Hi @Chrissy1208 so sorry to hear about your MMC, I also had one in June and nothing can prepare you for the range of horrid emotions it brings with it, I hope you are now doing as well as can be xx
@MrsBP15 is your period usually on time and have you now done a test to check 100% not preggo? Could the cramping and light bleeding you are getting potentially he implantation bleed? (I don’t want to raise false hopes or upset if AF has now appeared but I had similar around 13-14 dpo with my son and convinced period was happening so was very grumpy, then next day as hadn’t properly arrived took a test and was positive!).
@SnookyPook God speed for this cycle snooky pook! You can do it! 💪
@MOGMOGMOG85 really hope you get good news from interview today xxx

@Eirlys1986 Period usually very on time so I have been wondering about whether to take a test. I'm wondering though if this is just a super light period as I had similar experience back in May without full bleeding and very light cramps but def wasn't pregnant. I might leave it for another couple of days to see if period arrives and if not will take a test. This is going to sound mad but I have to take test with husband as he wants to be there if it is positive. I realise this sounds very strange but it's just how we roll and I honestly think it has helped me not test every single day of TWW! Did you have any other symptoms other than spotting and cramps? I've got nothing, not even a sore tit!!

Eirlys1986 · 28/07/2023 13:25

@MrsBP15 no I had nothing else, I remember walking our dog around the fields in a massive strop as it was so crampy and like beginning of a period, I put a tampon in at home as completely expected period, passed some light bleeding and clot and then next morning everything basically stopped. Implantation bleeding will generally always be very light and can last a few days on and off. I think your approach to testing is very wise, I am a serial early tester and always tested alone so since MMC we’ve decided I will always test with OH as he expressed he would quite like to be there so that will help me calm it down a bit. I think you’re very self controlled to wait a few more days! X

MrsBP15 · 28/07/2023 13:49

@Eirlys1986 That's crazy! When I was at this service station yesterday, I was inconsolable. Just cried and cried and cried. Today I am a bit more, "Could it be?" as I was just assuming period would be here full throttle today (watch it come this evening 🙄) I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who tests with their partner, not that we've done many mind you. He works in events so is literally working all weekend hence the holding off to test, it will probably be Sunday evening at this rate unless period decides to show. Might have to go shopping tomorrow to keep myself busy...oh what a shame 😂

RoseH36 · 28/07/2023 15:43

@MrsBP15 I test with my hubby too. I'd feel awful if it was ever positive and I'd known before him.

RoseH36 · 28/07/2023 15:57

@Eirlys1986 I guess as much as we hate the Clearblue price tag they are a lot more accurate it detecting LH. I do wonder if whatever technology they use is exclusive to them as I've not seen anything similar.

MrsBP15 · 28/07/2023 18:26

@RoseH36 oh I’m so pleased I’m not the only one! I mentioned it on another thread and some people thought it was quite strange. I’ve only been using OPKs from Amazon and I think they work fine. Are the clear blue ones worth it? I suppose I could save them for when I think I’m nearing ovulation and use the other ones the rest of the time.

LeopardLover · 28/07/2023 19:02

Hi all! Thank you for the tag and not forgetting me ❤️ Hello to all the new faces 👋🏻☺️

I forgot the Glastobaby nickname 🤣✌️ Unfortunately I've started (very light) pink bleeding and loads of cramping. Also I think maybe my nausea has just tailed off quite suddenly 😔 I'm 7+4. I know worrying won't change the outcome, so I'm waiting until my EPU scan on Monday. We're supposed to be staying away with family this weekend so not sure how I feel about hiding my feelings! Also my toddler won't let me leave him for 60 secs so feeling a bit drained. 😴

@Eirlys1986 So pleased it looks like you are heading towards your peak 😍 Clearblue are AWFULLY expensive but really easy to understand 🤓

@RoseH36 Eeek! Welcome to the valley of torment 😂 fingers crossed it's the last 😉 not sure why I tagged you 3 times Snooky - at least you are VoT twins! 💜

Eirlys1986 · 28/07/2023 19:30

Sorry to hear about the symptoms @LeopardLover , I know nothing I say is likely to allay those fears at the moment but it may well all be ok, all those things can happen normally in pregnancy. Know I am thinking of you and I hope the weekend passes quickly for you so you can get your scan on Monday and hopefully be reassured xxx

xxcxdonxx · 28/07/2023 19:42

Thanks for tagging@SnookyPook I do love this thread ☺️
Hope everyone is doing well, wherever you are in your cd.
Welcome to the lovely new ladies too 💜
I’m cd7 so back to full Smep mode tomorrow, wish me luck!

SnookyPook · 28/07/2023 19:53

@LeopardLover Eirlys has said it best really.. just know that I'm thinking of you and sending all the positive vibes your way. Hopefully it is nothing but I absolutely get the anxiety. Hope Monday comes round quickly for you. Lots of love to you 💕

@xxcxdonxx ooh good luck lovely! 🤞🏻😊

CurlyWurly1991 · 28/07/2023 20:53

@LeopardLover hope that the spotting comes to nothing and your EPU scan shows a healthy sticky embryo.

