BBTing our way to a BFP in August 🎉

Hi all!
My body has begun a new cycle in its quest to torture me with cycles that are getting a day longer at a time 😅 so I thought I'd see if anyone wants to join me in BBT charting this month!

DH and I are currently TTC #1, we started in June so are on CD1 of cycle #3 now and I wanted to start doing something a bit more to track without feeling like I'm constantly peeing on some kind of stick 😂 I've previously tried charting in April and May to prevent pregnancy but I hadn't quite got the hang of it yet so the charts were a bit all over the place. My chart since restarting BBT on Sunday already seems a lot more stable than it was last time so hopefully it'll give me some more info this time!

@Huriya yes but LH tests also pick up HCG. Have you don't any preg tests yet? X

@thejollytrolleydolly I went to my walk in centre yesterday to get UTI checked and they did a pregnancy test whilst they were checking for the infection and it came back negative. Im going to hold off till tomorrow when il be 8DPO and do a test then.

@Huriya no worries! Maybe you're just having an LH rise? Some peoples go up and down throughout the month. My ov test is pretty much blank today 😂

@Onegoingonmaybe2 hoping this is the start of your BFP! Keep us updated 🤞🏽🤞🏽

Sounds like positive signs from everyone! My BBT is still above the cover line- maybe your cover line can change after a MC?! Although still a faintly positive test so maybe it won’t come down until the test is completely negative.

I had a meeting today where two of the people were pregnant (3rd trimester), it’s so hard to be happy for them and join in all the chat when it feels like I should have been able to share mine too 💔 but not letting myself wallow - fingers crossed for O at some point and then I can get back in the game!

Oh @ginny93 it's so tough isn't it? Sending big hugs! I remember when I was trying to conceive my dd and it felt like everyone around me was having a baby or announcing they were pregnant and it used to make me so sad! So sending all of my baby making love to you ❤️

Ok so 8dpo symptom spotting...
So I swear since that cramping yesterday things have started to change... for a start I'm KNACKERED today and achy. I'm so so constipated no matter how much water I drink and let's not even get started on the gas 🤦🏽‍♀️ my cervix has run away, I think it may be in one of my ribs at this point. I can't reach it. And my boobs feel like lead weights every time I take off my bra. Which just reminds me of my last pregnancy as I had to wear sports bras to bed every night because it hurt too much to be braless. I don't want to get my hopes up too much but I'm still hopeful 😊

How is everyone else feeling today? Xx

@thejollytrolleydolly those sound like such positive symptoms. Especially because they're similar to how you felt in your previous pregnancy! Hoping it's only a matter of days before you see your BFP!

@thejollytrolleydolly I'm 6dpo and not really got much specific to be honest. Was just angry at everyone and everything the last two days, and today I'm still grumpy but better. I've had backache and sore boobs since ovulation but that's normal for me. I'm hoping I'll start to notice things any time from now 😭🤞

@Myna13 fingers crossed! I normally get quite a late positive so might be waiting a while yet!

7dpo and nothing much except severe back pain so I can barely move. But I think that's just due to work as yesterday was scrubbing the floors with a broom 🥲

Morning 8DPO today and wokeup with a headache and feeling a bit off? Like a loss of appetite, the thought of having brekkie is giving me nausea.

@thejollytrolleydolly hey again your symptoms sound positive. Will you be checking again in the eve or wait till tomorrow now?

Its so funny how some of us are a day apart in dpo yet we all have different symptoms.

@Huriya thats sounds positive to me.
still plodding along here. CD 52 for me, had AF type pains during this night but nothing. I feel absolutely exhausted today. Was going to go to the gym but just going to listen to my body and rest. Popping into work this morning as I’m back from sick leave on Monday and feeling a little anxious about it all, so calling in for a cuppa with my colleague just to break that ice.

Morning! 3DPO here and nothing to report apart from being tired but has been a busy week at work and cannot wait for the weekend 😄

Sounds like positive symptoms all around, can't wait to see bfps all around!

@Huriya that's kind of how I felt 2 days ago, off and no appetite and then yesterday I wanted to eat everything in sight 😂 I feel like absolute turd today! So tired, heavy head, no energy, achy and keep getting dizzy spells. I remember with dd I called in sick the week before my BFP because I thought I had the flu so I guess it's a good sign. I do t remember feeling this way with the pregnancy that ended in mc. Fingers crossed it's all for a good cause and I'm not just ill lol! God knows how I'm going to get through the next 2 days of work 😂 help meh!! X

1 dpo here. Finally joining the TWW.

@Huriya fingers crossed. Not long now 💜 3-4DPO here and ever since ovulation I've had pains in my left side (tubeless side) and cramping in uterus which is pretty much continuous 😫 makes me believe I have Endometriosis 😭 I'm fine in the first half of cycle and as soon as ovulation hits until my periods under way I cramp daily 😪

@thejollytrolleydolly its funny how we are all feeling like this. Sometimes i think we are just focusing on it too much and its in our heads lol.
I forgot to add I also feel like am coming down with a cold runny/slight stuffy nose alongside a dull headache. This is my first pregnancy (hopefully) so have nothing to refer back to but love the fact that others in here doo gives me so much reassurance that my symptoms are in the right track.
Im working tomorrow thankfully then Sunday im 10DPO and cant wait to test so not long left now x

I’m now 5dpo and will start officially symptoms spotting tomorrow. But I’ve noticed my smell and taste are more sensitive than usual. I feel a bit nauseous this morning, but that’s quite common for me (I put it down to anxiety) so god help me if I get morning sickness! Tummy is also quite gurgly today, not sure if being gassy is a symptom 😂

@Huriya yeah feeling like I was coming down with something was the only way I knew something was off that month because I'm NEVER ill! It's a super common symptom of early pregnancy. Going to check my cervix in a min and see if it's still high. I reckon it will be another 4 days before I get any result on a test but I'm going to test every day for the lolz!

@Hotmalibu94 I'm not surprised you're aching after all of that scrubbing! I always ache after just mopping my living room floor 😂

@pinkmarshmalloww get yourself checked! My doctors were really good with me when I suspected endo they did a really thorough internal scan which thankfully showed no scar tissue. You should ask for the same xx

@Huriya working as a department manager in the NHS I’m not sure there is such thing as easing back in.
I think once I’m back in the building I’ll be fine and it’ll be a good distraction from all
of this rubbish long cycle nonsense!
I had 2 weeks annual leave and then 6 weeks sick - it’s the longest I’ve ever been off work and anxiety got me bad when I started to think about going back.
my colleagues and team are amazing though :)

Morning everyone. Just a update from my digital clear blue which came as 1-2 weeks pregnant this morning. I had symptoms such as metallic taste in my mouth, bloating and a lot of tugging very early on. I'm 9/10 days dpo. The rest of the symptoms feel like af symptoms such as sore breasts, cramps. Good luck to you all and hope you all get those lines on the sticks very soon xx
