Thank you @worldwidetravel2017 that is really good to know. As I'm coming to the end of this cycle I might hold off until next before I look at Hertility but definitely worth doing if it gives you some insight before the NHS can/do. It's still early days for me TTC this time round in comparison to some. I feel like because I've been here before many years ago in my younger, healthier years, its hard not to have the feeling that it won't happen again.
Also sorry about your miscarriage 🫶
DH is in for his test in November although I'm confused with how that works. He's booked the test in but was told to just take his pot in on the day - does this mean he won't know the results on the day? It sounds like the time he's booked in is just to take his sample not to actually talk through anything.
Tbh once we get the results of any tests it's unlikely we will be referred through NHS due to my BMI which I am working on but I've got like 4 stone to lose and I can't exercise much due to my recently diagnosed skin condition. I think private IVF is going to be our only way forward.
On that note if we get all the tests done now do we have to have them all done again if we do go private? If so I might just look at private much sooner.
@VixFromThe6ix yeh work is particularly difficult right now. In fact I don't think I've ever been so stressed, which is the last thing I need right now.
Oh that sounds so confusing. So if you think you are 2dpo does that mean you shouldn't really test until next weekend then?
@MOGMOGMOG85 it is so hard isn't it 😩 Earlier this month when AF arrived I literally turned to the DH and told him I don't know if I can do this every month. It's only our first month on a full cycle since coming off the pill in June but as I've been through it all before I think I'm just filled with dread - which is awful. But then part of me already has a list of names!!
