16 DPO, high temp, AF due tomorrow

Hi All,

Got myself in a bit if a tiz - this TWW as been awful.

Have been trying on and off for a very stressful 18 months, all without a sniff of a BFP.

But this month I have felt so different. After O (tested with CB O test and temping). Had soooo many symptoms; nausea, cramps, bad taste in mouth, headaches, creamy cm and dizziness all varying from 5DPO until today (16 DPO). As I have never normally experienced any of this during the TWW I have been convinced I would be seeing BFP soon. Temp has been measuring high (and still is today) but after getting a BFN today when I tested, im worried I've just imagined all of it. I used CB early detection and It wasn't with my first urine of the day (I was trying to hold out until Tuesday if no AF Tomorrow....I failed!).
As Im slowly driving myself mad, I was just wondering if anyone got BFN at this point and went onto the see BFP? Could it be that I didn't use first urine of the day??

Clutching at straws I guess, but there is always hope until AF arrives

9dpo is super duper early!!! When I'm in the mood for testing I look at this website called countdown to pregnancy, they have a calculator that shows the percentages of women (who were pregnant) who get negative tests versus positive tests by day!

Don't worry about voicing the hopes :) what will happen will happen, whether you are vocal about being hopeful or miserable won't change that :)

I have everything crossed for you!!!!

I'm feeling ok actually! I feel like I've turned a bit of a corner and am also feeling hopeful!!

@mushroomushroom Thank you for that! I've just have a quick look and already feel better. I know its early, I just though if I was feeling a certain way that it must show up? Doesn't help seeing loads of super early BFPs on here. Makes you think you should be getting one and panic when you don't. 🙈

@RCARB oh god I know, everyone seems to be getting these shining strong bfp's at like 5dpo and it always makes me feel like shit getting bfn's at 8/9/10dpo even though statistically it's so unlikely to get a positive by then!

There's another blog I like to read when I'm in the TWW by this woman who calculated the amount of HCG in your system by day after implantation, and actually it's still quite low after and takes a few days to show up, so even if you are pregnant it still won't show for several days! Plus, you could have slow rising HCG so even if you don't get a positive until a good bit later it doesn't mean you aren't pregnant!

@mushroomushroom I am a donkey on the edge today anyway. Cried driving to work because I decided I could relate to the song that was playing 🙈 and just now a work colleague told me she's prego, which is lovely news for her but has ended in a ten minute secret cry in the toilet for me!

I really really really hope I am this cycle. Its been such a loooong journey. I felt so sure this time but the closer im getting to AF being due the less sure I am. I keep looking at the photo of the BFN hoping a line will have suddenly appeared that I missed this morning. Im a loon 😭.

Oh girls I'm going mad!
Last period 10 Feb
Used the clear blue OPK and got a static smiley very early as in a couple of days after my period ended.. which normally takes about 4 days after my period ending to get a static so that was over 2 weeks ago..
according to Flo due my period Friday (normally pretty accurate for dates)

Tested today... and I got a faint positive on the blue tests (early detection), tested on the pink Material

Anyway tested on the pink wondfo non early tests and there's a faint line not as strong as the blue early tests but it's there

Just did a test 6 day early digital and it's saying not pregnant .. I thought the early digital clear blues were as sensitive as the early strip tests.

I'm on such an emotional rollercoaster.

Anyone had anything similar?

Hey @Bluebella27 . Ill be honest I've not had any luck with any form of pregnancy test 🙈......but as far as I know, it can take a little longer to get a BfP on a digital. Im sure if you try again in a couple of days you will get your digital BFP x x x

Yeh, im not surprised! Thats crazy early. Im sorry I can't be much help. I think should really take comfort in the BFPs on the other tests though. That can only be positive! Im sure digital bfp will be on its way. When is AF due to arrive? X x

@RCARB Tested this morning and still faint practically negative... Absolutely gutted, I'm not sure if i can keep going on this journey tbh.. I'm wondering if I just need to try and accept what I have and grieve what's not meant to be.

@RCARB im sorry, you are feeling like this. Tbh I don't have any experience with positive tests as in the 2 years plus trying, I've never had a clear BFP. Could it be a possible chemical? So sorry your having such a tough time .

Its such a hard journey. Im also feeling it too atm. Its just not fair is it? 💔 Remember its not over until AF arrives x x x

@RCARB oh god love you I know that absolute punch in the gut when someone you know tells you they're pregnant 😔 obviously you're happy for them but it makes you feel like crap. Not a nice feeling to be feeling both ends of the emotional spectrum at once 😂😅

How are you this morning? When is AF due btw? I'm set to ovulate on Monday, which ordinarily would make for a fun weekend but DP has a back injury so I'm not sure how we're going to manage it 😅

Also haha I totally feel you on the looking at photos of tests to see if a line is there, I also go through and change all the colours hoping to see something 🤣

@Bluebella27 ugh I'm sorry the lines are playing tricks on you! I've heard that the digital are less reliable early on, but you could try cracking it open to see if there's a line on it on the inside? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that your line gets stronger. Don't forget that HCG only doubles every two days, not every day, so it's not impossible that it will be stronger tomorrow xxx

@mushroomushroom haha I know!! Im feeling much more sane this morning. No crying on the way to work. Instead I tried some positive affirmations and announced in my car to myself that "I am pregnant and it will happen this month". So I say im feeling sane but that makes me sound even crazier than the crying haha.

Im okay, 10 DPO today and AF only due on Tuesday/Wednesday so I'm trying to keep positive. I had horrible nightmares last night though. Not baby related but just awful. I read somewhere that vivid dreams can be a thing? Who knows. Im always clutching at straws for some kind of symptom. I did an easy at home test this morning and BFN. But im okay for now. I still feel like there is time.

Hi lovely,
Negative on CB digital, negative on CB, Superdrug and pound shop non digitals. Faint positives on Boots early and Wondofs strip tests. Sigh.

Period due today with some usual mild cramping.

The faint positives haven't got any stronger so considering how long i seemingly ovulated it's hard seeing this progressing .

Last month I got a faint faint line but next day completely gone not like these lines that are lingering on for days but only on specific tests.. very deflating... and exhausting!

Is it just the strip tests you have gotten positives? Could it be a bad batch?

I only ask because, I had similar experience with strip tests where I was getting faint lines for 24 hours and the next day they would go. I put it down to a bad batch as it happened for 2 cycles on the bounce. It was soul destroying 💔. I do understand how shit it all is x x x x

So faint lines have been on 2 different strip brands and the Boots early detection sticks there was a shadow I'd say on the CB stick yesterday but if you're not used to squinting then negative...

I'm 11 DPO today AF due Tue/Weds. I did a FRER this morning and think I can see a line but could all just be in my head. We have bee TTC for 2 years now without a sniff of a proper BFP. I feel quite different this cycle so fingers crossed 🤞 x x x x

Actually I think I just have a terrible case of line eyes 😑. That and desperation . I hate TWW! Xx
