@Eirlys1986 im ok thanks hun. Bleeding has settled down now. Wondering how big the haematoma is now but won’t know until scan next week. X

LeopardLover · 20/06/2023 20:55

@Eirlys1986 I was thinking of you today. I'm just so sorry it's been so emotionally draining. I hope it's good news tomorrow and you are further along in the process than you think.

It must be really difficult dealing with pregnant colleagues too 😔 I'd find that hard too.

I hope you get some answers tomorrow, I'm glad it's in the morning so you aren't left wondering any longer.

That person who left the sign on your windshield can go do one. 🙄

LeopardLover · 20/06/2023 20:58

@TT82 You aren't too old!! I find this forum (not this thread) can be very doom and gloom... If you're over 34 you might as well give up 🙄 I've heard of lots of women giving birth in their 40s! I'm TTC #2 (37) but I definitely don't want to rule out a third one day.

4 chemicals sounds hard, how are you feeling? You just need one healthy egg! Or with IVF, one cracking embryo 🥰xx

Elen123 · 20/06/2023 21:10

Welcome @TT82 my mum was 43 when she had my sibling too (13 years later).

Still lots of family stuff going on for me which I'm finding it hard to juggle. So have tried to quickly catch up quickly on messages apologies if I've missed key things off in my skim reading.

@VixFromThe6ix I'm so sorry your OHs tests aren't what you'd hoped for. Totally get what you mean about everything becoming all consuming.

@Eirlys1986 I'm so sorry sending you all the positive vibes and unicorns (of course!), really wish there was a magic wand for this. As others have already said, hope your scan goes ok tomorrow.

@RoseH36 hope you're doing ok. Well done for getting an appointment, hope the universe is kind to you in the lead up and you can take some time prepping to advocate hard for yourself - we're all behind you!

@Muriel84 what a rollercoaster start, that must have been so scary. Sending you the all the good wishes that things continue to improve from here for you.

All those with BFPs hope you're doing well. All those waiting I hope time passes quickly for you with nice distractions. @LeopardLover have the BEST time at Glasto in every way! 🤞

Muriel84 · 20/06/2023 21:19

@LeopardLover omg yes have the best time at glasto! I was thinking of you, there’s so much Glastonbury chat on bbc6. Getting fomo already.

@Elen123 thank you ❤️

TheFanciestPants · 20/06/2023 21:23

@VixFromThe6ixsorry my response to your post seems to be MIA, I only just noticed as this thread moves so fast!
That's so frustrating about your husband's results. Is he seeing a urologist/male fertility specialist or an endocrinologist? I only ask, as in the UK there's very few male fertility specialists so it's not very well understood by most doctors.
We are awaiting lots of tests, so I haven't been tracking this cycle either. Sort of nice to have a break but sort of a lot to deal with too! So sending you all the best and 🤞the next set of tests look better xx
@LeopardLover have an amazing time at Glasto, your cracking embryos welcome to @TT82 was hilarious, your positivity is so wonderful( and welcome to @TT82 from me as well!).
@Muriel84 sorry you have had such a rough few weeks. Seems like it's a tough little embryo so sending postive vibes (and unicorn tears) it gets better soon 🦄❤️
@Eirlys1986 good luck tomorrow! We'll all be thinking of you and let the unicorns be in your favour 🦄🦄🦄

Eirlys1986 · 20/06/2023 21:24

@Muriel84 I’m so glad the bleeding has settled and I really hope all is well at the scan next week then hopefully a bit more relaxation and peace can come your way.
@LeopardLover the parking police can totally do one! 😂, thanks for thinking of me today. I passed some slightly odd tissue earlier that didn’t look like usual womb lining etc and after 48 hours of sharp pain in right side of pelvis it rapidly eased after so it’s made me a lot more hopefully ahead of scan tomorrow. I don’t want to get over hopeful though so as not to hurt my feelings again. Have the best time at glasto! Say Hi to Elton from me 😆
@Elen123 thanks so much, I’m sorry your family situation continues to be challenging, families are the best and also the most exhausting. Sending love your way x

Eirlys1986 · 20/06/2023 21:25

@TheFanciestPants thanks so much ! 🦄. I will keep everyone updated tomorrow xx

RoseH36 · 20/06/2023 21:37

I've missed loads, I've read through all the last messages and my useless brain can't remember half of what I've read.

Carrying on the part of the universe and rubbish timings, I got a letter at the weekend inviting me to a memorial service for baby loss (following the mmc).

