BBTing our way to a BFP in August 🎉

Hi all!
My body has begun a new cycle in its quest to torture me with cycles that are getting a day longer at a time 😅 so I thought I'd see if anyone wants to join me in BBT charting this month!

DH and I are currently TTC #1, we started in June so are on CD1 of cycle #3 now and I wanted to start doing something a bit more to track without feeling like I'm constantly peeing on some kind of stick 😂 I've previously tried charting in April and May to prevent pregnancy but I hadn't quite got the hang of it yet so the charts were a bit all over the place. My chart since restarting BBT on Sunday already seems a lot more stable than it was last time so hopefully it'll give me some more info this time!

@Hotmalibu94 my tests are still blank as a sheet so either I'm out or I'm a really late shower (which I have been before) I have a bit of backache today and not so much cramps but like a burning sensation at the base of my stomach. Cervix is still pretty high but god knows it could drop down at the last minute. I thought I would have a little shadow at least by now and I would be lying if I said I wasn't feeling a bit disappointed but I guess I'm not out yet!

I hope everyone is having a nice weekend! I had a mammoth shift at work yesterday and I'm knackered today! Keep it up with the updates everyone! Xx

@Huriya I'm so excited for you!! I can definitely see a faint line there. And it's more clear on this mornings tests. Hoping this is the start of your BFP!! Looking forward to seeing your line progressions!

@thejollytrolleydolly you're not out until AF arrives. And it is still quite early. Don't lose hope just yet.

@Hotmalibu94 this cycle I'm going to do what you're doing and wait to test. It's not going to be easy. But you're my inspiration 😂

😂😂😂 @Myna13 love that! I just think more than likely would be negative at 9dpo and why would I deliberately upset myself like that 😂 and then I don't want to find out whilst rushing in the morning to get off to work so that leaves me Friday as my next day off which is day after AF is due.
This month my apps are expecting a 28 day cycle. My last was 28 days and the one before that was 27 days so hopefully if nothing by Friday it will be because of a positive test 🤞 5 days of symptom spotting before then!

@Hotmalibu94 that does make perfect sense.
Peeing on sticks is like scratching an itch. But they really got to me last month because I had 2 false clear blue's. So definitely want to wait longer this time.

@Hotmalibu94 I suspect I'll end up testing on 10dpo because we're going for the AEW wrestling thing in Wembley. It's my husband's birthday present. I know nothing about wrestling and suspect it will be more fun if I can have a few drinks 😂

Not long left for the rest either but honestly the first week flys by and the second just draggs. I was honestly getting fed up now.

not much to report here, had an itchy nipple that has not gone and the occasional twinge which not thinking much of. Found weird that I’ve had white creamy cm since yesterday as never noticed before and straight after ovulation had been yellowy sticky but again who knows 🤷‍♀️

DH is gonna be off to the ILs next weekend so I’ll probably test with him then will be 11dpo by then and if not wait till Tuesday 29th when AF is due.

@CatiaR @Myna13 we are all super close in DPO! I think I’m going to test 10DPO what about you guys? Last month I started at 7DPO and I feel like I become almost obsessed with it and used all my digitals when I should have just been using my cheapies!

how has everyone’s BBT charts been looking? 😊

@Biscuitbeann been a little up and down in the luteal phase so far. Hoping I don't see a temp drop on Wednesday/Thursday as then I might still be in with a chance 🤞

I also did the same thing last month and it drove me mad and made me sad because I got two false lines on a clearblue.
This cycle I'm going to test at 10dpo because we're going to AEW wrestling thing that day and I'm not a big fan. I suspect it will be more fun if I could have a few beers 😂 but even if I get a negative, I suspect I won't have more than 1 because it's still too early to tell 😅 I want to wait until AF is due (30/08) to do a test. So maybe won't test at 10dpo. But I've told myself 10dpo is the earliest I'll test.

Flo app is having a meltdown with its predictions😂
For the 24th it predicts my period starting in 2 days and I should do a pregnancy test in 1 day, on the 25th it says I'm late and to do a test and then the 26th it says it thinks I'll start my period 😂 so surely the 25th isn't late if it thinks I'll start on the 26th 😂🤦‍♀️

@Biscuitbeann BBT looking ok I think but got no frame of reference yet, it did bit a little bit today tho but our room is so sensitive to temperature so it keeps getting me hotter and colder in the mornings so taking it with a grain of salt.

earliest I’ll do is probably 10-11 dpo so next weekend since DH is going to be away till AF is due. I did test way too early last cycle and only near the end I realised that my iphone health app was wayy off and we basically had no chance so would have saved me some disappointment

trying to not overthink symptoms this time around and haven’t felt much to be honest apart from the occasional lower tummy twinge and an itchy nipple that’s long gone. Apart from different cm that I’ve noticed but maybe I just never paid enough attention to it but last two days has changed a bit.

7dpo for me today and no symptoms of note except feeling very tired. Think I might be coming down with something and DH is the same. Tested negative for COVID (work in the NHS) but suspect a summer cold. Hopefully it will pass soon and won’t affect implantation, if there is a little blastocyst in there!

@MorningsideMaisie we've been the same! Felt like crap from about 7/8dpo and it's just clearing now apart from I've been suuuuuper emotional today 🙈 hopefully it's a good sign for us both! X

Phew today was a tiring day! Redoing our patio, weeding and sanding took a lot longer than expected! Managed to do my opk sometime around 2:30pm and it was bit higher than it has been although not near positive at all so did another one just earlier and was the same so just keeping an eye out in case anything crazy happens there 😂

this month has been so confusing for me, not too sure what to expect so a massive learning curve for me 😊

I'm 12po and still getting faint lines but I feel so so tired. In my last pregnancy, 12dpo was when I was violently sick with a strong line. I've been getting some shooting pain on my left side today.

Today has been exhausting! I ended up having a nap in the day. Not sure whats wrong or if this is a symptom but been having loads of sweaty hot flashes (sorry tmi).

@Onegoingonmaybe2 HCG tends to double every 24-48 hrs. You could try testing after a few days and compare the tests?

Have you done a digital yet? Im not sure whether to do one or wait a few more days.

@Huriya I did digital a couple of days ago and it said 1-2 weeks pregnant. The hot flushes I'm getting those more. I have low blood pressure and when I get those hot flushes I just feel dizzy and light headed. How many dpo are you?

@Onegoingonmaybe2 how many dpo were you when you did digital? Im currently 10 DPO so still pretty early. I feel like i'll fully believe it then once ive seen it written in words. I get alot of hot flashes and heart burn, no dizziness or much nausea.
