BBTing our way to a BFP in August 🎉

Hi all!
My body has begun a new cycle in its quest to torture me with cycles that are getting a day longer at a time 😅 so I thought I'd see if anyone wants to join me in BBT charting this month!

DH and I are currently TTC #1, we started in June so are on CD1 of cycle #3 now and I wanted to start doing something a bit more to track without feeling like I'm constantly peeing on some kind of stick 😂 I've previously tried charting in April and May to prevent pregnancy but I hadn't quite got the hang of it yet so the charts were a bit all over the place. My chart since restarting BBT on Sunday already seems a lot more stable than it was last time so hopefully it'll give me some more info this time!

Quiet day on here yesterday 😅 how is everyone today?

@Hotmalibu94 heyyy all good here, slowly coming out of my tired haze! Work was a real effort yesterday though! Today so far I feel totally fine. Cervix is still high but a bfn on my test this morning. 10dpo so the countdown is on! I've finally been allocated my promotion course in October so it's no drama if I'm not pregnant this month or next as you're not meant to fly if you're pregnant so I would have to hide it until my promotion 😂😂 we will see though! How do you feel? Xx

Trying to stay positive but no real changes here compared to a normal month 🤷🏼‍♀️ had the bad back pain which lasted a day but it might have just improved because it improved, not because it was implantation or anything...
Cervix feels high but maybe a bit firmer today.
Who knows what's going on. Just gonna have to wait and see I think!

Also great news about the promotion course! Hopefully if you have conceived you can keep it a secret until then 😁 hoping your BFN turns to a BFP before long!

@Hotmalibu94 Heyy all good here, currently working its been a long week of work for me thankfully am off tomorrow. 9DPO today and still a BFN 🤦🏻‍♀️

I know the feeling of “if it’s not this month that’s okay because….” The last 6-12 months have been like that for me in the lead up to the wedding and we’re off to Florida in 3 weeks. Part of me is glad I’m not preggo yet because I love the fast rides and there’s new ones I haven’t been on yet so at least I’ll get to enjoy them now.

@Hotmalibu94 glad your backache has gone! I had absolutely zero symptoms when I got my bfp - I was convinced I was out for that month - so I don't think you necessarily get anything until later! Even once I'd seen the positive I didn't get any symptoms for a week or two.

I've had the squintiest squinter of a line this morning, so it should be gone on the next test! I think I'm going to do a double on Tuesday - pregnancy test and opk 😂

Thanks for that! I actually was thinking this morning, comparison really is the thief of joy isn't it 😅 I shouldnt get too worked up if other people have symptoms and I don't. Everyone is so different and I'm only 8dpo anyway so still in the implantation window. Think I just need to try and hold off and wait until af is due on Thursday. Almost there now anyway! It's just so hard not to think about it all the time 😅 god I hope I don't have to do this again next month 😂

Do people get a bbt drop for implantation? I had one this morning but I'm only 4dpo and I've been rubbish at bbt.

I'm also feeling crampy which at had at 5dpo with my successful pregnancy. Trying not to read into signs and symptoms as pregnancy and pms are very similar but it's hard.

@Hotmalibu94 yeah don't worry! I didn't have any symptoms with my daughter I was really confused actually because I was like where is my period?! Oh....

I am due on in 4 days with no symptoms and my cervix is really high and very soft so I might be in with a chance! When I'm not pregnant my cervix is very firm for my whole leutal phase so 🤞🏽

Hello everyone! Sort of productive day so far, with loads of laundry, dog walking, full fridge/freezer deep cleaning! Just taking a rest now. Done my opk for the day to have a whole month data by the end of the cycle and still low as it should be. No symptoms at all but noticed my CM changed slightly from yellowish sticky to a whiter creamier cm. Doubt that means anything but never noticed it like that.

still only 4dpo so a bit long to go 😊

cant wait to see who’s gonna be the next bfps ✨

Officially 3DPO managed to BD the three days before ovulation but the day of my other half was working away! Nothing major to report symptom wise!

@Hotmalibu94 I'm glad you're not comparing your symptoms to other peoples. Every body is soo different in how they respond to pregnancy. So don't let how anyone else is feeling get you down. Hoping this is your month!

I got the faintest line from earlier in this evening! I done 2 pregnancy tests and it was there on both. Really hoping it wasnt an indent. Ive attached pics of both you can hardly see it but i promise its there!

@Throwawy you can get a bbt drop but I think implantation is generally 6-10 days so it should happen in that window, 4dpo might be a smidge early but I'm not sure!

@Myna13 hey lovely, thanks! I just think it's so easy to get down isn't it if you're not having symptoms but some of the most common symptoms like sore boobs and backache I get throughout the luteal phase so 🤷🏼‍♀️ hope you're having a good weekend!

For me:
Probably a bit moodier than usual, mildly sore boobs which is standard, back ache and headache which is standard. CM so light it's basically non existent which is standard and ever so slightly crampy which is probably normal. But all also potential pregnancy symptoms so 🤷🏼‍♀️ who knows! I'm in two minds whether to test today or not but I think I'm better just not testing until after AF is due.

@Hotmalibu94 Youre 9DPO i think, id say if you can hold offf for one more day then test on 10 DPO maybe? I tested yesterday (9DPO) morning and got BFN tested again around 5pmish and got the sliggtest faint shadow. But the morning negative really got me down I thought i was out this month.

Here is my FMU 10 DPO tests deffinately alot clearer then yesterday but still very very faint. Really hope this is the start of my BFP!

@CatiaR hard to say when I usually get all these things that are meant to be pregnancy symptoms 😂 I'm blaming the progesterone for that one 🤦‍♀️

@Huriya ohhhh that's so exciting! Definitely looks clearer today 🤞 so hopeful for you! I have officially weed and decided not to test today so I'm going to wait until Friday now 😂 don't really want to test when I then have to go to work, would rather wait and see what Friday brings if AF doesn't come beforehand.

@Hotmalibu94 i know right? Last cycle it was all over the place for me when I normally don’t have any pms symptoms.

only thing I have today is an itchy nipple but not thinking much of it really 😂

Im looking forward to my GP appointment on Wednesday, only 3 more days - I almost feel like I’m waiting to , but instead of a BFP hopefully get some answers.
