havent told him yet 🙈
Im off for the bankholiday from Thursday so might do one then and surprise him 😁.

Need some ideas off u ladiess to surpise him. I was thinking to get a newborn baby vest and add my pregnancy test to a gift box/bag. How does this sound?
Seen these ones from Matalan and ones from Sainsburys. Just not sure which to go for?