I’m on 12dpo and feeling very much like AF is around the corner. Precisely the same symptoms as last cycle so no hope of a bfp here. Next cycle will be our 4th of TTC #2 after a 10 year gap with our existing DD. Feeling impatient and wondering if there is anything else we could try for next month. Tried conceive plus lube this time around which I quite liked but don’t know if was necessary as I have plenty of EWCM. Also used a soft cup afterwards mainly for mess and did try self inseminating too as DH can feel the pressure a bit and this makes it more likely the goods will get where they need to iyswim. Already temping and using cheap Opk strips, which I found really helpful to confirm that I was ovulating early this cycle (CD11). Started testing as I suspected ov was on its way based on libido and CM.

good luck to all. Such a relentless slog sometimes!

RoseH36 · 28/07/2023 21:16

@MrsBP15 they are definitely more accurate, I'd be buggered without them. It takes a base reading so the first time you use them will always be a low. It then gives you a high reading as your LH levels increase before it gives you a peak. I've had varying amount of high days so without them I'd be clueless. It does seem to match up with the cheap Easy@Home ones. I hit peak two days ago, the Easy@Home ones had really dark lines yesterday and then today they've become really faint as my levels have dropped following ovulation.

@LeopardLover noo!! Keeping everything crossed for you that things don't worsen and it was nothing. Hope the weekend doesn't drag for you, there's nothing worse than not being able to take your mind off things.

@CurlyWurly1991 sounds like you've tried all sorts of things! It really is a relentless slog.

Angelsrose · 28/07/2023 22:47

@LeopardLover I'm truly wishing you all the best. Sending lots of love and light.
Welcome @MrsBP15 nice to have you on board. I'm ttc #1 on cycle 8, CD2. Thanks so much @VixFromThe6ix for the new thread and thanks for the tag @SnookyPook

LeopardLover · 29/07/2023 04:44

@Eirlys1986 @SnookyPook @CurlyWurly1991 @RoseH36 Thank you so much for the love 💗 I'm really not a negative nelly in life (the absolute opposite 😅) but things feel abruptly different and the pain is all different. I'd love to be proven wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️ Due to my bubbly personality everyone has come to expect I feel like I'll need to pull on my GCSE in Drama this weekend 😬 Also not keen on being scanned at a hospital I don't know and alone. I need to put on my big girl panties, but feeling realistic and ready to switch into practical mode 🙈

Sending you all lots of love and action this weekend if it's required 🤣💜xx

Bumblebee413 · 29/07/2023 07:36

Sending you lots of love @LeopardLover Xxx

8DPO and BFN here, as you’d expect 😂 Going to have a cheeky one or two if I feel like it and just focus on enjoying the hen do. And not on looking after a two year old tomorrow….

x

RoseH36 · 29/07/2023 07:40

@LeopardLover the polar opposite to me, my DH often says I'm not even a glass half empty person but someone who thinks their glass is going to break 🤣 I'm not negative all the time but do get myself stuck in a rut a lot in situations and can't see any positives. I hope your weekend plans will be enough to take your mind off things a little.

@Bumblebee413 have fun today.

Eirlys1986 · 29/07/2023 07:45

@LeopardLover I hope you have as good a weekend as possible 💕 x
@Bumblebee413 enjoy your cocktails and deffo dont think about looking after a 2 year old tomorrow!

Mrsspoon3 · 29/07/2023 08:14

@LeopardLover Ah sorry to hear you’re having a worrying time! I hope you’re able to get through the weekend ok and all turns out to be ok. Thinking of you xx

@CurlyWurly1991 Sounds like you’re doing all the right things. Are you taking a supplement? I often try a nee thing each month and that was one of the things I added. Hope AF doesn’t come this month though!!

My FF app has said based on my temps I ovulated day of positive OPK this month, which would mean I’m out as we only managed to dtd once and it was day after positive 😩 I know it’s very unlikely I’d be pregnant after just trying once, but thought I at least had a small chance. I’m unsure if I could have ovulated same day as positive though as I only got my positive at 10pm (it was negative that morning). I don’t know though 🤷‍♀️

H0pefull · 29/07/2023 08:16

Thanks @SnookyPook ! This is my first time posting in a thread so I didn’t realise they got full 😂 found my way back thanks to your tag xx

H0pefull · 29/07/2023 08:20

Oh I’m so sorry to hear that @LeopardLover 😔 keeping everything crossed for you that nothing worsens over the weekend and your appointment goes well on Monday.
@Eirlys1986 excited for you getting your peak!! I hope this month is the one for you ☺️

Anyone else currently in the TWW? I am not early testing after the possible chemical last month, but already SO inpatient and I’m only 1/2 days DPO😂xx

Eirlys1986 · 29/07/2023 08:33

@H0pefull thanks 😊, just rested and got peak this morning. It sometimes makes me more excited than a pregnancy test oddly! 😂. We’ve got a busy day today but shall have to dtd tonight and tomorrow. So I’m now in my “superb life window” and I shall join you in the valley of torment shortly 🔥!
I completely agree with not early testing after your experience last month. I am a serial early tester and actually now after having the MMC I think I’ll be far better at waiting so I can spend longer feeling hopeful!

H0pefull · 29/07/2023 08:39

@Eirlys1986 superb life window I love that 😂😂
That’s a good way to look at it actually, not early testing = longer of being hopeful xx

CurlyWurly1991 · 29/07/2023 08:41

@Mrsspoon3 Hmm, did your Opk turn fully negative the next day? If you chart cm that could be a good indicator too, although mine dries up 1-2 days before ovulation. Fingers crossed you are still in with a chance this cycle.
I’m taking a folic acid supplement and B6 complex with 50mg p5p, magnesium and zinc. DH is on a basic multivitamin but is not very consistent with taking them. What do you take?
