@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 twice a day for 10 days?! I don’t think we could manage twice a day full stop 😂. Maybe it is the change in not being at work etc and having constant snacks on tap which is helping, I felt mildly queasy this morning and deffo have insomnia and sore nipples so hopefully all shall be fine at upcoming scan. I feel strangely philosophical about it at present as we conceived so easily this time so what will be will be, we shall see. I keep forgetting I’m pregnant tbh which is odd as I was obsessed with getting pregnant in the months leading up to us beginning to ttc.

CurlyWurly1991 · 07/06/2023 15:44

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 wow you have stamina! Impressed
@RoseH36 that makes sense. I’ve also changed job in the intervening years and will be making use of time to rest as and when I can! I do a mix of on site and wfh.
absolutely shattered at work today, brain fog, etc.
I did not sleep well last night, between cramping all over and weird joint pains, nausea and terror/excitement about the prospect of all of this!!
i had forgotten it’s the nausea when you get hungry. So when I was pregnant before I just ate and ate and ended up bloody huge!!

RoseH36 · 07/06/2023 17:36

@Elen123 @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 thank you.

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 jeez, how much stamina have you two got 🤣

@Eirlys1986 haha me neither! Definitely don't have the energy for that. Is your scan soon?

@CurlyWurly1991 it does all sound like the right kind of signs you're getting. Maybe time to take the plunge and do a test.

We've decided we will tell parents quite soon that we're expecting again just so we have that support should we need it and at least we can talk about it with them.

I'm now not sure when I'm meant to tell the hospital. I was told we can call and book a scan when we like but best to wait until 8 weeks. I don't want to get a booking in appointment before then as want to ensure everything is ok. So thinking I'll call them next week and see what they say.

CurlyWurly1991 · 07/06/2023 18:06

@RoseH36 eek! Do you think so?! I have one pound store test in. Too much of a cheapskate to buy multiple tests. Just took so long to get a positive last time I don’t want to waste one, plus it would be such very early days..

RoseH36 · 07/06/2023 18:16

@CurlyWurly1991 totally understand that, it is very early days. It's so hard not to think about the what if though isn't it? Hence why I caved and tested today as couldn't wait a day longer 😆

Eirlys1986 · 07/06/2023 18:37

@RoseH36 it’s on Tuesday coming day after we get home from holiday and toddler is off to nursery whilst we have a day off for the scan and to collect the dog from the doggy sitter she’s been with whilst we’ve been away! It can obviously be different everywhere but I imagine if you ring the main hospital switchboard and ask for the early pregnancy assessment unit that’s going to be the correct place to book yourself in for an early reassurance scan 👍🏻 without actually starting a “booking appointment” at that point.

bunnynbear · 07/06/2023 18:39

@RoseH36 Congratulations!!! Im so happy for you, my fingers are crossed for you on your journey!

sending baby dust to everyone else, lets hope we get more good news

RoseH36 · 07/06/2023 19:46

@Eirlys1986 not long to wait then! Your holiday has come at an ideal time to district yourself. Thank you, will try that.

@bunnynbear thank you.

Hoping more of you get your good news this month.

Bumblebee413 · 07/06/2023 19:59

Huge congratulations @RoseH36 ! Very exciting.

Keeping everything crossed for you @CurlyWurly1991 x

All together those symptoms sound really reassuring @Eirlys1986 . So glad that you’re finally getting a well earned break. Well as restful as a holiday with a toddler is! Ours seems to turn into a teenager this week! What breed of dog have you got?

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 20 times in 10 days?! 🤯🤯🤯

Eirlys1986 · 07/06/2023 20:20

@Bumblebee413 ah we’ve got the old classic cockapoo- she’s crossed with a field spaniel so is extra fruit loops. I attach photos of her enjoying her best life for you all to enjoy ☺️ She’s always referred to as the “first born” in our house 😂. Have you got a dog? X

@Bumblebee413 thank you.

@Eirlys1986 oh she's adorable! Loving the glasses.

Bumblebee413 · 07/06/2023 21:38

Oh she’s gorgeous!! Excellent photos, thank you! Just when you think this thread couldn’t get any better- incredible, supportive ladies and dog photos 😍

SnookyPook · 07/06/2023 22:37

Hellooooooo!! I had completely lost this group! So glad I've found you all again! I've just spent an hour reading through the thread to catch-up! Apologies I can't respond to everything but massive congratulations @RoseH36 on your BFP. Everything crossed for you! And @CurlyWurly1991 got a good feeling for you too... 🤞🏻🤞🏻

I'm 8dpo... Manically trying to not symptom spot but on hyper-alert to every possible little thing. I have been quite gassy and my boobs are a bit tender/tingly... But could easily be manifesting those from sheer overthinking!