Then tonight a friend has told me she's 8 weeks pregnant so that set me off. She knew about the mmc but not about last weeks mc so I told her. Couldn't hold back the tears and feels unfair we'd have been due so close together.

When will the universe give us a break??

Eirlys1986 · 20/06/2023 22:27

@RoseH36 -It’s official. The universe is a tool. Xxxxx

RoseH36 · 21/06/2023 07:37

@Eirlys1986 Haha yes it is!

Eirlys1986 · 21/06/2023 10:00

Morning all, hospital scan today thankfully confirmed everything seems to have passed now. I am very relieved and feeling hopeful again now. Will take a few weeks to rest and then get back on the TTC wagon with you all again. Thank you to all of you for being there, it really did make it easier to get through xxx

LeopardLover · 21/06/2023 10:09

@Eirlys1986 So pleased it was good news! Definitely take these few weeks for yourself, maybe do some yoga! 💜

Thanks everyone for the Glasto love! We're heading down first thing Friday so trying to get through my last day at work xx

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 21/06/2023 10:25

@Eirlys1986 really pleased to hear that, and now at least you can start putting it behind you. A few weeks to recover and take care of yourself sounds really good. Much love

TT82 · 21/06/2023 11:38

@Eirlys1986 🙏 Take care of yourself and hopefully soon we will be exchanging positive news! ❤️

Un7breakable · 21/06/2023 12:20

@Eirlys1986 So glad the scan went well. What a relief that must be for you.

Eirlys1986 · 21/06/2023 13:10

Thanks so much everyone
@LeopardLover have a great time at Glastonbury and I will definitely be trying to revisit and start my yoga again once I feel physically able 👍🏻
@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 thanks for your thoughts. I am definitely feeling more hopeful about trying again now, it is a scary thought too as it will come with understandable anxieties but I can think of ways to hopefully address those moving forwards.
@TT82 thanks 😊, I am so wanting to give myself time to heal but also so keen to be able to share happier times with everyone on here again. Fingers crossed 🤞
@Un7breakable thank you, I am feeling so so relieved. How are you feeling? How long till your 8 week scan now?

Elen123 · 21/06/2023 14:45

@Eirlys1986 sounds like you're handling all this amazingly well. So pleased things went ok for you today and hope you have lovely gentle things planned for the next couple of weeks. Xx

RoseH36 · 21/06/2023 16:29

@Eirlys1986 amazing news. Fingers crossed we'll get some positives in the group soon.

Eirlys1986 · 21/06/2023 17:13

@Elen123 thanks, we went to a teddy bear’s picnic with the toddler and just been to the park now. I’m knackered and still getting pain but kind of don’t care now I know I’m physically on track. X
@RoseH36 deffo fingers crossed 🤞 for more positive news for us all now! X

RoseH36 · 21/06/2023 17:22

@Eirlys1986 that's a nice way to spend the afternoon and a good distraction.

I'm back to testing for ovulation from tomorrow. Treated the mc as the start of a new cycle but not expecting to ovulate, although you never know.

DmcinT · 21/06/2023 17:29

@Eirlys1986 so pleased that things were at good as can be today❤️ It’s hard feeling relieved but I was the exact same. Lots of love and nice things for urself over the next few weeks and praying for ur bfp when ur ready to ttc again x

Un7breakable · 21/06/2023 17:42

@Eirlys1986 I'm doing fine thanks. Waking up really early which is apparently a thing, the occasional pain and nausea, and tender boobs that come and go. 3 weeks to go (hopefully) till the scan 🤞

Eirlys1986 · 21/06/2023 17:52

@Un7breakable yeh the sleep disturbance and early waking is definitely a think for a while unfortunately! I found it really all settled down for me by around 14-16 weeks though. I am hoping the 3 weeks goes by quickly for you, where are you going for your scan? A private place?
@DmcinT thank you, I said to the sonographer today it felt wrong to be actively pleased that she was showing me an empty womb on screen. She asked me if I wanted to see which gave me pause for thought but actually I decided it would be a good closure and rather than making me really sad I actually just felt pleased and thought it was just hopeful that next time things will work out now there is space for a new baby when the time is right.
@RoseH36 im keeping my fingers super crossed for ovulation this cycle for you. Your body will do what is right I’m sure! 👍🏻 x

Un7breakable · 21/06/2023 18:32

@Eirlys1986 Yes a private place. Not much choice due to where I live. No way I'm patient enough to wait till 11-13 week.
