BBTing our way to a BFP in August 🎉

Hi all!
My body has begun a new cycle in its quest to torture me with cycles that are getting a day longer at a time 😅 so I thought I'd see if anyone wants to join me in BBT charting this month!

DH and I are currently TTC #1, we started in June so are on CD1 of cycle #3 now and I wanted to start doing something a bit more to track without feeling like I'm constantly peeing on some kind of stick 😂 I've previously tried charting in April and May to prevent pregnancy but I hadn't quite got the hang of it yet so the charts were a bit all over the place. My chart since restarting BBT on Sunday already seems a lot more stable than it was last time so hopefully it'll give me some more info this time!

@Hotmalibu94 I think I'm peaking today so quite a bit later than normal I got my first "high" today. Dtd twice yesterday and will do today too fingers crossed we catch this month! X

@thejollytrolleydolly ahhhhh! The problem with this thread is I'm now very personally invested in the outcome of everyone's month.😂

Here's today's chart, so my temp came up for 2 days but yesterday I woke up feeling hot so not sure if that one was accurate or not. And it didn't come any higher than my usual temp so def not ovulated yet. Kinda hoping I ovulate today instead as we DTD twice Sunday, then last night and I'm hoping today so we will have caught it fairly well I think 😂

I copied and pasted this 😄 so I'm hoping in 4 hours time it's even darker and more accurate 🤞

Looks like a high change of getting a peak today 🎉 x

Seems like lots of people might ovulate today or tomorrow!

I'm praying i peak today because I go on holiday Mon 28th and if I don't conceive would really love AF to be on the way out when I go rather than just starting 🫣

@thejollytrolleydolly My OPK is showing high too! I think I deffo will ovulate alot earlier than my expected ovulation on Sunday. Ive had quite an increase from yesterday. Going to try get some BD in tonight just incase

@Huriya do it!! I'm going to test when I get home and see if I'm peaking. If so, sexy time tonight and maybe tomorrow just in case. I'll post my test when I get back from work 😊 we will be tww twins 🙌🏽❤️

@CatiaR I'm here to keep you company! I entered fertile week today. Predicted ovulation on Monday 🤞🏽
Doing OPKs daily at the moment but might do two a day at the weekend to make sure I don't miss the peak.

I think I'm on the other side you guys!! According to my latest test, my levels have started to drop again so I assume I peaked throughout the night? So 12 hours after that I guess I could be releasing an eggy right now 😊 going to dtd tonight just to be on the safe side but 1DPO here I come!! Xx

@Hotmalibu94 haha welcome to the opk club! I never held mine as such I just tested it when I needed the loo xx

I'm thinking I'll hold til 4 which is at least 2 hours 😅

@Hotmalibu94 ahh. You gave in and got some OPKs 😂 it's hard to tell. There's definitely a line there. But you might peak very quickly. I like the strips because you can take photo's and let the apps do the work for you 😅

@Hotmalibu94 not necessarily! Mine shot up from nothing to dark in a matter of 2 hours so you might just be a last minute sally like me 😊

I have done them between 1 and 3 times a day depending on where I am in my cycle so I think I have a good idea when I ovulated. I'm interested to see what the fertility nurse says at my appointment in half an hour too. If I get any nuggets of wisdom from her I will bring them back xx

@Myna13 I prefer the strips too. It's nice being able to line them up in the app xx