In the meantime, as dog pics seem to be the new thing, here is my gorgeous first born 🥰

DmcinT · 07/06/2023 22:48

Just found this thread through another, I’m 38 this year and ttc #1 had a MMC at 11 weeks with triplets at the start of April so it’s been an emotional journey so far. I’m currently 8 dpo so 🤞🏽 For lots of rainbows. I’m trying to hold out until Saturday and I’ve a hen party to go to that night 🙈😬

@RoseH36 huge congrats on ur bfp 🥰 hope ur feeling good ❤️

ps loving the doggies 😍@Eirlys1986 & @SnookyPook

Eirlys1986 · 08/06/2023 06:40

@RoseH36 thanks- I like to think the glasses make her more professorial
@SnookyPook what a gorgeous doggo 🥹, I am missing ours now we are on holiday and she’s with the dog sitter.
@DmcinT hello 👋 so sorry to hear about your MMC at 11 weeks, triplets too, That all must’ve been so emotional. Good luck for Saturday xx

Eirlys1986 · 08/06/2023 06:42

@Bumblebee413 I am definitely loving this group even more with dogs in x

CurlyWurly1991 · 08/06/2023 07:02

@DmcinT welcome!! Wishing you the best for this cycle. I’m so sorry you have had a tough journey to get to this point.
good luck too @SnookyPook not long yet until you will know!
@RoseH36 not sure about who to call - is it the EPU first then, not with GP? I have no idea what I did last time and lived in another area plus things may have changed.
loving the doggie pics, they are making me smile this morning.
Have had another night of waking at 2am and taking hours to get back to sleep. SPD is here (joy!) and that stabbing pain in my hip is waking me up despite big pillow between my legs while lying on my side.
travelling for work today and tomorrow and staying at a hotel. Not very enthusiastic but figured I can try and escape throughout the day for some ‘strategic’ naps.
holding out to test until at least Sat when I will be either 18 or 12dpo, probably 18.
Hope everyone has a positive day and weekend ahead x

LeopardLover · 08/06/2023 07:30

@RoseH36 Congratulations! What a strong line 😍

@Eirlys1986 I hope you're having the best holiday! Your doggo is so cute 🥹 I didn't have nausea etc with my son until 11 weeks so I'm sure you're all good with the symptoms you have, but great you have that scan soon 🙏🏻

@DmcinT Gosh, I'm so sorry for your loss. 💔 That must've been really hard. Fingers crossed you get a BFP soon!

@CurlyWurly1991 Ahhh,not SPD! The worst. Well done if you can hold out until 18DPO, I did that with my son!

@SnookyPook Ahhhh, another gorgeous doggo to melt my heart! 9DPO today 👏

Eirlys1986 · 08/06/2023 12:43

@LeopardLover thanks 🐶, I am having a good holiday thanks, definitely feels like I’m dragging myself from one sleep to the next at present (both the toddlers and mine). Thanks for letting me know about your lack of nausea till 11 weeks with your son, I think I maybe had similar where I had later onset nausea and think it hung around on and off till 16 weeks but can’t be certain.
Good luck for this cycle for you, are you 9DPO did I see? X

Awww, so glad you're having a good time! I hope your toddler is sleeping well?

Fingers crossed it's that!! 💜 Thank you. Unfortunately not, I'm CD3 and due to ovulate at Glastonbury 🙃😂xxx

RoseH36 · 08/06/2023 13:22

@DmcinT I'm sorry to hear about your mmc, especially being with triplets that's a lot to take in. My mmc was 11 weeks too back in January. Sending positive thoughts your way. Fingers crossed for Saturday for you, it can take a while for your body to get back to normal so don't be disheartened if its not a positive.

@Eirlys1986 definitely makes her look professional.

@CurlyWurly1991 I'm not sure if all areas are the same but I can self refer straight to the midwife team rather than calling my GP first, not just because of the mmc but that's now a standard thing. My left hip has never felt right since having SPD. It's definitely becoming more uncomfortable. Surely you'll be getting a BFP if that's starting? That's what made me suspect I was.

@LeopardLover thank you, I did think it looked quite strong for so early on. So we know what you'll be doing at Glastonbury then 😅

Un7breakable · 08/06/2023 18:29

Any of you chart savants?

All my fertility signs point to O on day 15/16 apart from temperature. I usually ovulate the day after first positive LH test.

Fertility friends app (finally)says ovulated on CD19 according to temperature but I had very low lh that day and no other fertility signs.

Did a progesterone test on CD 21 which confirms ovulation with a result of 33. My last progesterone test a few months ago was CD 24 7dpo at 38.

Any guesses when I ovulated?

I guess I'll find out once AF turns up but didn't DTD near CD19 so would be 100% out of that's the case.

@RoseH36 yay!!!!! Congratulations!!! Beautiful line 😍

@Eirlys1986 hope you're enjoying your trip!! Being pregnant during covid, I wished so hard I could have taken a trip before baby. Hope you're doing well

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 twice a day for 10 days?? Ah!! Girl!! How are your lady bits not in utter pain ahahaha maybe I'm just old. This was us 5.5 yrs ago, now once or twice a week feels appropriate 😄 good luck, btw!!!! Hope all this effort pays off and we get to see your bfp!!!

I started my pre period spotting, heavy day should be tomorrow or a day after. I told my partner no more testosterone shots. If we are trying we need to eliminate anything that can defer our progress. So looking forward to the next couple cycles. 🤞🏻

@RoseH36 thanks for that, not sure if/when I will need to be calling to book in. Still feeling very off and just having on/off spotting when my period was due 3 age ago.
@Un7breakable it seems odd that FF has gone with that date for ov. Do you usually get a dip followed by a rise at ovulation? From that chart I would expect o on CD 17, what was the cm like the day before? In the FF education pages they talk about cm sometimes reducing immediately prior to o and certainly afterwards, so it’s odd it has gone with that prediction. Does it change if you switch to the research or FAM analyser? I’ve just done a manual override on mine for when I think I ovulated.
